Sacrificed Mind Posted October 23, 2020 Share Posted October 23, 2020 Steam Name: Showdown SteamID: STEAM_0:1:165685533 Ingame Name: Johnwicked Ban Length: 1 day Admin that Banned you: Starstep (STEAM_0:0:158218293) Reason for Ban: Exploiting D-Block Elevator - On behalf of Sprink Dispute: This ban punishment was unfair due to the nature of the occasion in which the senior moderator handled the player report that got me banned, as he did not let me show the video evidence of my side and instantly requested a ban without further and do. I got reported by a class D which said that I had broken the elevator that I did not break or exploit in any way. I am going to be presenting the footage of what happened, the report's video, and my side. I only got access to the footage at the end of which I got banned off the server, and after the original video from the person who reported me was deleted by himself. You can try to access the streamable link but of course, it will lead to an empty website. I am going to confirm to you that the footage presented is not modified in any way, during the admin sit I was never asked for my side of history and that the evidence was shown against me only shows me dropping from the edge of the elevator if you look closely you will notice that the first elevator gate was not broken and that I followed all server rules mentioned on the forums/server motd. This could've been solved much faster if my footage was reviewed before the ban was issued. I would like to apologize if I did anything bad towards anyone but I do believe that no rule was broken during this time. Also evidence was given, unless @Sprinklertek has anything to say about this, I have nothing further to say other than he did not exploit at all. Looking at the recordings regarding the sit itself, I am disappointed the appealer was not given a single chance to defend himself or present the video. This whole appeal could have been avoided with just that alone. To have your warn removed, go to the "Bans" Section at the top of the forums, navigate to your profile, find the warning for this appeal, and for the reason on the appeal, link this post. The warning and ban will be removed from your record. Additionally, the staff member in question will be counseled on his handling of your case.
