Also has previous experience as a 501st officer, where he was well respected.

Seems pretty cut and dry. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. I'd push for letting the ban stand.
-
Agreed, I support it.

- Support Unfortunately I have received reports from multiple individuals, each saying that you have advertised your application while on another job. Please note the following disclaimer from High Command on all applications: "DO NOT ADVERTISE YOUR APPLICATION; IF YOU ARE CAUGHT YOU WILL BE DENIED!"

What is your in game name?: MANDO What is your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:11031174 What is your rank on the Naval Roster?: Commodore What specialty are you applying for?: Chief Aviation Officer What Naval HC (Admiral +) gave you permission to apply?: Spectre What can you do to improve the branch you will be responsible for? As CAO, I would be able to help the command members of SF improve the RP experiences of all pilots, while providing additional trainings and/or tryouts when command is unavailable. I plan to assist in any way I can, be it through roster updates, extra SIMs, assistance with making command decisions, or mediation of internal problems. I bring real world Navy experience from serving onboard surface warfare vessels, professional leadership experience, and lessons learned from business school to the table. I also bring SF experience from when I served under Rosa and Deaky earlier this year. In short, I want to improve SF by: Providing more opportunities to fly, be that through SIMs, training, or combat events Support command in making tough decisions within the battalion Restoring a general sense of professionalism within the unit Setting the bar higher for pilots to be their best selves on the job Fostering a new generation of strong SF leaders Why should you be trusted with this position?: During this turbulent period between September/October as an AO, I have pushed for professionalism and greater seriousness on job, with a strong stance against overly mingey behavior. I have supported SF with sims, tryouts, and trainings. I attend weekly SF meetings and provide input. I attend as many SF PDBs as I can. I feel that I should be trusted with this position because I have, and will continue to be, one of the most vocal champions for SF and its people. I strongly believe that the many SF pilots I have interacted with would agree. Why do you want this rank?: Currently, SF is recovering from a period of serious instability. The battalion experienced massive "brain drain" upon the loss of several of its most senior officers and command members in September. With that, the focus has been on helping the NEW command members restore the battalions former glory. As CAO of SF, I plan to do just that: assist SF command in reviving the battalion. I want this rank for multiple reasons: I can (and will) support SF in this period of restoration and team building. The more knowledgeable and capable our officers and NCOs are, the STRONGER we are. I can empower the Marshals with strong Naval support, be it through a fresh perspective in mediation or stronger RP experiences that incite loyalty to the unit. I desperately want SF to be a strong, self-sustaining unit like other battalions onboard. I am positive that I can make strides toward this goal and help restore it to its former glory. Do you understand that if you receive a strike you will be stripped of this rank?: Yes What is your purpose within your assigned branch?: The purpose of a aviation officer is to provide oversight of the SF team, maintain order and protocols related to ships moving about our bays and airspace, and oversee ATC operations. Beyond this, the purpose of a CAO is to assist SF command and oversee the efforts of other AOs (including assignment of weekly AO taskings). Thank you for your consideration.

- Support This is the shortest app I have seen in a minute. I am on the bridge nearly every day and rarely ever run into you. SO specialty slots are highly coveted positions, and are not often handed out to casual Naval members. I would recommend increasing your activity and showing members of Naval leadership why you deserve such a slot. Right now, I don't feel as though you do. Regardless, good luck.
-
- Support I have never seen you before. Literally never. Furthermore, based on the above replies from other higher ranking Naval, I don't feel like you've made an impression on enough people to be considered for a specialty slot. NOTE: The admiralty recently stated that "people who get off after events, sims, trainings to farm promotions will be demoted. If you're just going to get on in order to get a promotion or to look good in front of people, you will be striked/demoted/removed." I recommend you stay on your Naval job more often so that people learn about who you are and how you operate... and keep in mind the above statement from leadership.

Agreed. Josef is finally picking a specialty, thank god. + Support

- SUPPORT Absolutely, categorically, 100% NOT FIT to be an officer in the 501st. One of the most notorious minges in GL ImperialRP. Has an awful reputation in the community. Rarely follows orders. If he does follow orders, he questions them first. Every time, without fail. Removed and restricted from the Gamemaster team for "Abusing Powers, Spawning Props Off-Duty, Scaling Off-Duty, Taking Sits meant for GMs / Staff." Often disses players in OOC. Even among others his age (early teens) he is extremely immature. Grow up, learn to respect others, and follow orders. You have no business leading anyone with the track record you have right now.

- Support This is a tough post to make, but I feel like I have to make it - not doing so would be dishonest. Most people know Gustav as a model 501st trooper, but they don't see the little things behind the scenes. Gustav has caused many issues internally for our troopers since becoming an officer and gaining responsibility. He is a micromanager to an alarming degree, seeking full control over every detail of 501st operations. If anyone questions Gustav, he will turn his attention - and intense scrutiny - on them. This, in turn, makes life under his command uncomfortable. All areas under Gustav's purview - including the Jet Trooper sub-battalion - have become much more particular in how they can be used. Most of us are professional and follow community rules. Gustav is a fanatical believer in "non-minge," taking "professionalism" to a level that sucks the entertainment out of time on Gaminglight ImperialRP. He has gone out of his way to report any behavior not in line with his definition of "non-minge." As a final note - Gustav has risen to the rank of COL in less than two months, while many other qualified low command officers have slogged through the ranks over many, many months to earn their place. This opinion may be unpopular, but I strongly felt the need to share it. Good luck to all 501st VCMDR applicants.
