As of late, GamingLight and it's management have taken steps toward removing players which are harmful to the community and it's members in any way. I don't have the context of this but, and this is a big but, Permanently banning a contributing, dedicated, and very long-standing member of the community over a single instance should only be tolerated in the following instances: Nazism Homophobia which is targeted and harmful Xenophobia which is targeted and harmful (No one cares about the tea jokes) Pedophilia (Any Instance) IRL Threats Doxxing I may have missed some, but a GIF about a dystopian world where freedom of speech is completely and utterly removed and destroyed has nothing to do with any of the above. If a member of management could provide further insight into the actual reason of the ban, good. If not, unban Sprink. There is no reason to keep our most dedicated players "behind bars", this is what kills servers, not revives them. Good luck. +Support

Fear of demotion =/ Respect Punishing members of security for doing anything that is outside GenSec rp (unless it is an issue that could result in a ban/blacklist) is truly unimaginable, What you are basically saying is that members of security are not allowed to engage in roleplay outside of GenSec if said roleplay could pose a threat to the branch. Limiting RP outside the branch you command should NOT be within the power of anyone under the O5/Ethics unless implied otherwise by Managers+. If you think that this is the correct way to run the formerly (maybe still) biggest branch on the server involves taking away the enjoyment of branch members from playing literally anything that is not foundation, good luck on your future endeavors my friend.

-support This is knit-picking and direct towards the dclass in the situation, I believe the rule about SCPs is that they may not team with anyone unless stated otherwise in their rules/description, not D class... This whole report should have been made against Sniperz, not Face. Issuing punishment within a branch that has nothing to do with the report before the report even closed is crazy imo, I remember why I left security and now understand why the cmd roster is so barren.

We have discussed the rules with SMT and they were approved, but their addition to the MOTD was denied if I am not wrong. Like I said in previous posts about the CC, we are not here to make the playfield un-fun for anyone, this CC has existed for a long while and for now will continue to exist. Our job is not only to kill people for money, it is to roleplay. You guys may not see the roleplay side of the job because you might have been on the recieving end of a hit request once or twice and now that's all you can focus on. Puppy guarding ^ "Spawn" includes the SCP's spawns which are their CC's This would fall under Metagaming if the SCP has not started self breaching yet. First, I would try to calm them down, if that doesn't work, a gag until the end of the sit is in place. (We have to get through the sit somehow) Then, I would look at the logs and confirm that the player had actually committed MRDM (Unless there's a clip). When dealing with any sit, we have to take a few things into consideration like: What kinds of curses are being used? How long have they been on the server for? Are they known for this kind of behavior? (Previous warns/bans for MRDM, Staff Diss, Racism etc) What is their motive? (Ask them) And more depending on the situation. Now, after taking all of these variables into consideration, I would tell them about the punishment and either: Give them a formal warning for both the MRDM and Staff Diss + a 5 day ban for MRDM. If the player is completely new and shows absolutely no intention to RP/Follow server rules it would usually be: Formal Warning+2 Week ban for NITRP (Not on the handbook but that is what was usually given for NITRP back when I was staff) If the player used excessive insults during the sits such as racism, homophobia, sexism or xenophobia, I would add that to the punishments above. Disclaimer: I am knowledgeable about the ban length maximum per staff rank and that I should always inquire help with a sit if beyond my power or understanding. Q3: In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving? I would explain to the player about the Warning Threshold Bans and in addition try to play into dynamic psychology by explaining to the player that he's hurting the community more then himself, hurting the experience of his friends and players around him.

What are you suggesting? - Currently, when using the armory, the UI closes each time you buy an item which forces you to reopen the UI again and again if you are going for more than one item, this affects mostly grenades and medkit/armor charges. I am suggesting to make it when you open the page it will not close until you press ESC and/or the X button at the top. How would this change better the server? - QOL Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? +/- Support Could take a bit of effort to implement but sounds cool. Currently when switching to the swep it tells you what to do as well so if this is to be accepted it might take priority over more important updates and improvements for no reason. If this is accepted it should be pushed to the back of the to-do list.

+Support Standing still to type on surface in an area visible to MTF is annoying and could result in D Class getting killed while doing it. I see no reason for this not being implemented when the CI base was the original spot for calling staff and getting the xp.
