What would you like to see: Room additions in the medbay (more specifically a surgery room and a room dedicated to tests/ testing machines) How would it help the server and/or the player base: This would help medical with surgery RP, redacted RP, and RP in general, trying to do redacted RP with the new update is hard because there is no place to bring redacted players and have it private and perform a checkup or surgery, with the old map we would use the surgery room for this but we no longer have one . As for the testing room this would help with keeping things organized we would have a central place for that form of RP to happen, the new rooms are GREAT for for keeping things organized as they separate people but they leave little space for machines that are needed for RP, so instead of going to a sink at the front of medbay to get a new lung you could go to a dedicated place that would look more professional and that would help the RP and this would help the visual appeal to the medbay. Do you think this suggestion will help the server as a whole: I do think that this would help the server because lots of people are redacted not having a separate part of medbay to make the checkup easy would make that hard, if you had to place the whole medbay on lockdown and if someone walked in on accident they would half to be killed and this long procedure would deter people from that aspect of RP and as a result of that medical RP would lose and big chunk of RP. And then the standpoint of surgery RP has been lowered with having a very underdeveloped surgery room that would and has become very cramped during surgery the the previous surgery room was bigger and at times would become very cramped. Both of these parts brought up are server wide with some events evolving surgery RP or I could just be a DT walking in and wanting a checkup or a person that was injured and needs surgery. After a few days and using the new madbay I have found it very hard to do redacted surgery and or checkups as we have no place to put redacted people we would need to kick out all of the lower clearance level people so they don't get killed. And even after kicking people out to the front of medbay they have a window where they can just look in and see that person and that could lower a battalions secrecy factor. (This is a PIC of what I think it could look like [note] testing room would not need doors)

I do apologize on that bit as for the ones that are on the floating as I assumed contact with walls would count as being structurally supported as IRL L brackets on walls do exist in real life and they are capable of supporting the weight of roughly 1,200lbs which covers weight load on a structure. As for the video I was originally told by DOTF that the structure there was okay and then I was told it wasn't why it was wrong just that I couldn't build it again and I haven't built that same CP since I assumed it was called out due to the peak point up top. Picture 4 was immediately taken down after it was mentioned. Pictures 2 and 3 however I don't see that as prop climb I see that as simply building a platform that is accessible via a simple ramp I've seen my DHCE build ramp defenses plenty of time and this was never called out so I assumed this was okay. as for picture one I was eventually told by django that people had a problem with ceiling defenses again with contact against the wall I assumed these types of defenses were okay and I was simply trying to think outside the box in terms of foundation defense. I apologize for this misinterpretation of building guidelines. Picture of an L bracket for a visual representation of what it is.

  3. Understandably its hard to believe, I have been questioned on this many times, and multiple people playing on Imperial off Police asking if I was this person. I have and will always deny it because ive never played police longer then having a funny night with some friends. I honestly dont know what I can do to help you believe that but god honest truth I dont know who this is. I dont even know what to say, cause ive been with imperial for about 1 year and a half and this is just so random. I have a full legal copy of Gmod so I dont understand the family share thing but I most definitely bought my own copy of Gmod, along with many other games. Also never went by the name assault, If there any evidence (Steam info) or further questions about this topic please feel free to contact me. I just dont know what to say

  5. +Support If the creation of D5 eventually became part of the reason to buff CI and nerf the guns, it doesn't make sense to me. The inclusion of D5 does not necessarily mean there will be more MTF than CI on (than before). Just taking a wild guess there though. My thoughts on a better balance: Revert everything. THEN: Adjust CI's health/armour by +10 or at most, +20 (as opposed to the current +50.) CI move in big groups and in my experience I've found that it is an almost equal balance if not biased towards the CI in how many people they encounter while raiding. So, often times they have more firepower against an unsuspecting victim. Where some CI jobs perhaps fell short was on one to one combat where any health/armour discrepancies showed and skill was matched between players. Lower the damage multiplier by a small amount, if not at all. It is complete personal preference that I am not a fan of slow TTK, I find it is frustrating as someone who has played many fast TTK games that revolve first and foremost around skill (Apex, BF4, DayZ). I do not feel the current damage multiplier is suitable. It makes all guns feel pathetically weak, I'd imagine it makes GENSEC want to die even more when dealing with D Class. And, as a favourite of sniper rifles, it has absolutely ruined them for me. There is no satisfaction in using a sniper rifle without its high risk high reward; particularly on the longbow which I have used over the Barrett sometimes, solely for satisfaction from my own mechanical ability. In conclusion, I think these changes were far too drastic for there to be any measurable variable. You have changed two different variables by a large fraction, I don't think it will be very clear as to what you should alter next. What I do know though, is as a result of changing both the HP/Armour and the weapons at the same time, is that for the time that these changes are live it is far more frustrating for the players than it would have been had you made smaller changes to one aspect at a time.

  6. - Support Over the past year I had been on the server I noticed a very aggressive change to combat wherein if you weren't a combatant with 200,200 you were dead. D Class just fucking stomping maintenance in the halls and slaughtering medical staff and just beating the shit out of researchers ruined all fun for none combatants as if you weren't a combatant you were dead. You never had the time to play cause you were always dead, one fuckin D Class could end a room of maintenance. This balance was necessary to bring fun back to all, this isn't just a combat server and while it may need adjusting you may just need to suck it up so everyone can have some fun doing what they want to

  8. -support So the reason why it was changed is easy to understand and don't know why it hasn't been said yet lol. Over the past years, mainly recent months, HP/Armor have gone through the roof. It was getting to where classes that were 200/200+ were getting to the norm. Well that also made fights unbearable as most guns could still 1 shot you or take an entire mag to kill you. Either way it was pretty stale. So what needed to be done was a 'tactical reset' of the buffs so we could still continue to grow, aka if this wasn't changed no branch update was going to allow HP/Armor buffs, which would make all updates stale and would just be boring. So what was done was this 'tactical reset' for the time being, aka this is not permanent, this is only for the time and will allow hcmd to make branch up-dates which are more exciting again and will allow for wiggle room. This is also needed to change up the combat meta to spicen things up. Is it the best, not really but what else we had was even worse, so this will also hopefully create hope for future changes. If everything was perfect than it would be hella boring, which is why things need to be broken at times in order to fix it. Also not to mention Nu7 was always meant to be lower than E11 and CI, it is suppose to be closer to security HP/Armor than E11, just saying. Not that I like seeing Nu7 like this but their not meant to be able to compete against CI or E11 1on 1, gotta think of it as E11, Nu7, Security, and now D5 VS CI and D-class and than it becomes more clear.

I'm going to be straightforward to everyone arguing in this room yes i agree with some of you that i am strange and i never word my jokes the best but this entire argument has gotten a bit out of hand guys I don't even have much interest to go far in staff that is not my goal my intention is just to help not start this crazy fight there's many players like myself who cant do certain things during the extremely late hours that's mostly due to work and why I've applied to begin with I understand some of you guys outright hate me and i respect and thank those who supported me but being transparent in this statement i only have to say this you can never be sure until someone is given the chance to try to do something out of common sense why would i even abuse the power if it was handed to me? with how medal and killlog are a thing id have to be a outright idiot to misuse the power the purpose of leadership is to help and grow not act uncertain and be upset over things that really aren't a thing to begin with to those who -support me i understand you dislike me and im here to say one thing i respect your decision what I don't respect is being continuous about a issue already spoken about the past is the past if I'm not allowed to help then fine i understand the thesis on both sides but in the true honest end I'm not sure if i would even take it if it was offered now whether I'm in or not i will accept the result and move on lastly, those who hate me and dislike me my dms are always open and im more then happy to resolve any issues you may have with me or misunderstandings and understand ill take your criticism as long as its constructive and informative thank you P.S: i dont expect most of you to do that but my door is always open im not going to let this consume me no matter how ugly the comments get

  12. This would be unbalanced as those 40 people online are mostly AFK players and SCPs could just run freely with barely any foundation staff on. -support, I'm sorry that your situation is as it is, but we can't allow SCPs to run freely, causing havoc

  13. +support A CI raid happened yesterday which thanks to the change was broken, golden golf clubs and HP differences should be be able to destroy all of MTF. This change from a full day of playing caused from what I can tell some of the worst experience for players. I enacted my reserves yesterday just after the change and have never heard so many complaints from all sides, a change like this doesn't need time, its an instant change which has instantly shown its flaws, I personally did not enact my reserves to be beaten to death with golden golf clubs in a CI raid because somehow the weapon is more common then a kitchen knife and does more damage then a fucking bullet. Snipers are useless, shotguns are now also useless and medium range weapons may as well not exist. 8 shots of a nova at point blank on a not moving target is disgusting, 6 headshots with an AWP is just as bad. Combat shouldn't be so slow and unbalanced. I really feel that this server needs some inspiration from how FPS games succeed. If anything the issue here is that damage was lowered 40% which makes gun fights 40% longer, however HP levels were brought down by about 5% for some classes and for classes like operative / base faction class by about 30%... These changes need to be reverted and a serious change with community feedback, and oversight needs to be made. One of my biggest issues with this change was that it affects literally all players on the server, even SCPs. Yet only high command get the news before it happened? The average player was not informed and a decision was left up to be made by people out of their line of communication.

  14. Here is my proposition for the suggestion; for whenever Xyank does look at 096 if xyank teleports away he must start adverting his location every 30sec-1 minute. This would best support roleplay that 096 knows where his victims are at all times while also allowing Xyank to use his weapon teleporter thing.
