In-Game Name: Sato SteamID: STEAM_0:0:15617858 Current Rank: Major How long have you been in your current rank?: 24 Weeks and 5 Days What timezone are you in?: CST How many Warns do you have?: 2 Permission: Deputy Commissioner Solomon 1K-7 Why should you be promoted (200 words Minimum): To begin, I would like to talk about my experiences as Low Command. Since being given the opportunity to become a Lieutenant I have interacted with so many amazing people and created so many meaningful moments. I try to be an open individual and allow people to reach out to me with whatever they need help with; From training CDT's since we began doing it again to teaching OFC's how to drive, engaging in serious roleplay with everyone I really enjoy it all. Among the many moments that holds a special place in my heart include serious roleplaying and teamwork from both criminal and gov side of things. I hold the belief that the senior most members of Low Command are very much a model to the rest of the department. When I am on often early in the mornings there tends to be little command members on to simply play on the job. As most people know me by my role in PD, I like to hold a high standard for maturity and professionalism. I hope that if I stick to it and make sure everyone that may look up to me is provided an amazing experience and want to return to playing on the server then my job is accomplished. I enjoy fulfilling my role as a Major and the step up to Colonel is an ambitious one but I am ready to take on the responsibility. You agree that disobeying any rules set by High Command will result in an immediate demotion (Yes/No): Yes

I can agree with this idea. The only proof of burden is on the many police officers with video evidence, or require an advert. I have seen a few adverts like "ALL GOV LEAVE BANK/LEAVE AREA". If a negotiator gets kidnapped after that, then it's definitely against the rules. In the very niche case where no blame could fall onto the kidnapper (Whether due to confusion, or people talking, or it not being a rule at all) then video evidence is the only thing probable to move forward with discipline.
-
What you want to see? - It should be against the rules to kidnap a negotiator. Why should we add it? - A loophole is created when a negotiator is demanded to be alone, and government complies. Once the negotiator is in a RP situation and can not be protected by government because of rules, they should not be allowed to be kidnapped. What are the advantages of having this? - Removes a loophole being used recently. Who is it mainly for? - Government Links to any content - N/A

In-Game Name: Sato SteamID: STEAM_0:0:15617858 Current Rank: Major How long have you been in your current rank?: 12 Weeks and 5 Days What timezone are you in?: CST How many Warns do you have?: 2 Permission: Deputy Commissioner Solomon 1K-7 Why should you be promoted (200 words Minimum): To begin with this application, I would like to note the impression that High Command has given to me over these last few months. When they gave me my first opportunity to join Low Command I had taken it. I would essentially end up as a Lieutenant just as we switched maps, kind of marking a turning point for me in the community. Now, as we return back to Rockford, I think it is great timing to go for Colonel. Since that time I have seen dozens of people move through the ranks, many people retire and leave, and those that are now in Command too. Many of those people are my friends and have supported my decisions. Also, when anyone seeks help I feel proud to be a person that individuals feel like they can come to. I try to remain very independent and I refuse to take sides often. I think this is very useful for a Colonel position. Throughout all the incidents that I have dealt with as Low Command I find that it makes me want to do more. Whenever I have been asked to complete a task, do a job, I attempt to do it immediately and to my best of abilities. This refers to me being on and doing training for CDT's, riding around with OFC's to teach them, hosting meetings, helping copy SteamID's for the new whitelist system, and generally dealing with reports. It is all so much fun to me. Activity is very important in the eyes of most people, and I am glad to say that I dedicate a lot of time (Especially early in the mornings with few Command on) to just get on PD so that it will trickle down and more people will be inclined to hop on. Enlisted and Supervisors definitely like when they see command on, and feel better when someone is at least active, I enjoy fulfilling this role. Although I am not active High Command in other departments or staff, I find focusing on solely PD far more easy this way. You agree that disobeying any rules set by High Command will result in an immediate demotion (Yes/No): Yes

What you want to see? - Changing your name to join an event mid-RP situation should be NITRP/FailRP. A warnable offense could be someone adding Event in their name while arrested and traveling to DOC. With proof you can warn someone at least after they have enjoyed the event. Why should we add it? - Had two people this morning get away from RP situations by getting teleported away while being arrested. The Event host then un-arrested them for the event. There was no hope in returning to the same RP situation as most events result in death and respawn. What are the advantages of having this? - Fixes a loophole during events. Who is it mainly for? - Government Links to any content - N/A

I am kind of starting to understand where you are coming from, but this is just a map design. The solution for this would be to create more than one entry/exit points for robberies so Gov/Crims are not necessarily funneled into one single location as small as gas stations get.
-
-Support All robberies have a single entry and exit point. "we can have a few people stay inside while others guard outside, etc. " Funneling gov into a single entry point and having the ability to kill as long as you're in render distance will create a cesspool of RDM'ers. "Who is it mainly for? Police and Criminals. " "Please take into account that most people on the forums are PD, so they're biased. " Which one is it? "position our robbers around the gas station to make it much harder for police to de-escalate the situation. " You already have been given the ability to shoot at incoming vehicles coming up to locations through opening the door.

+Support I am honestly astounded that it took this long for you to go for Colonel. You are one of the most active, outstanding members in the Police RP community and the amount of time that I have known you personally is just incomparable. Since I returned to the server many months ago I have had the privilege of working alongside you. I have had many experiences with Locus and ALL of them has been positive, great encounter. With my time in Low Command I have had to deal with a lot of interesting situations, and make difficult decisions but whenever I hit a bump in the road I am glad Locus has been there. He has given me much guidance over these last few months and inspires me to do much more than I do now. His extensive activity in other sub-departments such as HRT shows absolute dedication to his goals. He has a lot of growth ahead of him but luckily that is just the kind of person High Command needs for a Colonel. I have been taught many things by you, primarily how to respect others and enjoy roleplaying. Taking in all of our experiences together I can say that you are a perfect candidate for this position. Good luck.
