  4. [In-Game Name] [GL] Anomaly [Call-sign] DT SN03 [Rank] 2LT [Which lore squad member are you applying for] I am applying for the position of M36. [Why do you believe you deserve this position] I do not believe that anyone deserves anything, however I do believe that everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves. And that's what I want to do. I want to prove myself that I am worthy of TI-23 and moving up in the server not just as a DT but among other things as well. I have past medical experiance though that was some time ago, but I believe it is worth mentioning. I am a very active community member on the server as DT and as a SGM and Admin. As far as DT goes I have achieved the Officer rank through trials and even though I've been knocked down I've always gotten back up and striven to be better and continue on as a DT. Many people say failure is the best teacher and I believe I have proved that I am a capable DT and an efficient leader. I am a determined, hard working, individual and I don't give up or get mad if things go wrong. I take it in stride and work to better myself so that I can learn from it, and when the time comes, pass on what I have learned to those who may need the same help I have once needed. I always hit my quotas and am always ready to help anyone in need who wants help or wants advice. I am a very active member of DT and the server and I am dedicated and hard working as a DT officer but also as Staff and GM. [Why do you want to be a part of Unit TI-23] I want to be a member of TI-23 for a few reasons. One reason is I like to challenge myself, and I enjoy a challenge. I want to work in DT and grow as a member of DT and as a person. TI-23 is regarded as the best of the best of the best and for good reason. Not only is the TI-23 selection process difficult but the members are held to a high standard. I want to continue to push myself and see what I am capable of. Another reason I want to join TI-23 is because of the camaraderie. Members of TI-23 work in an extremely close knit unit, and are expected to know each other's thoughts and movements like the back of their hands. This tight knit squad based group acts as a second family and many of the members in TI-23 are close friends of mine. To be a member of TI-23 is to act as one, to be a family and to never abandon your brothers or the mission. This close knit structure appeals to me even more so than regular DT does as it is an even tighter knit group than DT. Working together as a team, in small units is something that appeals to me and the structure of these scenarios is appealing and fun to me. I want to be the best DT I can be and I believe TI-23 can help me do that. [What does Unit TI-23 do] The Death Trooper Unit TI-23 is an elite lore based squad within Death Troopers. Each member of DT has a specialization and they are expected to use that specialization to complement each other on and off the battlefield to form a cohesive unit. Without one member of TI-23 the unit suffers as each member has a special task and job to do that allows the unit to perform at peak efficiency for any missions given. F-16 is the squad leader of TI-23 and is equipped to lead the squad through any mission, any time any where. F-16 is equipped with one of the specialty's from each squad member. C-37 is the Squad's close quarters expert and is equipped to handle threats that close in for CQC fighting. Armed with the DP-23 Shotgun, flashbang and a shield, C-37 is designed to get in close and hold the line while dishing out punishment in return. M-36 is TI-23's Medical expert. While not overly armed, M-36's main utility comes in keeping the squad and the VIP alive and well in the heat of battle. M-36 is equipped with a Booster Bacta kit, and an armor kit as well as a squad shield to provide extra cover if needed. L-21 is TI-23's Demolitions expert and engineer. Equipped with the DLT-19 heavy repeating blaster L-21 can lay down sustained covering fire for other members of the squad. L-21 is also equipped with explosives such as thermal denotators and detpacks. L-21 also has the extra utility of being able to place down fortifications as cover and use the fusion cutter to hack doors. V-07 is Ti-23's designated marksman. V-07 comes equipped with the E-11S sniper rifle as well as a deployable shield to provide cover during sniping. With all members working together in unison TI-23 is equipped to handle any challenges or missions that come their way. [How active can you be] I am a very active DT member I'd like to think most everyone has seen me around and seen me as both DT and as GM or staff. I am on for a few hours at least 5 days a week minimum though I am often on for much longer periods of time. [Do you understand that if you are accepted into Unit TI-23, you will be on a 1-strike system] Absolutely understood.
  5. +1, perhaps even do the same for the Admin job. Allows ISB to be able to get onto the DB room for public DB's without having to fly or anything. Also helps with Passive RP as they have LVL 4 clearance to a point.

    Happy Birthday my blue boiu
  11. +Support!! I've known Maroon for awhile, he is very active and a nice guy. As far as his leadership skills go and how he performs in 501st I don't know really since I'm not in those battalions but I always hear nothing but good things and I've never had any issues with him. Besides that the Application is well written and detailed. He has a good understanding of what a VCMDR should be and has a plan on what he wants to do. He wants to revive JT which in itself I feel is a worthy goal. He also has a ton of experience in 501st and I believe he deserves this shot at VCMDR.
  12. In-Game name: DT SN03 SteamID: STEAM_0:1:11475939 Rank: SGM How long have you been in your current rank?: Just over a week What experiences in leadership do you have?: I have experience in leadership on other servers, most notable to me is a CWRP server named BLN where I was the ARC Vice Lead. On other servers I have experience leading as low officers or NCO's. While it doesn't translate exactly the same as a battalion officer, I think Head GM for a server is something worth mentioning. Some of the many traits such as leadership, understanding, teaching, taking others into account and helping them out is all things that I've learned from those servers. While battalion leadership is different, those traits remain a core tenet of leading others. On GL itself I have experience leading as an NCO helping the officers of DT lead and taking control of missions when no officers are around to do so. With more time in DT under my belt I also have gained more leadership experience in DT as a whole and on the server. By now I am a Senior Gamemaster on this server and have been in that position for some time. Why do you want to be an officer?(150+ Word minimum) I want to be an officer for a few reasons which vary. The main reason I want to be an officer would have to be that I love DT and I want to help DT grow and flourish. Our Command team does amazing work and I want to help them keep what I believe is the best battalion on the server at top form. Wether that be trainings, SIMs, tryouts, or any other form of help needed I want to keep helping DT. Another main reason for this is I want keep pushing and challenging myself not just as a DT trooper or a player but as an individual and I see the Officer Corps as the next logical step in this regard. I believe I have a good grasp on what needs doing as an NCO and want to now take the next step. Sadly many of our beloved DT officers have left for one reason or the other recently. I want to step up and do my part to help fill the void that is left over. I push myself to be better and better and take any talking to or failure as an opportunity for learning and growing as a person. I think that is a good trait for an officer to have as well as the ability to listen to and help the lower ranks with any issues. Listening attentively and caring about people's problems within the battalion is a good way to foster trust and respect between Higher and Lower ranks and as an Officer I want to help bridge that gap between DT Command and Enlisted. To listen to and then help others succeed is something I very much like to do and being an officer will help me do that. Regardless of what happens I will continue to push myself to excel in whatever current role I have been given. Being an Officer is a big responsibility and I think I am ready to come back to the Officer Corps of DT. What makes you stand out amongst the others?(130+Word minimum) As an individual I believe I stand out from other candidates because I already have leadership experience from other servers. Having been a battalion Commander in the past I know what leadership should look like. I think I've done good work as an NCO and have the in's and outs of being one down. I always hit my NCO quota and as an officer I will not only hit my Officer Quota but also want to continue doing tryouts for the battalion as a whole as this is a time that such tryouts are sorely needed with us having low numbers. I have not just helpful but fun SIM's and trainings for everyone to participate in. Things like teamwork building trainings and morale boosting trainings are good for battalion cohesion as a whole. I also am a very easy going and friendly person to talk to and like to help people no matter who they are or what they need help with. If someone needs someone to talk to about something I have no issue doing so and helping them out and I keep that same mindset for officer and NCO duties. I like to think I am understanding and helpful person as a whole and no matter what happens here I will continue being so. Another reason I think I stand out is my willingness to learn from mistakes and grow from those. We as people, grow when we face challenges and making a mistake is not necessarily indicative of a bad person or a failure. I learn from past failings and grow as a person with each one and I want to extend that to all those around me. If someone is making a mistake it may be best to gently nudge them in the correct direction instead of taking a hardline punishment stance though obviously there are cases where punishment may be needed. In the case of myself I have made some mistakes in DT and in the Officer Corps but now I believe I have learned and grown enough to return to the Officer Corps as a better DT and a better Officer Proper. Do you understand that if you fail to meet the expectations of an officer you can be removed from your position? Yes Do you understand that receiving a strike will result in an immediate demotion? Yes
  13. PLUS SUPPORT!! Onlos is always helpful and i've heard nothing but good things about him from Medical members. He always doing his job and is a nice guy to be around. He also has prior experience given he has been helping medical sort things out for some time.
