Flight Lieutenant How many strikes do you have? I have no Strikes Why should we trust you with an Officer rank? I have previous experience in being trusted with an officer rank in Shock and even held the position of a Vice and Commander for a couple months. I haven't been an NCO for very long but SF is really struggling especially with an active officer corps and I feel I can be a big help in that regard. My goals as an officer are to help the battalion grow and regain some of its lost numbers and also help increase activity as a whole as it has been pretty poor for a while now. SF does need a helpful and good officer core and I believe I can be a good addition to it. What can you do to assist command with this rank? I can provide activity, Leadership, and helpful advice to enlisted, NCO's and other officers. I have some fun ideas of Sims and trainings to do with SF and I also want to help Revive Cobra squad. I can help Teoz a little more with the position of officer as I know it can be difficult running a battalion on your own. I feel I am more than capable of exceeding and doing well in this position. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : Vice Marshall Soph 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Imperial Starfighter Corps 3.Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I would like to be Marshall of the Imperial Starfighter Corps because I have been in the branch for over 6 months now, 5 of which I have been a Vice Marshall, and over that time I encouraged activity, kept rosters and SF documents up to date, and tried to cut as much minging as possible from the battalion. I have a lot of fun in SF and I want to keep it that way for the people that come after me too. Taking this position will also allow me and Deaky to work closer together and share some more of the work, allowing both of us to be more informed on decisions and take some stress off of him too. Starfighters really means a lot to me and watching it grow throughout my time here really has been amazing. It really has been the one constant in my time playing, and I have made so many friends and met so many new people because of it. I never really thought I would ever come this far, I honestly expected to never play the server again but the people I talked to during my short time on seemed so kind and helpful I didn't think I could leave that easily. Ever since then I have had so much fun with the branch and it has always been my goal to progress as far as I can go. Being able to get the Marshall position would really make my journey come full circle and allow me to offer SF even more than what I do now. I hope to improve the battalion and I really have tried to do so in so many ways; interacting with enlisted, helping make important decisions, being active in Discord and Teamspeak, etc. But at the end of the day being a Marshall would give me an even better opportunity to do even more than what I do now, and it would put me in a better position to keep helping the battalion I have been a part of for months. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? 5 weeks. I first joined SF on 10/31/2020. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The main purpose of a commander for a branch is to maintain the battalion and act as a model for how other members of the branch are expected to act. Some responsibilities that fall under branch maintenance are keeping documents and rosters up to date, coordinating battalion updates, actively communicate with high command regarding important branch affairs, organizing officers, running battalion meetings, and enforcing rules in an unbiased manner. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : You should trust me with Marshall because I have put a lot of time and effort into helping SF succeed. Over the past 5 months I have dedicated hours every day to being a part of my branch and do my best to make sure all of that time is spent improving the battalion. I let three people apply uncontested for Marshall because I felt I wasn't ready for the position, but I believe that after being command under Sully, Ptob, and Deaky, I have the skills I need to help further the branch and improve it as a Marshall. Not only have I learned a lot from the experiences I've had, but I will keep improving and learning from the situations I am faced with as a command member. 7. The main reason why I would love to be vice Marshall is to help everyone to gain connections with other battalions! Then also strengthen the bonds of starfighters even though we are in the same regiment, I believe this is the most important to make a priority to have a connection to the people we play the game with! I am also willing to help squadron leads with activity also if they need help with the SOP’s to make them more improved or to make it look stronger I will gladly do so!! Also we have tried solving the minging problem with SF with NCOs and Officers and it's going well already, but if it needs more improvement I will gladly help make that less of an issue! Tryouts are already boosting, but I help make it stay as high as it is now to have more people join in!!! 4.} How much game time do you have on the server? I have 7 weeks on the server and I joined the server on 09/05/2020 I joined SF on 9/25/2020 5.} What is the main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The purpose of being a commander or vice commander for any regiment is to be there of its members to help support them when needed or even when not needed, you never really expect the outcome of anything unless you are there to understand with those around you. A commander or vice commander is supposed to strengthen the bonds of everyone and the troops as well!! Although command is really supposed to keep on officers it's more important to keep an eye on the whole regiment as a whole unit and don't just keep an eye out on just one group!! A commander is supposed to be the glue of a regiment and help support then also organize a branch, without this glue a branch can fall apart and break into pieces. Being a role model is important too because if you are a terrible role model the people under you will see you as unfit to lead and that can cause issues with people you need to be close with. A commander is also meant to help those who want it and need it to improve on skills like combat, or for instance for SF with flying which is very important when it comes to starfighters!! 6.} Why should we trust you to be a commander? Although I may not have any experience with being a commander and only managing the little bits of SF, I am willing to take a step forward and handle things that need to get done or anything that just needs to be overseen. I feel like the officers along with NCOs in SF feel comfortable with me trying to step up and take that bigger step to make Starfighters a whole unit like a family. I will also make sure that SF can be the most interactive battalion with other regiments, like I said in the beginning, having connections with other people makes a group or battalion strong. Not to mention also makes everyone not feel alone and feel like it's fun to be with others. Therefore this also goes along with it encouraging passive RP with other branches!!! I will also increase more sims in battalion and out battalion also when I'm not in game, I will constantly fix/update roster so we can have a clear view of those who are active and those who are not, then when it comes to documents I can touch them up or update them more when other members of SF feel it's necessary. Another thing I would make my priority is to find things to do when we can’t fly, which has been a lot. I've already got some things for them to do like to switch to ground armor and protect SHB or check ID’s for people coming into SHB for passive RP!! I will also encourage officers and NCOs to be on the forms more!! 7.} How often can you be Online I can be online everyday for at least 5-10 hours and hop on whenever anyone needs me if I am home or free 8.} Do you have any Warnings? 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : SF GC SRC SV Seaman 1995 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Starfighters 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I would like to be a vice-commander (Vice Marshal) because of how much I have really grown in this battalion and how much it has changed me as a person in game. As a Vice Marshal I would do my absolute best to make sure SF is striving as a whole. One thing I'd push for more of is higher activity within the squadrons (Gladius, Sentry, and Cobra). Seeing these more active will benefit SF in 2 ways; tightening the bonds between SF members and having other battalions of the ISD be more aware of them. This can really apply to all 3 squadrons as they CAN have interactions and greater relationships with other battalions and can be achieved with passive RP, sims and even small things such as binds. This serves as my ultimate goal, being able to see SF be successful! I’d also like to mitigate the issue SF can run into in during moments of high player count on the server; there are many things to do but it's not something that is entirely taught or shown how to handle. I believe there are many things that can be done to help with moments of “boredom” with SF which causes members to leave as they may believe they do not get what they tried-out for. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? I have 312 hours played on the server, which is just under 2 weeks. I typically play anywhere from 4-10 hours a day but can be reached at any time. I initially joined this server on February 5th and within an hour joined SF. With no 2nd life all my time and dedication has been put into SF. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The main purpose of a commander for a branch is for their dependency and consistency of reinforcing and rewarding positive and correct behavior. As long as this main purpose is reached there should be no issues throughout the branch both as a whole and through the numerous relationships between it’s members. Commanders should act as the best role model to their subordinates in order to maximize effectiveness. Being a great role model includes but is not limited to reactions, manners, listening, training and execution and creation of orders both in and out of branch specialties. All of these can easily and commonly be reached by typical battalion action such as events, sims, tryouts, passive RP and patrols. Commanders in any branch should be showing these traits but also be reminding and enforcing the same attitude and ideology on fellow officers and all within the battalion. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I should be trusted as Vice-Marshal because I have always been sticking by the book since day one. Everything I do and have done has been extremely precise and well thought out. Doing so allows me to be one step ahead of everyone else that I am against (rebel scum) and those I happily work with. I would say that this is most visibly seen in the SF tryout log. Within there I have done a lot of work for the battalion and its members by working hard to recruit new members and have pushed the NCOs and high ranking enlisting who are working on becoming NCOs become successful. I work to prioritize my SF by being both tough yet appreciative of their actions as I do realize some of the stuff needing to be done can be intimidating or an occasional pain in the butt. Regardless of any situation I’m placed in I have always been rooting for all members within Gaminglight Imperial RP and been offering my help (even to those outside of the SF battalion and to those who are above me in rank). I’d also like to say that being a Centurion in the Sentry squadron has given me a second sense of responsibility so this can give me an edge in terms of readiness. -side note- I've seen the work that a lot of people put into this community and I've appreciated that - a lot. At first I didn't really pay attention to it but as I played more I realized the passion that a lot of people have so what better way to give thanks is to become that myself and give back or make the experience someone gave me to someone else. 7. How often can you be Online? : I can be online nearly everyday for several hours typically between 10am-6pm EST. Although I may not always be online IN GAME, my notifications on discord are on and DMs are always open to help both game-related and non game-related issues and scenarios to anyone. 8. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : Vice Marshall Deaky 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Imperial Starfighter Corps 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I’ve been in SF for an insane amount of time, and I’ve learned a lot from my superiors such as Senior Marshall PTOB and Marshall Sully. Not only did I work well with PTOB, he became the first ever Senior Marshall in the server’s history. I definitely feel I could follow up in his footsteps and make SF more exquisite and honorable. With Vice Marshall Soph not wanting the position of Marshall, A huge issue is Our Command Team. Neither of us are able to promote above the rank of Group Captain. I want to improve The Battalion by making it better than it Is currently. Another reason I would like to become the Marshall is to open up new chances for members of SF to become command and help the battalion grow and reach new accomplishments, with doing that we could have a complete command team. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? 9 weeks in game. joined SF 11/03/20 started playing on the server August 2020 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? With becoming a commander you are the true leader of a battalion, you are expected to keep the battalion active, which I believe I am doing decent with activity. They also need to keep up with stuff outside of Gmod, such as the roster, taking care of problems within the discord and updating documents to ensure everything stays up to date and everything runs smooth. Being active is a big part of becoming Commander, you should try to stay as active as you can to ensure you keep a healthy relationship with your battalion. You should be promoting people if you see them doing a good job / being active, you should be able to spot those kinds of people that are willing to do a lot for the battalion and promote them. With becoming a commander you should also have good relations with the rest of the command team, it's easy to run a battalion when you stay in contact with the other command members. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : While I maintain good communication with Navy High Command, Aviation Officers and former command members, I also constantly talk to my NCOs and officers asking for constructive criticism on how we can improve the battalion and what I can improve on myself personally. The main reason you should trust me to become a commander is because of the accomplishments that SF has made and to keep those accomplishments going we need a commander. I want to strive and continue to make SF a better and welcoming battalion, I've been trying my hardest to make sure everyone in the battalion is respectful to not only other SF but different regiments. I plan on continuing to think of idea's and different things we can do to make SF more fun and exciting for players. 7. Ptob’s SNR Marshall Resignation To All SF, It was fun serving you guys, To the ones who are new, to the ones who are old, and to the ones who have already moved onto other things. It was great to play with you guys and meet a community of new people. How the future of SF will look is unknown to me but it is up to everyone of you to build a future for it. There are problems I feel that I’ve fixed I think since I’ve been in command. However, there are problems I hoped to fix like flying at high player count and things like that but I couldn't accomplish that at all. Maybe a new command in the future will be able to fix the issues I failed to fix, but that is all a mystery. I hope that I have done enough for all of you, I hope I have made SF a fun battalion to be in. We in the past have been called one of the mingest battalions and in some cases that is true, but we have fixed that. However, the people who call us that do not know how we work for the battalion, Only some of them realize that our main purpose of flying is greatly limited when we have high player counts, We have to make our own fun and we have to stay entertained, I appreciate all of you that stayed in the battalion even though it wasn't too much fun at points, and I understand why some of you left because of the same reason. To all the battalions, SF is not your personal chauffeur, Please shut it if you think we are, I have had to report a good chunk of you because of these words, If you think you can disrespect us then go somewhere else. SF I appreciate you all, all of you are the reason I stayed and got to SNR Marshall is because of you guys, it's been fun o7. In honesty I wanted to stay either till we got our new map or till my 3 month anniversary as command on 2.28.2021, but with a member of my command being incompetent and not listening to me then my choice is obvious. Specific People Azir - I wish you were still VM, You were removed unfairly for a thing you explained and then told to just roll over like a dog, It was an unfair treatment from high command. Soph - Soph... , You have a lot to work on, you're egotistic, you always do what is better for yourself instead of the battalion, you disagree with me and go against what I tell you to do all the time. I told you to respect the sentries and to let them guard you so they have something to do yet you tell me no just because they annoy you, you need to do what's best for the battalion and not for yourself. You say you don't want to be commander and yet you stay as a Vice Commander, make up your mind. You never do anything during the meeting, literally during the last one I did all the meeting notes, I did all the talking, I asked you to do promotions and I had to step in to finish it. Either step up or step down. Sitting on bridge all day isn't helping SF, and sitting in the command office isn't helping SF either. Deaky - Deaky, good luck with command. You are the only command that in a bit I see fit for commander at this time, If you wait a bit you may be able to achieve that, but that is completely up to you and your ability to do things for SF Sully - It was fun being under your command twice, both in Shock and in SF. Good luck your second time around in Shock. Metall and Rosa - Good luck, I’d be happy for either of you to get VM if a spot opens, you two have been great officers and have been productive with both of your subdivisions, Metall you brought Sentry up from the slump it was in and Rosa you have been active and helping Cobra a bunch and deserved Lead. Rosa it's been fun playing with you in SF, racing to the highest rank (I think I beat you), I hope one day you may be able to get command but that is entirely up to you. Metall same goes for you, you and Rosa have the same chance at VM if a spot does open up, so good luck to both of you. Taros - Sad to see you go from SF, I tried to wait for your ban appeal to end and what you brought to me after, but there wasn't much I could do. Classy - Your a good Tarkin and you could probably be a good Thrawn but you need to work on things, you removed one of my command members and while not entirely your decision you jumped to the gun and removed, influenced by the opinion of others and although Azir gave his opinion and the truth which you agreed to (I was watching it through screen share) you still removed him telling him to make it look like he resigned to save his dignity, give him a SF officer rank, or just remove him. You’ve also removed one of my officers who made a mistake and was misunderstood, I was waiting for more evidence and the ban appeal to end, even the person who reported him said to wait, but you again jumped on the gun going over my opinion and removing them. You let the opinions of others guide you too much, think for yourself. WiN - You supervise SF but in reality you don't do that much, You do Sims with us from time to time and guide from time to time, but a lot of the time you're just telling me to remove people without waiting time to let things play out. If you continue to supervise it you need to step up and guide the command instead of just sitting on the side lines.

Deaky's Starfighter Vice Marshall app. 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : SF WCMDR CSL AHTO Deaky 9120 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Starfighter Corps 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I want to become the Vice Marshall for Starfighters to help expand the battalion with new ideas. I’ve always been super passionate about the battalion ever since I joined it. SF and the members all mean a lot to me and I would be sure to make all the members feel wanted within the battalion. When I joined SF there was only about 20-30 people within the battalion at the time, with only 50% of them being active , I feel like I, along with my fellow officers and NCOs have made SF grow quite a bit with over 40+ tryouts logged myself. I constantly studied Sully’s , soph’s , ptob’s and azir’s actions while they have been command in SF and I feel as if I would be ready to help lead the battalion as they did. My time as SF moving from FC to WCMDR has been such a good time and I fully understand what my responsibilities would be as a Vice Marshall, I am confident the members of SF and SF command would also trust me with the responsibilities and trust me to lead. 4. The main purpose of being the commander of any battalion is to keep your battalion going and to have a stable relationship with all of the members. With doing that everyone will enjoy their time within the battalion, That will lead to having a high amount of players in your regiment. As for the VCMDR role, which I am applying for, I believe their job is to oversee all officers and make sure they are in check. They should also be active within the battalion and making sure that everyone in the battalion is happy with what is going on in the battalion as well as constantly improving it or trying to figure out how to improve it. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I believe I should be trusted with the role of Vice Marshall because of my hard work and dedication so far in SF, in my time in SF i’ve been trusted with the Lead role in Cobra squadron , the rank of WCMDR , as well as being the AHTO ( assistant Head training officer ). I’ve kept the squadron active as my time as the Lead, I’ve also implemented new ideas and documents into the squadron. I would like to take my skills from both of those roles and use them to assist the Starfighter corps as a whole. SF means a whole lot to me and I want to make it the same for others as well , I would make sure there is a constant connection between command , officers , NCO’s and enlisted to ensure everything in the battalion run’s smooth and we keep minging as low as possible. I would also like to expand the relations between SF and naval, not only naval but the naval sub battalions, I would want to be active with them too and keep the relations between them strong by doing SIM’s here and there with them , interacting with them more often and possibly create passive rp for them. I would also be super active not just in game but outside of it, I would stay on top of roster and documents as well as the discord to make sure everything in SF is moving smooth. 7.
