Edited version of Bread's Remove Medkits and supplies topic - Denied

What are you suggesting? - Remove Medkits and all of the medical supplies from the Armory.            I would suggest the following. Do not remove medkits/supplies, allow D class to use the armory to get supplies (nothing changes for d class) | When no medics are on make it so everyone is allowed to use medical supplies (2+ medics on to HAVE to use medbay) | All of the MTF's respective medical sub-branches do not change.  | CI can still buy medical supplies whenever they want | To put it in perspective make it like the way SCP 999 is. (when 2+ medics are on goto medbay and when -2 medics are on heal as much as you'd like)  AFK'S DO NOT COUNT 

How would this change better the server? - Would encourage more use of medical-based classes/classes that already spawn with healing items./ Also balanced it so when no medics are on there can still be medical  supplies in use 

Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - I think I have balanced it pretty good let me know what yall think! 

Who would this change mostly benefit? - Medical, any job with a medkit and can spawn med supplies.

So, let me get this straight, its based on the amount of Medical staff on, like actual staff of the Medical branch and not MTF Medics. And if there are 2 or more Medical staff on, foundation personnel have to be healed by a Medic class. If there are none or 1(?) Medical staff on, you can buy a medkit/supplies to heal yourself.

If so, why make it 2 or more medics on? Why not just, make it like 999. If there are no Medical staff on, heal. If there are, don't heal.

 

Honestly, much better and more fair for D-Class and CI overall.

Yes the medical staff counter is counted only from the actual medical branch 

2+ medics means Nobody that's not a medic can heal themselves or anyone else  (CI, D class excluded) 

0 or 1 medic means people can buy supplies the reason this is in place is because one person can be easily overwhelmed and there will be a lot more waiting

I like this better as it can help but i dont think there is a way for staff to check what people buy.

I believe there is at least I think there's a way for them to see if they are healing themselves

It's in economy you can see them buying the supplies.

Well it will be easy to figure it out cause nobody should really have a medkit if there is medical on correct?

What if you were healed by a branch’s medical class and generally it’s hard to monitor

No i mean like if you see someone who isnt a medic that  has a medkit it would be easy just SS

For certain classes yes, however theres a good amount of classes that spawn with IFAKs.

If there was a way for staff to monitor it easier then I'd +Support it.

From what your saying. It would be warnable for a cc that spawns with a medkit to be warned for having one. That means i would get tons of warnings because you can't drop/remove medkits from your inventory.
