As some of you may have already found out, due to several factors, I have been removed from the staff team within the ImperialRP community. After doing some reflection today, I realized I'm lucky the punishment wasn't worse. I also realized that most of the actions I made during my tenure as staff on this wonderful server rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Ive never dealt with power very well, and I let it go to my head in a way that wasn't healthy, nigh destructible for the server, its reputation, its players, or myself. I wanted to apologize to everyone that was involved in the gross misuse of my staffing powers. The title of this post is to remind myself and everyone that the old addage of "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility" when that power is misused, it can lead to disastrous consequences. One of the 5 steps to destruction is "undisciplined pursuit of more". during my time as staff, I was always focused on getting the next rank, rather than taking a step back and actually learning how to properly be the current rank first. Another is "Denial of risk and peril". I threw caution to the wind when I administrated. I didnt care about who I hurt, and what damage I did to the server and its people. When people tried to warn me; "stop!", "think before you speak!" Etc... I chose not to take those things into consideration and continue down that deadly path to destruction. I will be taking a 3-week LOA from my RP on the server, and during that time I will be focusing on how I build relationships. It wasn't just during my staff tenure that I ruined them. I know a lot of people on the server don't like me as an officer and I aim to change that. I have ambitious goals on the server, and I realize I will never be able to achieve them unless I think like the servers' people. I also understand that with the damage I've done, most people will not believe me until they see it, and upon my return, I will be ready to show that those changes have been made. If you have read this far, Thank you. I will not be replying to any comments on this post, but if you choose to leave one, I will read it and take it into my reflection and future interactions. I will be a completely different person on the other side of this. Gaminglight Forever!2 points

1. Steam Name?: Baby Arm 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:530809788 3. Roster Name?: Baby Arm 4. Current Rank?: CPT 5. When were you promoted?: Oct 15. 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 6 or so months. 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: Yes. 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Of course. 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Of course. 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I wish to become senior command because of my undying devotion to this branch and I know that I can bring many things to the table in order to improve the branch for everyone. Currently, in addition to my roles as a captain, I fill the role of Head of PTs and Off-Meetings (HOPO) as well as being the current Head of Wardens. I have dedicated so much time to Wardens as a sub-branch and as a result, it is currently a very strong sub-branch and is a very desired sub-branch for our enlisted. As Head of Wardens, I have gained valuable experience in managing members, promoting daily activity, and incentivizing well performing members. I believe that I can utilize this experience in helping to shape Security as a whole and developing all those that may come into contact with our branch. I am able to dedicate 4-5 hours a day during the week to helping support Security activity and even up to 11+ hours a day during the weekends. I will bring to the table a level of relatability and connection to our enlisted that is pretty unprecedented to CMD. I pride myself on maintaining good relations with our NCOs and enlisted and will be able to leverage this in my new position if I were to get SCMD. I truly believe in the future of Security and want to be a part of building this branch to keep it going strong and make sure it is well respected throughout the Foundation. I understand that people may feel nervous speaking to command and plan on using my position as a touchpoint for our Enlisted and NCOs in order to maintain open and honest communication throughout the branch so that it can be a welcoming place for everyone. We are all searching for a relaxing place to spend our time when we aren’t busy and I want to ensure our branch stays a welcoming place for all. I truly believe that with a position in SCMD, I can support not only our lower enlisted but our HCMD+ as well to ensure that everyone is enjoying their time on Gaminglight. Through my experience as HOPO and Head of Wardens, I believe that I can easily shoulder the responsibility of SCMD and excel in my new position. If I am chosen for this position, I am absolutely positive that I will be able to leverage and benefit every level of command and the Security branch as a whole. My own personal purpose in command is to mentor all of those I come into contact with and help develop them as people not only in game but in their day-to-day lives. Every day, I strive to leave a lasting and beneficial impression on all of those who come into contact with me and feel that that trait is key to being a good Senior Command member. In conclusion, I thank all those who have helped me get to this point through their encouragement and you for reading this application in its entirety. Regardless of whether I am selected or not, I look forward to continuing to improve and support this branch. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I would bring them to an area away from any hectic environments and explain that as Security, our main goal is the securement of D-Block. I would also ask if there is anything that they may need that would allow them to continue their duties in D-Block whether that be health, armor, better weaponry, or patrols whenever D-Block is calm and allowing in order to keep them engaged. If they refuse to comply with our standards as Security professionals, I would retrain them and mentor them on what we need to see from them as members of Security. If they still refuse, I would look towards disciplinary actions so that they do not negatively affect other members of Security. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I would pull this member aside and reinforce why they were selected for this position and explain that we need them to be an example for lower enlisted. I would also inquire as to why they were feeling the need to remain out of d-block and if it is due to them being miserable just standing around, I would work with this member to have them conduct patrols with lower enlisted to allow all those involved to “stretch their legs” a little bit, D-Block permitting. If they continue to refuse, I would look towards disciplinary actions whether that be verbal warnings or strikes because we look to these members as leaders of the enlisted and they need to be able to be depended on. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into D-Block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would begin gathering evidence of their actions with the “Medal” clipping software and then I would explain to them that if they wish to have Security assistance, they need to come to Security command first rather than attempting to hijack the Security members. I would also explain the situation to other Security Command utilizing the evidence I gathered so that all appropriate parties would be aware of the situation. I would also send it to E-11 command so that they could decide how they want to go about handling this member’s actions. My priority would be maintaining control of the Security members under me and ensuring that the situation doesn’t put unneeded stress and worry on them. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: First and foremost, I always go over the NCO guide and Patrolling/Stationing guide with those who were promoted to SGT, ensuring they understand that they can now station enlisted and take enlisted on patrols with them as it relates to LCZ/HCZ. I would then explain to them about their expanded capabilities when it comes to calling protocols on the respective codes and make sure that they have their binds set up and fully ready to utilize in the event of a D-Block riot after the training. After that, I explain that they can now join FTO, Sniper, and apply for WO. I particularly focus on FTO and help them to consider joining the sub-branch as that is the future for our branch and thus, I find it very important that we get as many FTOs as possible. After ensuring they receive the NCO tags in Discord, I inform them of the activity logs page and help them to understand everything that they need to include when making their logs, making sure to include members on CCs. Lastly, I ask if they have any further questions and let them know that if they ever do have questions, to please bring them up with myself or other command as we are there to help and assist them.1 point

1. Steam Name?: lookatdatface 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:178174076 3. Roster Name?: lookatdatface 4. Current Rank?: Captain 5. When were you promoted?: 5th of November 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 6 months+ 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: yes 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: yes 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: yes 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I want to become a senior command member because I believe that I have proven myself as an extremely active member of GenSec and as a member of command. Through promotions and sanctions, I have demonstrated my competence in the areas of instructing, mentoring, supervising, and upholding the branch. While working, I constantly interact with both lower- and higher-ranking personnel of security and the entire foundation. I have experience organizing events (PTs). I constantly defend the reputation of the security branch and promote it. I have always worked to improve GenSec, whether it be through PTs, or by training new Members of Gensec as well as training NCOs about their responsibilities as GenSec's commanding officers, ensuring that everyone knows the current SOP and MOTD, recruiting and preparing people for sub-branches, helping where ever I can and so much more. I am here for the long run and all I want is to help improve the security branch by becoming senior command i believe ill be able to do just that. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D-Block?: If a Security Officer kept leaving D-block, the first thing I would do is inquire as to why. Now, this may go one of two ways. If he provides me with a reasonable justification (a valid reason to leave D-block) for why he keeps leaving D-block and there are enough Gensec members at d-block at the time to handle the current issue, then I would permit him to continue. If for any reason, I believe that his justification for answering the question was insufficient (not a valid reason to leave D-block), I will proceed to instruct him to go back to D-block and not leave again for that particular reason. As a Security OFC, they are probably new to the game and Security, therefore I would merely issue a verbal warning to them if the issue persists again and again I will take disciplinary action such as a strike/removal from security 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons? Now, this would be a whole different tale from the Security OFC if an NCO had persisted in leaving D-block with terrible justification. The NCOs in D-block are supposed to be the driving force and a fantastic example of what we desire from the lower enlisted levels. I would take the NCO to the side in-game and let him know that he is someone the enlisted should be looking up to and that he is supposed to show them a proper example of what it is to be a security personnel. I would be extremely clear with him that if he continued with these behaviors, he would be punished further and would be in trouble. After we've had that discussion, I'd let him get on with his responsibilities, albeit I would keep a closer check on him than the other NCOs and enlisted personnel if he ignores what I have told him or does the same thing again I will take disciplinary action such as a strike, watch list or removal if need be. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into D-Block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: Using Medal, I will record this occurrence and tell the E-11 private that he is not permitted to be in D-block and I'll make sure the E-11 private leaves the D-block immediately. I would then inform a member of the E-11 command of the occurrence and pass responsibility for them to deal with it as they see fit. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: first We'll go over every aspect of the SGT rank in the NCO handbook as well as the patrol and stationing guide and assist them in setting up their in-game bindings. Following all of that, I will inform them that they are now qualified to apply for Command when the application period opens. Then ill inform them that can join the FTO program And to contact any SFTO or above if they wish to join ill also inform them they can be Trained for Sniper. And finally ill give them their new tags in discord then ill go over the NCO activity logs channel and explain to them how to use it afterward ill whitelist them to the Security NCO job in-game and finalize the promotion by logging it in the Command discord1 point

1. Steam Name?: zboz 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:166742047 3. Roster Name?: zboz 4. Current Rank?: 1LT 5. When were you promoted?: Nov-5 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 5 months 7. (150 WORDS+): I want to become a Senior Command member because I want to have more opportunities to do more for the branch. In the short time I've been in this branch, I’ve come to develop a great respect for those who’ve left their mark on the branch in a positive way through their ceaseless efforts and countless spent hours, and I’ve realized that I want to be like them. I want to make this branch the best it’s ever been, and am not only willing, but eager to dedicate the time and effort necessary to make this happen. I’m not satisfied simply floating along with what we have, I want to innovate and push for trying new things within the branch, to see what works and what doesn’t, and in the process come out with a new improvement for security. I believe my time in Wardens alone has already displayed this attitude, as I have constantly given ideas and feedback to both Baby Arm and Ein during their times as WL, despite not even being a WP. I am not content sitting in command doing nothing, I want to move forward and do more for the branch, and Senior Command is the next step in that process. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I would inform them that as Security, our primary duties are within D Block first, and that they should remain within it a majority of the time, save for certain applications such as escorts, patrols, and going to medbay/armory. I would also remind them that although they should be spending most of their time in D block as an Officer, the longer they're in security the more opportunities they will get to do more than just sit in D Block in the form of Wardens, leading patrols, and being able to enter HCZ in patrols and escorts. If they continued to leave or started being mingy at all, I would start looking at disciplinary action. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I would remind them that as an NCO, they are considered one of the leaders of D block, and are expected to set a better example for the enlisted in D block. I would then remind them that if they are getting bored sitting in D block, they are allowed to lead patrols throughout LCZ and HCZ, and that doing so is a far better way to get out of D block and do something else than simply wandering out of D block with no meaningful purpose. If they continued to roam outside D block with terrible reasons, I would likely start looking at giving a proper verbal warning or at simply striking the NCO. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into D-Block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would pull the E-11 private aside quietly and remind them that they are not in security and as a result do not get to command security members around as they see fit, and that if they need any help from security they can come to me or any other command member, or an NCO if there are no command members online. If they continued to attempt to command security members around, I would use medal to take a clip of the whole process and send it up to E11 command and leave it to them to sort out with their own member. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: When promoting a corporal I will usually go over the NCO guide and Patrol/Stationing guide with them, and go over how now that they are an NCO, they are expected to start being a leader for the enlisted in D block and are going to be more closely watched by command to ensure proper conduct than before, as well as to see if they have potential as a command member. I also go over calling Hands up, and Partial protocol with them, and make sure that they have key binds set up for calling each protocol. I will make a point of mentioning that they can apply for WO when the applications open as well. I will mention that they are now able to be trained for Sniper and in particular FTO, and in the latter's case offer to train them for FTO afterwards as I am an SFTO as well. Finally, i let them know that they now have to have a forums account made, and will help them through the process of making an account if they request help.1 point

There’s no real need to “emphasize” a rule, if it’s in there you may report for it. HOWEVER, staff have discretion over all cases and will make the final call. This is a semi-serious RP server so these cases may not always be seen as serious offenses.1 point

Kat would be a great fit for this position of Pyke underboss and especially right now but the application is a little short they have been in multiple branches on the server so they definitely have the experience for it. +Support1 point

-Support This is basically the only way d class can pick off security and can easily be countered if you have situational awareness. The only reason this is powerful is because security and mtf like to rush the d class and get mobbed by all of the d class1 point

See this kinda thing is dumb no offense. We give guns to most of the server therefore anyone can rdm whenever, it happens a lot but we still give guns to everyone. Tbh your kinda fucked up too if you see this suggestion and immediately sexualize it and draw connections with erp. I get that it's a legitimate concern but if everything was sunshine n rainbows we likely wouldn't have half the things on this server. +Support1 point

Writing/Grammar: 19/20 There are very few grammar mistakes. Overall, everything looks great; very detailed sentences. Test Idea/Execution: 21/20 Your ideas and execution are phenomenally done. You have done an excellent job explaining what happened. Format: 19/20 The format is great and original. The font and text size are perfect for reading. Try adding images next time, they fill your document and they can explain the situation better. Length: 20/20 The length is great. 6 pages long, all filled with text. Great job! Lore: 20/20 Everything checks out with 079's lore. The test is explained, and it doesn't seem far-fetched. Good job! Wanderer's Library Archivist Point: 1/1 (This is my personal point, giving it to the document that I enjoyed. If you get this point, it means you made a great document) Total score: 100/100 This is a phenomenal document. You did a amazing job. Keep up the good work!1 point
