In-Game Name: Sato SteamID: STEAM_0:0:15617858 Current Rank: Major How long have you been in your current rank?: 11 months, 27 days. What time-zone are you in?: CST How many Warns do you have?: 2 Permission: Deputy Commissioner Solomon 1K-7 The first thing I would like to mention towards why I would like to be a Colonel is the amount of time and dedication I have for the server, although I am a full-time college student and I have a part-time job. It is hard to compete with the hours some of the younger folks can get in, but my free-time is largely spent with you guys, having fun on the server and generating a ton of funny moments. On the weekends I get to play a little bit more, and have been really enjoying being a part of these last few trainings since they began again. I try to clock in 1-2 hours on a weekday, and much more on the weekends. I try to be on and do what is asked of me when help is needed, simple things such as taking an OFC, or hopping off one job to get on PD to train a Cadet late at night, and aiding in meetings. A characteristic I see in myself that will be very useful for the position is professionalism and maturity, I try to keep a calm and neutral tone when interacting with most members of the community. We are all here to try to have fun so enforcing that experience by being nice to all players is very important. I have dealt with plenty of tough individuals and situations for quite well over a year that I have been in Low Command. The majority of my command experience stems from being a longtime member of the low command team. There has been many people that have come and gone in positions around me but I do take pride in seeing the people that I promoted to SGT or something long ago work their way to low command. I have been involved in many drastic changes, map alterations, the removal of entire branches, trying to convert our SteamID's to SteamID64 (If you remember this lol), so I hold a lot of memories dearly. I am also pushing hard by taking on more responsibilities in other branches such as SRT where I am GYSGT, and FTO, as well as working my way back up in State and helping CERT/SPMU. In the end, I think I have grown quite a bit from my previous application (and my very first one). As I move closer to my one year as Major, I think that it's time I seriously took on something greater. I have been a consistent member of PD for such a long time, and have developed many friendships and relationships along the way. Thank you guys for reading!

Feels like yesterday we were driving around having fun while you were still COL.

A staff member doesn't have to say it's allowed, all someone has to say is that it's not in the rules and technically they are right. Nothing in the rules says you couldn't do what I described.

What you want to see? - There should be a reasonable amount of distance a person who has adverted assist for a robbery can effectively leave until it becomes FailRP for being too far away from the robbery location. What is determined as "unreasonable" can be discussed in a staff situation with video evidence. (You would not allow someone assisting a bank robbery to run outside and down the road and not have their assist voided and any kills to be deemed as RDM.) Why should we add it? - Prevents a loophole allowing people assisting to hide outside the location, or run after government retreating. What are the advantages of having this? - It increases the respectfulness of enjoying RP on the server. Who is it mainly for? - Both Gov and Crim Links to any content - N/A

In-Game Name: Sato SteamID: STEAM_0:0:15617858 Current Rank: Major How long have you been in your current rank?: 10 months, 2 days What time-zone are you in?: CST How many Warns do you have?: 2 Permission: Deputy Commissioner Solomon 1K-7 Why should you be promoted (200 words Minimum): So to begin, I would like to establish my long history when it comes to being apart of the community of Gaminglight. I first joined around 2018, where I would focus on PD and Secret Service/CAT. Those were some fantastic times and I made a lot of amazing memories. As time inevitably passed I grew more distant from the server and stepped back from a lot of my roles. For the next three years I would pop on and off, I really stayed at MSGT for quite some time which never bothered me. When in the summer of 2021 that I decided to actively come back to the community I focused on PD. It was not long until I moved up to Sergeant Major and then put in my Lieutenant application in August of 2021, and was accepted on the eighth. That was also the time we decided to switch to our current map for the first time so it was extremely exciting. From that moment I began working hard, and absorbing the interactions between Low/High Command and Supervisors and below. So many countless memories and experiences have been made: Trainings, meetings, events, etc. All those have allowed me to become a very well-rounded individual and it has given me a thorough idea of what is absolutely expected of PD by High Command+ standards. I understand how important it is that Low Command is seen as a positive bridge of communication between those two large groups. I believe that I would be a good fit for the Colonel position based off of professionalism, the enforcement of well quality roleplay, activity, and maturity. I really focus on getting on and playing on the Major job at least two+ hours a day when I can. Of course real-life always is a priority, I also understand many people come to this server to escape reality and have fun so contributing to that experience in a positive way is something I enjoy. I find that when there are command online and patrolling, more people tend to want to hop on the job. I hope to continue making more memories into the far future and furthering my duties and expectations in Low Command. Thank you You agree that disobeying any rules set by High Command will result in an immediate demotion (Yes/No): Yes
