GMT How many Warns do you have? 2 (LINK) Permission: Commissioner Matthew 1K-25 Why should you be promoted: I believe I am ready to be promoted to the rank of Colonel as I think I have and excel in all skills and attributes needed for Colonel. Below I will further explin why I think I am ready for it. My first reason as to why I should be promoted is I am mature and always show everyone respect. Whatever the situation may be I always act mature and show respect to everyone whether they are involved in a situation with me or not. I also show a great amount of professionalism and do my best to be a good role model for the lower ranks. Whether I be doing a traffic stop, negotiating with hostage takers or just talking to the general public I always maintain professionalism. To add to that I also strive to ensure PD are doing their jobs correctly. Another reason I feel I should be promoted is because of my experience in being a Command Member in both PD and another department. An example of my experience (excluding PD) would be holding a position as SCO19 Chief Constable. Every week I deal with reports, answer questions, run meetings and training and make sure everyone is doing their job properly. I also excel in communicating with large numbers of people and getting my point across to them which is helpful for situations such as PD Meetings.. In Conclusion, I feel I am ready to be promoted to Colonel as I am Mature, Respectful, Professional, have good communication skills and I have much experience being a Command Member.
