Link to new pack(s): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2089095556&searchtext=hilt+ability+extension&insideModal=0 How would this benefit the server (will it help events or is it purely for decorations and how?): This extension allows any lightsaber with the Inquisitor Hilt to access three new force powers being a Hold to Spin, a Toggle Spin and Flight. These are exactly how the Inquisitor sabers worked in lore, being able to spin around the circular guard. Would be cool for players to see the IQ Lore doing the one thing they are known for, as well as provide incentive to people to join and rank up through IQ with the hopes of being able to do it. Having the system based on the Inquisitor Hilt, this gives us opportunities to possibly add it to new or existing jobs and allow non-IQ Lore to use it down to road if we ever deem that necessary. Do you believe the benefits exceeds the risk of adding more content to the server (risking loading times and possible performance) and why?: The addon is 0.011 MB in size, so that is near negligible, and the effects on the server would be minimal, as it is just another instance of an ignited lightsaber, and may be slightly more taxing on the server, however only IQ Lore, High Inquisitor and the Grand Inquisitor would have access to it, meaning it could not be overly abused.

Battalion Name: Purge Job/Class Name: Purge: Fireteam Spectre Model Path: models/player/zephyr_chimaera_troopers/chimaera_overseer.mdl https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2818702113 **Requires compression/extraction Will only be using the Overseer model (second from the left) and primarily the White bodygroup, with Red being for Command. Weapon Kit: E11-T - ( rw_sw_e11t ) Electrostaff - ( tfa_purgeelectrostafffx ) DC-15S - ( rw_sw_dc15s_purge ) DLT-20A - ( rw_sw_dlt20a ) DC-19LE - ( rw_sw_dc19le ) DC-17 (Purge) - ( rw_sw_dc17_purge ) Cross Arms - ( cross_arms_swep ) Binoculars - ( rw_sw_bino_dark ) Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): Yes, this is a special forces job and should have a loadout that reflects this. The E11-T is a fairly unique blaster and isn't a staple of any other battalions. The Electrostaff is essential to Purge, as it is their main counter against Jedi. The DC-15S is a fast-firing, low damage gun that excels at draining force power and overpowering lightsaber users that are blocking. The DLT-20A is a sniper, which extends the operating range of the unit. The DC-19LE represents a stealth weapon, also being quite powerful, if the user can hit their target. The DC-17 is a simple sidearm, which is something most units possess. The loadout size and specialization is comparable to the Purge Officer job, but with more powerful weapons to reaffirm the advanced nature of this job. Health: 800 Armor: 250 Reason for health/armor changes: This is slightly more HP than the Command and Brawler job, but still reasonable as Purge are constantly engaged with Jedi, who deal loads of damage. Since the job is extremely limited, it will not create any imbalances or unfairness especially given the role this job represents. Description (Optional): Fireteam Spectre is a highly trained Special Forces unit. You must be selected by Command to be trained and become part of the Fireteam. Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: The entire Inquisitorius branch does not have any representation within the Special Forces section of the server. Purge also has only two subbranches and one donator job that are all accessible as an Enlisted. This new job will give Senior NCOs and Officers something to achieve as well as represent the Inquisitorius in the Special Forces. Requested Job Slots: 6 **Note: The name Fireteam Spectre was winning name in a poll of names offered to High Command and Purge/IQ Command. This name was selected as it is another word for ghost, which represents the stealthier, and more threatening presence of the job as well as representing the white markings that covers the armor. The word 'Spectre' also means "something widely feared as a possible unpleasant or dangerous occurrence" which is a fitting description to have affiliated with a Special Forces job.

-=Section 1=- ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ In-game Name: Field Commander Vertigo Steam Name: Vertigo Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:531657396 -=Section 2=- ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ What is the role of Darth Vader? Oversight: Vader should work alongside Palpatine and Thrawn in managing and overseeing the High Command team. Allowing High Command to learn and problem solve on their own is beneficial, and Vader as a member of SHC should help with guidance and mentorship to High Command to help them to be the best they can be. Vader’s role is important as command takes a domino effect, so keeping High Command sharp and skilled, while providing occasional assistance and advice will translate down to Low Command and into their battalions. Leadership: SHC have gone through the ranks and they have proven skills as leaders. It is crucial to have these important figures display leadership, both in RP as well as leadership behind the scenes within the High Command team. Being a role model is a part of SHC, and good leadership will trickle down to Command and officers and generate more independent and confident Command teams. Roleplay: Darth Vader is possibly the most iconic Star Wars character, and people immediately associate Star Wars with Darth Vader. As Vader, you get to be a role model and someone everyone looks up to. Vader has direct ties to several battalions on-ship, and I think having Vader interacting with your battalion as an enlisted would be a great experience and something to keep people on the server. Being SHC and second only to the Emperor, Vader has plenty of authority and importance within roleplay, making time spent on server being very important to the position. Presence: Darth Vader should be actively engaging with all three branches, both in-game and within Discord and Teamspeak. Working alongside them to make improvements or updates is important, but interacting with battalions can also create good experiences between Vader and players on the server. Whenever a Vader is active, guarding battalions and especially 501st boom with activity because of Vader’s presence. Having Vader extend to all battalions could have the same effect of increasing overall activity. Why do you want to become the role of Darth Vader? I believe I have accumulated enough experience and skill to be able to fill the role of Vader. I think I have ideas and a fresh perspective I can bring to the other two branches, which I haven’t interacted with on a more than surface level. I want to learn as much as I can about the battalions which I haven’t had much interaction with, and bring a new perspective to SHC and to the other two branches. I want to push myself further and improve as a member of High Command while trying to do the same for my peers. Making this server even more active, immersive and engaging is a big goal for me. The position of Darth Vader would allow me to expand my skills and gather new ones, along with bettering myself and in turn, the server as a whole. We haven’t had a Vader in months, and it’s something that positively benefits the server in a huge way, and I want to be part of that. I think I would have a lot to offer the server in this position. What experience do you have that would be relevant to the role of Darth Vader? Purge Vice Commander (7/17/21 - 9/4/21) My first battalion ever was Purge, and after a few months I ranked up to Vice Commander. I joined a decent command team, with people like Myan and Dank, who were both great mentors. Throughout my time as Vice Commander, we had several command resign with no one to replace them immediately. Dank was promoted to High Inquisitor and I was the sole Purge Command at the time. I managed to maintain the activity levels until we got a second vice commander to help out. I think this was very important as it forced me to solve my problems instead of just asking a superior what to do. In August 2021, I had the highest logging count of 42 and always logged over 20 activities in the month. I also made my first document, the Purge Heavy Training, which is still the document we use today, just updated further. Purge Commander (9/4/21 - 10/10/21) August was a huge month for Purge, as we averaged far above our previous activity, so my goal as Commander was to beat our August numbers. I had a great vice command team, as well as some solid officers who were integral to our activity. This is also when I began to play on Fifth Brother and interacted with IQ much more closely. Through this was also my introduction to Royal Guards, being guarded and interacting with their Command and Officers, trying to learn how they run things. Purge had another great month in September and this benefitted the branch as a whole, with much more crossing over between RG and IQ with Purge, on missions and sims I would host for all three branches of Inquisitorius. Purge Senior Commander (10/10/21 - 11/1/21) After two good months for Purge, I was moved up to Senior Commander. I continued to work more closely with RG and IQ, as well as maintaining Purge and continuing to improve the activity. It was also this month when my command team and I reached our personal record of 28 Purge online, which we were very proud of. My time as Commander and Senior Commander was fairly short, but my focus on improving our officer and command team created good officers and command, some of which formed into parts of our current Purge command team. Being part of some changes to the battalion, such as the rework of the Flametrooper into the current Combat Specialist and reworking or refreshing every Purge doc, including all our tryout/training docs that we still use today. I feel at this point I had done nearly everything I thought was possible for Purge, and luckily the Field Commander job was created. Field Commander (11/1/21 - Present) Over my time in High Command I learned a lot. Combining my experience from Purge command with the knowledge and experience gathered by my fellow High Command at time, I felt I was ready to branch out and take a larger role within Inquisitorius. My first assignment was RG, which I was familiar with, but I was far from educated on how they run and how different they were from Purge/IQ. I took this time to learn and understand, and become acquainted with RG. In my time as High Command, I brought forward some updates such as loadout changes for Purge on multiple occasions, as well as working alongside the rest of IQHC in adding the ranks of Elder Guard and Centurion Guard. My biggest update was the addition of the IQ Assassin job, which is still frequently used and massively helped Inquisitor activity to increase. I did more document updates, keeping everything up to date and adding things as needed. Up to the current day, I’ve been part of many overall improvements to Inquisitorius as a whole and have worked hard to maintain our activity. Why do you think I should pick you over other applicants? I am the fourth-longest standing member of High Command behind the two members of SHC and current Grand Inquisitor Name, so I’ve been within High Command for 8 months, and spent the last 4 months as equivalent to High General/High Admiral. Over the last eight months, I had been in High Command with many former players and I learned a lot from them. Some of those members include the current SHC, who I’ve been working alongside for those last 8 months within High Command. I think experience is a very important trait and would further benefit the position. Darth Vader is the leader of the Inquisitorius Program within the Empire, so I think my origins as Purge Command and Inquisitorius High Command would be important for Vader to interact with Inquisitorius more and coming from a place of understanding would help. Previous Vaders haven’t come from IQ, so they didn’t engage with us as much as the other two branches, so I would attempt to give each branch an equal amount of attention, with a focus towards 501st, being Vaders main priority. I believe one of my strongest traits is communication. I constantly try to engage in discussion in Discord and Teamspeak with High Command, as well as specific battalion command. Discussing and providing counterpoints to things can help iron out issues before we implement or add certain ideas. Communicating with fellow SHC down to Low Command to keep everyone in the loop and informed on plans and ideas to get as many opinions and perspectives on these ideas as possible. Please outline some ideas that you could bring to improve the server as Darth Vader: Something I’ve always wanted to see was Medal Ceremonies. Within the Empire, there is a massive list of commendations and medals that can be earned and given. After we’ve finished a storyline of missions, we can host a Ceremony to award medals to some of the outstanding troopers, officers and command. Some of these medals were for small accolades, and some were so important that they would be given by the Emperor himself. It would be extremely beneficial to people as it would give the same rush as a promotion and it would be something that the trooper would be able to hold onto for the duration of their time on the server. Medals and commendations could become part of applications, and would be taken into consideration for promotions as they are a recognition of skill, bravery or leadership. These could also be extended to well performing command teams and even whole battalions. People love recognition of good work, and to do it publicly and to have it mean something would be valuable to players who seek earning medals. I’d like to bring more lore and meaning to missions and events. All three branches contain lore characters that have important ties to Star Wars lore. We have made several High Command storylines, but I’d like to make them long drawn out and much more in depth. Storylines that last for weeks or even months, that continue and follow a story that is constantly changing. The most recent High Command storyline was an excellent beginning for what I envision, but I think we can integrate more characters, planets and experiences to immerse the server even further into Star Wars. Some examples are as follows: The Mimban Campaign: Taking place in 10 BBY on Mimban. Imperial forces fought hard to gain control of the planet for vital resources. The Campaign was trench-based warfare that is something we haven’t done much on the server. Ultimately after many support runs and interception missions, the troopers on-board the ISD would be dispatched to participate in the final battle and claim victory over the Mimbanese Liberation Army. The Gorse Conflict: Taking place in 11 BBY, the Gorse conflict is a unique story as Rebels Hera Syndulla and Kanan Jarrus and the rest of their small rebel cell joined with the Empire to defeat Count Denetrius Vidian, who planned to detonate the entire moon of Cynda to prevent the Empire from claiming its valuable resources for building starships. Could include small scale assassination attempts on the Count, as well as ground assaults and orbital support, before the ultimate victory for the Empire. The Great Jedi Purge: There are many intriguing storylines following the Inqusitorius such as the Hunt for Eoth Koth, a Jedi who has a Force-Sensitive child, as well as the Rogue Inquisitors, who were two Inquisitors that defected from the Order. Many Jedi and rogue Force users to use and go more in depth than some nameless Jedi that gets executed after a brief interrogation. Large scale continuous battles would be super interesting and having a recurring theme to missions and events is much more engaging. Setting them in real events can cause people to do some research and learn about the conflicts, as well explore the main storyline that is happening at the same time as our missions, but from other points of view. Creating mission logs for the forums is something I'd like to see more, I have made one and they don't happen much, especially for major storylines they would be great to fill in the gaps of the storyline for those who missed some of the missions. I also want there to be a sense of difficulty and failure, since winning every single battle doesn’t accurately represent lore, the Empire as strong as they are, cannot win every single battle. There are many Campaigns to choose from, but I think these are three solid ones that combine things from lore but allow us to put our own spin on them, even if they don't make perfect sense within actual Star Wars canon. A third and final idea I have is for a new priority list for Reconnaissance. The specifics of the list would be up for discussion, but I think jobs such as Scouts, Storm Commandos, IC, IF and ARC could be used to go down to a planet before the main force to scope out the area and report back their findings. Some of these jobs already have a “recon” type role, but using a recon team and having them relay information back to us would be better for roleplay and can provide our mission with additional briefing material of the lay of the land on planet from the Recon leader. -=Section 3=- ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ In your personal experience with being a player, what issues have you come across? I think the largest issue this server has is communication. I’m sure you’re sick of reading about it, but it’s the most important thing to this server. Ideas, concepts and plans need to be conveyed and shared between command. Making decisions without getting feedback or informing people can hurt. Many previous and even some current command I’ve worked with struggle to communicate and it negatively affects the entire process of discussion and decision-making. Another issue is confidence. Command sometimes struggle to make decisions on their own. This trickles down to officers too. Command are chosen because we trust their abilities, and want to see them take initiative. I think we need to offer more positive reinforcement to everyone, and guide and advise those who need it. New command need someone to look up to and someone they are comfortable coming to for help. In response to the question above, how would you handle and fix these issues? I think the best fix for communication is just to encourage the leaders such as Commanders and High Command to inquire about their peers work and figure out what they are doing. Getting the conversation started is the hardest part, but once that’s done, it’s smooth sailing. Having small pre-meetings for Command and Officers to share ideas and update everyone on plans could help, as well as semi-frequent reports on the status of the battalion, just to keep everyone informed. Confidence is a pretty simple fix too. Positive reinforcement does wonders for motivation and telling people they are doing a good job encourages them to continue. At the same time, if the server is generally more positive and encouraging, this will limit the amount of toxicity and problems between members of the community. Having players who feel like they are being noticed for their work is important to keeping up morale, and instead of belittling and being stern with struggling members, trying to take a uplifting approach first might be better suited, before resorting to being stern. Lift up the weaker links and help them become strong links instead of leaving them and just waiting for them to leave or become demotivated and eventually removed. Anything else you would like to add? First of all, thank you for reading my application. I believe that I still have a lot more to offer as IQ High Command, but I also believe that I meet the qualifications for this position. I may not be the most obvious choice or the most qualified candidate, but I hope that I’ve made my intentions clear that I plan to work hard and improve this server regardless of what rank I hold. Once again, thank you.

The virus seemingly attempts to influence the trooper and even take over their motor systems to carry out its agenda. Staff Sergeant Kurio will be posthumously awarded a Cross of Valor for his fearlessness and sacrifice. Range increase for the vibro blade [Accepted] [In Progress] [Completed]
Vertigo334 replied to Bub's topic in Archive
+ Support Vibroknife rolls this thing in a 1v1, saber blades are always wonky with hit registration, and lengthening it even a little will bring it more in line with other weapons of similar price point. Would also look cooler since the blade is currently shorter than the guard thing on the hilt, so making it a little longer will make it look more like an actual weapon instead of a UV flashlight. -
Cheers man, was a pleasure working with you, best of luck with the future.
