  1. *Nervously sweats being Senior ET and Senior Moderator despite holding no rank within any branch* + Previous ET member. + Warns are of no concern. + Answers are suitable. + Event idea is suitable. -/+ The last time i heard from you was in your previous global resignation. While i am glad to see you back into the community you said in your GR and I quote If your back into the server i presume that those previous issues (hope your doing ok and its all going well) have been resolved? According to your application you state your activity level is a 9 which is quite high in consideration of your reason leaving. Are you able to verify that these indeed are no longer concerns? -/+ Have not seen on the server. Overall, I am going for +Support however, I would like to see a certification to my posed question regarding activity.
  2. Ah, a very interesting answer. I didn't consider that. Good opportunity to dive deep
  3. + Within trusted command positions in the server. + Has experience with components of gamemasteirng which ties into his command position. + Warnings are of no concern. + Raises some fine points in his answer of why he deserves to be ET and I agree. + The event idea is... interesting. While im curious why a member of OSHA would know about the Foundation or get permission to visit otherwise I enjoy your idea. +/- Seen on server but had no interactions with. A good application. Overall, +Support
  4. Firstly, allow me to congratulate you on having the courage for reapplying for ET. It's rare that we see reapplications and to me personally it shows that you are not easily deterred from downfalls and truly shows you are motivated to join our team and speaks volumes on the positives of your personality and potential dedication. A trait that is very much desired within ET. Despite this, I will continue to provide my feedback based purely on this application but wish you the best of luck. + Activity appears to be strong. + No warnings. + Addressed what he has reflected and changed upon his previous declined application. + Event ideas are great in concept. While I notice the lack of explanation of why those events are occurring the planning that went into its design makes up for it entirely and beyond. -/+ While you have accurately explained on your reflection between your previous application and now I feel as if your answer for why you deserve to become ET lacks more about yourself and your personality. You explained well how you will act as an ET and what things you will do as an ET however I believe without knowing who you are as an individual it doesn't give me confidence. -/+ On your previous application you stated that you had almost 2 weeks in playtime however, in this application you changed the format into days since you (presumedly) joined the server. It clouds how much you have improved in activity. - Has not met the 150 word limit for his answer on why he deserves to be within ET. - Once again, no interactions have been made and the lack of community input makes me unsure if this is a timezone issue or not an isolated opinion. Ambiguity can often be a misfortune. However, as you did not pass the 150-word limit which is an application requirement it's an automatic -Support for me. Once again I believe your application has ambiguity in it that doesn't provide me with full confidence. However, the issues in this application are in my opinion fixable. The reason this response is decently long is because, to be completely honest I am very conflicted. Something about this bugs me as I believe your capable in the event team but you struggle to accurately write it and the fact I dont know you doesn't help so I must make my judgement purely from this application.
  5. + Plenty of hours. + Previous ET and apart of its senior team. + Community support + Seen around + Good answers. + Good event idea. - Having both Gaminggoat and Travar as ETs may increase the server crash by 200% Overall, +Support
  6. + Previous ET. + Plenty of hours. + Event idea is uncommon and appreciated. + Warns aren't a issue. + Community Support On a personal note i came to know your build before i knew you. I recall someone had copied your dupe and showed it to me at some point and I was impressed. Overall, +Support
  7. + Exceeds hours required. + Already Staff. + Community support + I enjoy the first idea and can be some good passiverp for researchers. The 2nd suggested event however, doesn't seem feasible lorewise - Warns exist with some being more recent than others, but the more concerning warnings are dated far back and shows remorse for his previous deeds. Overall, +Support.
  8. + Previous ET + Activity is well + Answers are well + Event idea has potential for a good passive event. Get back in here. +Support
  9. + if the switchup in accounts is true then acceptable amount of hours. + No warns + Answers are suitable. + Seen ingame and although interactions are few they have been pleasant. - Im not particularly a fan of your event idea to put it bluntly the potential for it to erupt into a minge fest is high and its difficult to directly command a branch to do an action. You also gotta stop the Foundation from setting a KOS on Maynard. Regardless, I appreciate the effort into it. Although the event idea was a bit bumpy im still confident in supporting this application. Goodluck, +Support
  10. + Well formatted application + Hours and activity appear to be strong. + Already Staff. + Answers are suitable. + Event may be difficult to pull off but shows promise in creativity. + Seen around but have had no interactions with. Overall, you appear to be a good candidate for ET. +Support
  11. - Plenty of hours. - Activity and community engagement seems to be strong. - Event is one of the more thought-out plans. - All answers generally well constructed. - Haven't seen but most likely due to activity. +Support, goodluck.
  12. - 'Why you deserve to be ET' answer is suitable - Has people vouching for him. - Previous ET - Event Idea is lackluster/unrealistic to pull off although I can see where you were going - You said you have no previous experience gamemastering but you were a previous ET right?| - Didn't explain 'why' for the your favorite SCP but not really a main point - Close, but hasn't met 150w limit for 'Why you deserve to be ET' - Incorrectly answered a question (referring to the time played) your level tells me nothing. - Allegedly recently returned to the server so I believe additional time should be spent as Weeb put it refamiliarizing himself - Haven't seen or heard before either due to timezone or recent arrival. Overall, -Support. You have great potential but some minor issues with your application is hindering and for the time being I would like to see you reintegrate yourself back into the community more.
  13. That does sound dangerous (if not a little bit fun). Although I can see that causing unnecessarily lag. Luckily! Yep it can be disabled by the use of some console commands that comes with the addon that remove the explosions.
  14. + Lots of time on the server. - /+ Seen on rare occasions from memory but no interactions despite sharing timezone. - As said previously, grammar and spelling needs work. - 'Why we should allow you to become ET' answer seems to be a knock-off version of 'Describe an Event'. - Event idea unfortunately isn't very entertaining to me. - Didn't accurately explain his warn. Overall, -Support
  15. + Answers are generally well done. + Events are well written compared to expectation. While some I dont believe some of them would be applicable ingame without some heavy editing I like the amount of planning involved in its construction. -/+ Has experience with gamemastering but unsure if his experience can accurately translate into the event team. -/+ Question about your playtime. When did you join the server? 10-13 hours per day seems somewhat excessive and if that is true I would have expected your overall playtime to be slightly higher. If not, you must have joined the server extremely recently. - Haven't seen in the server. You have some things going for you, but the lack of clarification in some areas leave me iffy if your the right individual for the team. -/+ Neutral
  16. + Moderator on the server. + Good amount of playtime and activity. + Openly honest and a well explanation of previous history of warns. + Generally good answers to the given questions. + Event idea may be difficult to pull off effectively but otherwise nice for a example. -/+ Warns are diverse, however pretty old and overlook-able given the passage of time. Overall, +Support.
  17. Morning, unfortunately this document is saying we require access to look at it. Are you able to switch it to public?
  18. I was going to make this fancy with colours but for some reason its not within the writing settings... I can even increase the size of my words... When I joined the server, I went straight into Research and absolutely loved it. I enjoyed making tests, doing tests making test logs it was just something for me. That may seem like a strange thing to say when the point of this is to say my resignation but it was true. I have contemplated this for some time now somewhat fearful due to other resignations but I know that I have lost my previous passion for research and even as I am writing this i am hesitating if this is the correct choice. My sleeping schedule is consistently dying and its causing a negative effect within IRL and ingame and I need to fix this one way or another, by being somewhere that’s more active within my timezone. I apologise but despite knowing other reasons why I have lost this passion I would like to keep them selfishly to myself. I don’t regret being in research or the time I have placed into it. Not at all. I don’t want to quit research entirely. If possible, I would like to go back to being a Lead Researcher instead so I can continue being within the branch by doing trainings and testing. I would like to thank the extensive list of people who got me this far into Research and know that I am grateful for your support. For specific individuals I will most likely PM them or speak to them in person to say my thanks. I wouldn't have made it as far as I have without any of them. I wont be leaving the server, I'll still be around as I am now. I think I just need to see what else the server has to offer and hopefully fits into my timezone better. Thank you all, I hope I continue to see you. o7
  19. What are you suggesting? In a nutshell, I am suggesting a Witcher Gate replacement. Want to reek the benefits of the Witcher Gate without all the nasty lag and server crashes? Want something to crash your Humvees into server crash free? Look no further! May I introduce you to the…. The Displacement Gun! What does it do? The Displacement Gun is an alternative to the Witcher Gate previously implemented and removed from the server last year due to server crashes, lag, and general unreliability. It acts identically in its function in which you can place two portals that players (and vehicles) can enter and be teleported between the two placed portals. It does differ slightly in which the portals are not two ways (but you can swap them thus giving the impression) but otherwise, it's identical to the Witcher Gate with new effects and sounds. How does it work? Glad you asked! It's simple to operate the Displacement gun. Once you spawn it in, you click ‘Reload’ to bring up a small menu in which you change the settings of the gun to your primary and secondary buttons. The settings aren’t complicated to set up or use. For the most part, it's mainly you are deciding which button will spawn in your entrance/exit portals. But you can also change it to swap the portals to make them two-way. Once you spawned your portals in you remove them by clicking the primary/secondary fire function yet again which will despawn the portals in glitter and magic! A video I made demonstrating its use is below. How would this change better the server? - Teleporting large groups of players is a relatively common action in the server. It’s mainly done for two reasons hereby being Events and PTs. The current method is by applying the !bring command while not necessarily incorrect can be ineffective. It carries the usual annoyances and risks of bringing uninvolved individuals or pesky SCPs changing their names in order to be teleported. For PTs and events involving death, the players have to be brought back every time they die. Now, while these are more of an annoyance than an issue this can be solved by the use of this gun. For starters, it brings immersion to events that involve teleportation by placing a portal down in one location players can freely enter/leave the event and adds a mysterious layer to events of not knowing where it goes. ET can actually make portals and apply them to their events. Secondarily, it also lightens the load of ETs performing events not having to bring players back into the event whenever they die assuming it's somewhere in the event sit room. Another reason while it benefits the server is its practical use in PTs. Gensec, for example, performing a PT somewhere else but with this nifty gun, you can shoot an entrance portal into their bunks and exit into the PT allowing deceased individuals or late joiners to tag into the PTs without having to be consistently brought back. It allows for an easier PT or even Masstests. Lastly, it's practical for the server in general. This is an SCPRP in which anomalies are commonplace. We had something similar in the past and it was removed as it didn’t work. This one does, so why not add it? Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. As with all addons this addon has had its issues in the past in damaging certain things. However, these have been smoothed and polished since its first release and I haven't been able to replicate these ingame myself. I have done my research seeing and reading previous suggestions which are about either re-adding the Witcher Gates or suggesting replacements all of which have been declined due to various reasons. In order to not meet the same fate, I will be going over these concerns addressing them directly. "This was removed for lagging/crashing the server" = Have no fear! After thoroughly testing this I can say that lag is to an absolute minimum and no crashes. However, I grant you that this was performed in single-player with no other players. A testing period can be implemented to ensure that it smoothly operates in the server. In comparison to Witcher Gates, this addon generally is more stable in any case. "I shoved a Humvee through them." = Congratulations! This addon also allows the transportation of vehicles however, in comparison to Witcher Gates it's generally more stable, up to the task and doesn't carry the risk of crashing. Although it's rare for vehicles to be spawned in the server anymore anyway. "51 MBs, -support" = Quite right! We want to minimize the addon intake in the server as much as possible. Luckily, this addon is merely 3.1 MBs "I imagine we’d have the same old problems." = You may be right in assuming this. However, from the testing, I have seen and from what the addon claims I strongly suspect these problems are in the past and won't be involved in this addon." "This was on the server before, and it must've been removed for a reason. I think it crashed the server if too many were placed in." = Well have no fear! Only two portals can be placed at a time. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly. "They were removed for crashing the server/conflicting with addons so odds are it won't be added back anytime soon." = This is perhaps the strongest point in its usage within the server. That is, the workshop boasts that it's fully compatible with ghost protection addons which is a relevant addon within our server. This means that (in theory) the chance of it messing with both props and installed addons is low thus dramatically decreasing the likelihood of server crashes and problems, unlike Witcher Portals. Who would this change mostly benefit? - ET, Staff, all branches and players. Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=159271441
  20. - Application is well-done - Plenty of hours played. - High knowledge of SCPRP lore which is good for events. - His answers for the questions are sufficiently detailed and inclusive for all branches. - Event Idea is well. - Haven't seen but this is due to timezones. Overall, +Support
  21. - Nothing is overly wrong with application - Has a good amount of hours on the server. - Have't seen but this is due to timezone differences. - Event Idea is somewhat lacking in depth and functionality. What overly concerns me is that you said the primary reason you wish to join ET is purely for the benefit of your branch for PT purposes and is the reason you got the motivation to apply. While its not the only reason you stated you did say it was the main reason. While in the 2nd half of your explanation was good and redeemed this its left me unsure on if you will focus on Pts for your branch more than events for the server. Overall, -Neutral
  22. In-game name: TrainOverlord SteamID: STEAM_0:0:95000511 Current RP rank in All Divisions (Ex. Senior Medic, Security Officer): Research Supervisor How long have you been an Event Team Member: Since 7/30/21 Have you received any strikes (please give reasons if you remember): N/A How much time do you have on the server? (Press F1): 2 Weeks How well do you know the SCP lore in general?: In general? Quite well, I know pretty much all common knowledge and some more indepth knowledge about the more hidden and unknown aspects of the SCP lore. Overall in a general sense I would place myself at a solid 9. Why do you WANT to become a Senior Event Team Member?: A Chance To Give Something More Well, I could say there are many reasons why I would desire to become a Senior ET member. I would be lying if I said that the additional freedoms and privileges that come with being a Senior ET aren't part of it. While they definitely are they are it's more than just having access to these powers but rather what I can use them for is what truly drives my desire. These additional privileges will be used towards future events of mine. I believe being a Senior ET member will raise the bar for my events and with additional powers will be able to deliver more fun and unique situations to events for the members of the SCPRP community while of course using these additions with care. My desire to be a Senior ET member however isn’t just about the powers that come with it but also the responsibility. Being within the ET I have a high level of dedication and admiration for it which in turn drives my determination to go so far for it in terms of events and this very application. I desire to become a Senior ET member not just because of the additional privileges but because I see it as a chance to give something more to both the Event Team and to the members of the SCPRP community. I strongly believe I am capable of handling the additional responsibilities I may be entrusted with and because of my enjoyment of being a part of the Event Team, it's almost natural I would strive for more. Why should you be trusted to be a Senior Event Team Member?: Activity When it comes to activity on the server and as part of the Event Team I would like to think I do both sufficiently. I am on the server daily often hosting events or simply being on the role. I believe activity is valued as a Senior ET simply because an inactive Senior ET is an inefficient one. What makes my activity as an ET rather high is that I am not on the ET role purely for events but also for preparation of events and experiments for events which sometimes can take time. My events tend to involve building beforehand that further amplify the enjoyment of the events. Some examples of buildings I have constructed by my own hands and used for events can be found in the link below. I should be trusted with the role of Senior ET because my activity is what drives my experience and abilities. (example of buildings) Strikes/Warnings Within my time of being a part of the Event Team, I have never had a strike or given a warning. I believe this shows several points of interest in me being an ET. It refers that I haven’t crashed the server (yet), abused my privileges, or done anything worthy of being given a strike. A good history of strikes/warnings is important for Senior ET as they are granted additional privileges which when given incorrectly can result in consequences on the server and themselves. However, despite this potential risk, my strike history is clean thus I believe I can be trusted with the Senior ET role when also combined with other factors of this application. Event Planning Arguably one of my stronger points and arguably one of the most important factors of being trusted as a Senior ET is the events themselves. My events are not planned instantly but rather always ahead of time and almost always with preparation beforehand in the use of dupes either constructed by myself or found on the workshop. This means that my events aren’t as simple as giving myself a gun and going on a killing spree within the Foundation but rather involve lore, an SCP, and a build to go off it. I find that when I construct something for the use of events (either a room, props, or something similar) the enjoyment and immersion factor of the event dramatically rises which is why I employ it so often. Sure, the construction of the event can take some time (upwards of an hour or more) but seeing everyone’s pure surprise and shock of “Where the hell am I?” is something I enjoy seeing and makes it worth it. My events tend to prioritize the enjoyment of the participants an example would be the creation of illusions of danger. To be more specific let’s say during an event that MTF is being shot at with an M79 escaping into the Foundation. Instead of killing them with the M79, it's more likely I would shoot extremely close to them and allow them to escape under the pretence of missing. Why? Because from their perspective they believe they just escaped death under the skin of their teeth thus creating a memorable moment in the event, a lot more memorable than dying and being stuck under NLR. Escaping an impossible situation is a lot more enjoyable to the players. That’s the type of planning that goes into some of my events and is important when considering event balancing. This isn’t to say I don’t kill or hesitate to kill individuals in events, however. With the added privileges of Senior ET, these experiences can only be enhanced. Something to note is that because events are planned doesn't mean they can't be changed. My events are flexible to be changed which allows my events to be changed significantly depending on the actions of the participants inside. Whenever the participants find another way to do something or do something entirely crazy, I allow it and alter my event to do so. However, that doesn't say there aren't consequences for actions. To recall a previous event to mind, a Foundation helicopter was requesting landing permissions and access to Gate-A over adverts. An unknowing E11 branch shot down the Helicopter resulting in the dangerous anomaly onboard to escape pre-emptively into the Foundation during the crash. My events also tend to be inclusive. Whenever it's D-Class, Research, Gensec, MTF, or CI all branches typically see events from myself in some nature. I believe I should be trusted with the Senior ET role because my events are up to the quality and are inclusive to all parts of the server. Experience Tying up why I should be trusted as a Senior ET is the experience, I have gone through being an ET member up to this point. Since becoming an ET member I have gained a mastery of the ULX system, planning and hosting events of various sizes from passive to mega, and overall gaining a solid foundational knowledge on how to perform my duties as an ET member. I have solidified my dedication and ability to control and adapt to newfound situations in events and unexpected troubles while maintaining the quality of the event. I successfully can delegate roles and manage all situations thrown at me. I only believe that being trusted with the Senior ET roles will significantly raise these experiences and abilities to newfound heights and I welcome the challenge. Have you mastered ULX?: Absolutely. I am familiar with the ULX system and the commands that we as ET use during our events. Oddly enough the one I had most difficulty with was sprint speed for whatever reason but I have a grasp on that now. Are you experienced with planning Mega-Events?: Yes! I recently made and performed one. If you are interested here is the link to the now (public) document https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zKDUFusBKELomLqiSYlNUueIk9Z3Z0F0_WTa4BWjZZM/edit?usp=sharing Give an example of a mega-event: Now, I could make another document like the one above but I promised myself for the sake of everyone reading this application I wouldn’t make it extremely long, so I’ll summarize it to the best of my ability. Let's call it "Patrick Star" To summarize it in sufficient detail, a series of cultists belonging to the Fifthists will infiltrate the Foundation with the intention of building a sacrificial rite within an available room inside LCZ. While this is occurring, similar infills will occur at Ci's base. When the cultists have successfully built their sacrificial rite they will sacrifice their souls to their god which in turn will cause a large black wormhole to appear on the surface. An advert will be made in open communications with little detail with the exception of "When it appears, the world will become a wasteland of doom and destruction". Right on cue, an unknown tentacle creature will begin to appear out of the wormhole at a slow rate (made in percentage % rates over comms). As long as the wormhole remains open creatures from another world will descend upon the server (in the form of zombies) that will attack everyone throughout the Foundation, surface, and CI's base. The overall goal of the server is to stop and close the wormhole before the entity leaves it which is currently protected by a large energy shield. If CI/MTF arrive at the scene of the wormhole they will discover a computer that was set up by the cultists beforehand that is required to be hacked into before they can attempt to stop the approaching entity. When hacked into, the server will discover that to prevent the entity's arrival they must destroy the sacrificial rites that were set up across the server. it is basically a race to disable the rites before the entity leaves the portal with the Zombies slowing them down. The cultists will be reanimated by the entity to protect the rites in order to slow the server down. If the Foundation is successful in destroying the rites the portal will close cutting the entity in half. The half (or %) that left the portal will remain alive however and the energy shield protecting it must be disabled at the terminal. Once disabled surface personnel may open fire at the entity in whatever method successfully terminating it. However, if the Foundation fails and the entity exits the portal it will destroy the site and everything around it requiring an RP reset. It's basically a 'game over' screen of the failure of the site. What do you consider to be the best event you have ever created: I'm going to assume it's cheating to say the mega event. If I’m not considering the mega event I would say overall it's difficult. Different events have different aspects that make them the best. Whenever it be enjoyment, planning, or how it turned out. Throwing one out there, however, I would say this little event here. To summarize the event. MTF bought a unique portal from two anomalous door salesman under the thought that a high-ranking Foundation official was trapped inside the portal injured. MTF forces entered the portal and found themselves trapped inside as the portal itself was a trap. MTF found out that to exit the portal they had to collect 4 ‘cores’ from various trials inside the room. Firstly, they had to survive a few hordes of Zombies in order to proceed. Before proceeding, however, MTF had to offer a 'sacrifice' to proceed. Originally a sacrifice was required however, they opted to take a harder wave of zombies instead which I compromised on. There were 3 trials. Trial of ‘Wit’, ‘Strength’ and ‘Knowledge’. Trial of ‘Wit’ - MTF had to answer 3 increasingly difficult riddles and whoever answered them incorrectly was killed. = They survived the trial and gained the first core Trial of ‘Strength’ – MTF had to kill a large dog-like creature. = They survived with causalities and gained the second core Trial of ‘Knowledge’ – MTF had to answer questions to proceed. = Once again survived granting the third core After overcoming these trials MTF forces had dwelled. They were, however, given the option to bring back the fallen MTF as the consequence of undergoing a significantly harder wave of Zombies. MTF had accepted and their brothers were resurrected. However, the wave was gruelling, and one could argue its worth. Afterwards, MTF had to fight the two demonic creatures. MTF had come victorious however, only 2 had survived the ordeal. The last core was dropped, and the survivors exited the portal leading it to collapse in behind them. What is your Total Amount of Events according to the "Events Hosted" column on the roster?: 15 How active can you be: Same activity as usual so on a daily basis for a few hours. Translation would be an 8 or 9.
  23. MESSAGE FROM RESEARCH COMMAND …OPENING MESSAGE... Research Test Log Grading. " I wonder if Newton was bothered at the fact he got hit by an apple? " Good evening Dr. Bastilone. Seeing new faces and logs in the Research division is always a delight and you are no exception to this. After overviewing your test log I have come to the conclusion it is of 'Average Quality'. Essentially this means that your test log was not fundamentally flawed and ticks the boxes for a basic test log and is, by all means, a good test log however, there is room for improvement. Given this is your first test log this isn't surprising and if this log was to be compared with your peers of similar ranking it would be ranked extremely high. I am impressed. " To go over your log in more depth. The test idea and method were well made and executed and the question of how to terminate SCP-682 is a constant pressure in our ears. Seeing you undertake a test to get to the bottom of this is reassuring at a potential solution being found. Something else to note is that this test is unique in its creation it is rare to see an Interview inside a test log and you have done it at a sufficient quality and I for one enjoy them. Lastly, the results of your test was interesting and you conveyed it well. Moving to some improvements the format could be improved for example, because both SCP-343 and SCP-682 came into contact it can be classified as a crosstest and thus both SCPs should be mentioned in the introduction part of this log (e.g SCPs Involved: SCP-343, SCP-682). Otherwise its a unique take upon the basic format we provide. I recommend you use our ultra safe and compact website (google docs) to create documents as you have more creative freedom in creating logs in it. The background information is short and should include some information on SCP-343. Overall, your test log was exemplary coming from a relatively new Researcher within our division and I am confident you will be able to progress far within our branch and achieve new heights. I am looking forward to additional logs from you.
  24. o7 i appreciate everything man. Take care of yourself and I hope I continue to see you in some way
