GMs are happy to accommodate most every tryout going on within reason. What you as a trainer can do to avoid this trap If you know that your tryout is going to last more than an hour please schedule it at least 1 day in advance. Let me or a Senior GM know about the date and time of the tryout via discord so that I can inform my GMs My Discord: Divide#6112 Some events are announced ahead of time. It is your responsibility as a trainer to ensure that you do not overlap these times. Check the event announcement channel in the Imperial RP Discord for planned event times Ask a GM/ staff to ask all GMs online if they are hosting any events soon using staff chat. If a GM has their name changed to an event character like name ask the GM. These names include but are not limited to: ISB Comms Rebel Jedi etc. What GMs should do *THESE STEPS DO NOT APPLY TO PRE PLANNED/ ANNOUNCED EVENTS* If the event is On Ship the GM running the event should come up to you and ask how much longer the tryout is going to last. If it is more than 10 minutes left the GM should teleport you to the other side of the engine room where it is secluded and block off the fleet buttons If it is Off Ship the GM running the event should come up to you and ask how much longer the tryout is going to last. If it is over 15 minutes left in the tryout the GM will ask if you can postpone the tryout. You are not obligated to do so, however, it is in the best interest of the server to keep events going in order to grow our player base. Try to start the event with an on-ship part to buy time

-/+ Support Being High command, in my opinion, has interfered with your ability to staff at the level required for this promotion. That is not to say that your work as high command is not as important, but more of an understanding that you have chosen to peruse other priorities.

Questions 1. What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : MC HS VCMDR Divide 1738 2. What Regiment are you applying for? Senior Commander 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? I wish to be a Senior Commander so that I can assist in the training and mentoring of new commanders/ vice commanders on the server. I can remember back to clone wars when I had to start from scratch as Yoda and build up the Jedi order. It was not the easiest task when you are expected to have documents made in such a short period of time while still remaining active on the server. I figured out the hard way that doing it on your own leads to a lot of issues in the long run. My hope is to pass on my experience in leadership that I have gained along the way. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? It does not give an exact number however, I have been playing since the server opened. 5. What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The main purpose of a Senior Commander is to mentor and lead both lower command members and officers. You also act as a liaison between different battalions, helping to settle disputes between both command and troops. Your obligation is to the troopers as well as the server. You are to act in the best interest of the player base even when it may hurt the battalion that you represent. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? : I have extensive leadership experience in Star Wars roles such as the Grand Inquisitor on the first Imperial Server, Yoda on clone wars, vice sovereign protector, and most recently Medical vice commander. Through each of these positions, I have become a better leader. I have also been trusted with the rank of Assistant Head Game Master on the server. This not only shows dedication but also proves that the community trusts me in leadership positions. If you look at what the medical corp was when Shaggy, Sega, and I started off compared to its current state you will see a massive improvement in activity and discipline. 7. Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent this because the spawn radius does not care about whether or not the NPCs spawn in the ground or a wall.

Thank you for your input! I agree with your statement about GMs. We as a GM team need to work together to provide the optimal RP conditions. I'd recommend two GMs per large event minimum to ensure that this standard is met.
