  1. + Support - Great CPT, worthy of being a MAJ - Been on longer than most active Gensec - Was Head of Gamenights (among us gamenights were pog) - DHFTO - Great app All the best man. I hope the fact we're competing for this position doesn't impede on our relationship. Good luck!
  2. even made sure with an admin it was just sop... editing now lmao
  3. Summed it up pretty good, good luck Squash.
  4. 1. Steam Name?: [GL] Jameshi 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:211312778 3. Roster Name?: Jameshi 4. Current Rank?: CPT 5. When were you promoted?: 10/24/2020 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 8/22/2020 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: Yes 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Yes 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Yes 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I believe I am fit to be a senior command member for a variety of reasons. First, my activity. I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to play time. I try my very best to balance my time between Medical, Maintenance, Security, and CI, and I believe I do so effectively. Assuming I get the Major rank I would obviously spend even more time than I do now on my Security job, as SCMD would be more demanding than anything I've come across before in Security and in the server as a whole. I'm well known mainly for my hours and the courtesy I exhibit to everyone under me, and neither of those would change in my becoming a Major. I believe I'm capable for the position in both mind and spirit; my time as a WO, 2LT, 1LT, and CPT has taught me the ins and outs of CMD as a whole, and I believe that I am ready to take on the challenge of SCMD. I'd continue to work readily with my fellow Gensec, and I would be sure to lead with a helping hand, not an iron fist. I'd further myself as the HOPO in working with low and junior command members in making PTs and offmeetings for Gensec to enjoy. I'll keep Wardens as pristine as it is now. Warden's reputation will most definitely not be tarnished by myself, and if anyone does something to sully the name they will be dealt with swiftly and effectively. As I said in my rollcall, being a DHWD in and of itself proves my ability to command and lead, a vital aspect of all CMD members, especially SCMD+. With all these fine achievements under my belt, it is under a strict and scrupulous mind that I believe myself fitting of the rank Major. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: They would receive a verbal warning and would be added to the watch list. If they continued to leave D-Block without perms they would receive a demotion for breaking the SOP. They would not be placed on a DNT afterwards, unless they had been notably rude or aggressive to any Gensec members. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I would inform them that the ability to leave D-Block freely is a privilege that should not be abused, they would then be placed on the watch list. If the same NCO kept leaving for terrible reasons, and did so in excess, I would consider giving them a strike. If more misdemeanor is observed they would obtain a strike. If, even after a strike, they continue to abuse their privilege, I would consult my fellow command to see if the NCO deserves the rank they have. If the CMD agree that their conduct is unbefitting of their rank, they would be demoted. If a demotion doesn't stop them, they'd be demoted down to CPL and put on a 1-strike policy. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would immediately contact any E11 CMD about the problem, as well as report the player for breaking the MOTD. Assuming no E11 CMD are on (tho Zeus never sleeps lmao), I would let the E11 PVT know that they aren't allowed inside D-Block let alone commanding Gensec. I would then ask them to leave D-Block. If they voluntarily leave after I tell them to and there is E11 CMD on, I'd let them deal with it since it is an SOP and MOTD violation. If there is no E11 CMD on but they still left voluntarily, I would clip whatever evidence I could and would send it to an E11 low command member to use at their discretion. If they continue to order Gensec around in D-Block and no E11 CMD is on, I'd then look to any higher-ranking non-command E11 members to take him out of there and report the infraction to their command members. If none are on, I would be sure to clip the encounter and send it to an E11 low command member. If E11 CMD is on and the PVT didn't leave after I told them to, I would make sure the CMD member knows everything they did, evidence included of course, and leave the rest to the CMD member. Afterwards, I'd probably ask for PTS during a meeting to let Gensec know that they don't need to listen to E11 ever if they are inside D-Block, as they are never allowed inside there. Staff would be called in every instance, as this is an MOTD violation. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: [Faux Script] -> First, congratulations on being promoted to NCO. You've shown enough leadership and activity to be promoted to SGT, and we expect you to keep it up. To begin, you may now call Partial Lockdown and Hands-up Protocol during Defcon 3 in addition to Defcon 2. This is the NCO guide, it's basically everything any NCO needs to know. Link to GENSEC NCO Guide would be provided in chat. I would then walk them through the NCO guide, emphasizing important parts. Next, you can now become a FTO. Speak to any SFTO or higher to be trained. It is required to be in the FTO program to be considered for a Command rank, if you ever choose to apply. Speaking of which, you can now apply for the Warrant Officer rank when applications open. It's essentially CMD tryouts, if you pass the entrance exam and the 1-week trial period you get promoted to 2LT. Also, you are now required to have a forums account. Please click this link - provides link to GamingLight forums home page - and click the button in the top right that says 'Sign up'. It will then ask for you to sign up with your Steam account. Click the 'Sign in with Steam' button and enter your Steam username and password. Then you will need to enter in an email address and confirm it. Once you've confirmed it, you can choose your nickname and your general account and profile settings. That's pretty much it, please remember that you are now expected to exhibit leadership, discipline, activity, and qualities of a role-model more than you were before. From now on, command will be looking for these things from you to be promoted further. Good luck, and keep on doing what you're doing. Gives whitelist. Logs promotion.
  5. Very sad man. To me you are the HOS. I joined only a few days after you got the title but I never felt like you were out of place or didn't know what you were doing. Creamey, for as long as I play on this server, your legacy will remain. I wasnt trying to warn you im sorry lmao
  6. + Support MMF GETS GRAVGUNS YEEEESS
  7. I agree with this, but as a medic myself I'd still love to see more use of Medbay. +/- Support
  8. + Support Active on Gensec, responsible, fits all the requirements Holy app dude, keep it up
  9. +/- Support Tryna do PTs n stuff and I've just saved up about 1.5m, it's kinda the grand prize for the winners. I'd hate for the economy to be reset now because I am one of the people who didn't gamble my way up to millions and I just play on my cc a lot. If this is really gonna happen then I understand but if there's any other alternative then I'd go for that instead.
  10. - Support That is indeed the big question. Whoever turned that gas valve on caused some big problems for you. However, the evidence against you is overwhelming and it does look like the gas was off when you glitched out of your CC. Even if you immediately went back into your CC, glitching through walls is exploiting. I believe you should have either flagged off the job or waited for an admin to take the sit, this was not the best approach.
  11. + Support In lore it doesn’t like to be directly looked at and kinda just disappears at times, so I think it may need like a 966 swep too idk
  12. Jameshi34

    Dect's LOA

    Get those victory royales
  13. F well be waiting for you big boy
  14. Name: Jameshi Rank: RCT Discord ID: Jameshi34#4816 Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:211312778 Ideas for CI: none How do you think command is doing; if you are command how do you think you are performing: CMD is doing fine, they’re pretty chill
  15. + Support I can account for his activity, it's pretty incredible Meets all requirements (SFC+, lvl 55, active)
  16. loa? more like smell oa
  17. Yep, accident. Wasn’t aware there was a 2nd party until after the warning was issued, my bad.
  18. i might be dumb, but why not temp-euclid? personally never seen it used but if its got its purpose then i get it
  19. Name: Jameshi Rank: Captain Current FTO Rank (if applicable): SFTO Current Wardens Rank (if applicable): DHWD Why should you retain your rank (Command ONLY | 150+ words): I should retain my rank as CPT because I am not only one of the most active Gensec, but I also play off-hours, and I fulfill my duties to the best of my ability every day. I hold myself to a high standard through all of my duties and I think I have a strong enough sense of justice to be trusted with this CMD rank. I know, for the most part, what I'm supposed to do and what I'm not allowed to do, but I'm still getting experience and learning from my mistakes, and I'd like to keep doing so. Personally, I think I'm doing a fine job as a CMD member and I think I'll only keep getting better. My combat skills may not be as good as some other people's but they're not bad either. I hold the DHWD position, which in and of itself proves my leadership skills, leadership being an important aspect of each and every CMD member. Any Notes, Questions, or Concerns?: Finally a rollcall
  20. - Support - was my mentor - stars captain - chill and cringe - :{ l8r nerd
  21. Your Name : Jameshi Your SteamID : STEAM_0:0:211312778 Your Rank : MA What is your Level? : 63 Which command member gave you permission? : Infamous, Gordan On a scale of 1 - 10, How active are you? : 8 Are you a Containment Cleaner, and if so, What Rank ? : No Why are you fit for MMF (The longer the better) ? : I believe I am a good fit for MMF because I put my fair share of time into Maintenance, I'm pretty good at combat, I know my way around the facility, and I'm caught up on how to recontain SCPs. It's always nice to chill out on Maintenance and I think being on MMF would elevate the gameplay for me. I'd be good at handling SCP-049-2s, SCP-035-1s, and SCP-008-1s because of my combat abilities I've gained from working my way up the Gensec ranks. I used to be E11 as well so I know my way around EZ and HCZ, and I have edit access on Security's SCP Recontainment Guide so I'd hope I know it well. My fellow Gensec CMD can attest to my activity and dedication, and I'd like to bring that to Maintenance further through being MMF. What do you believe MMF's Purpose is? : To dispose of Biohazard SCPs and to ensure the Foundation is clean of any bodies, bullets, or biohazards.
  22. What is your in-game name?: Jameshi What is your steam name?: [GL] Jameshi What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:211312778 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) No What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) Probably around 8/21/20 What date did you make your forums account?: 8/26/20 Current rank on server (This is a ULX rank ONLY! Not a RP Rank)? Gold How many warns do you have on the server (Show proof with a screenshot)? 2 Have you donated?: Yes What rank are you applying for?: T-Mod Are you staff on another community (BE HONEST)? No Have you read the staff guidelines, you will be tested on it: Yes Timezone: EST Permission (Senior Moderator+ need this): N/A Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum): I'm always looking to help and improve, I feel that as a staff member I'd be able to more effectively do so. I'm very mature when I need to be and I can effectively deescalate situations through verbal communication and simply listening to both sides. I hope my lack of experience doesn't dismay anybody in choosing me for staff. I'm hoping to learn and improve my skills as a T-Mod so I can live up to the expectations set before me. I'm aware of the rules and guidelines set before me and I'm willing to follow them to the word. My activity is much greater than many other applicants as I'm on for anywhere between 4 and 8 hours on weekdays and I can exceed that on weekends and breaks from school. I'm also relatively active during late hours. I'd like to be able to resolve conflicts between players so RP and morale can improve overall. I'm respectful to everyone I come across and I wouldn't lose this aspect of myself in becoming a T-Mod. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: First I would bring both the accused and accuser to a sit room. Then I would get any info from the person who reported. I would request any evidence and would check combat logs to see who instigated. If the accused starts cursing and won't stop after being respectfully asked to stop multiple times, I would give them a verbal warn for staff disrespect and I would proceed to gag them for the remainder of the sit. If it turns out they had Mass RDMed, I would inform them of their mistakes and issue a formal warn for Mass RDM x(however many were killed). I would then call any available Admin+ to come and issue the 5 day ban that accompanies a Mass RDM warn.
