Data Base In Government Vehicles - Denied

What you want to see? - The new add on where you can access license plates, and criminal records just from your government vehicle

Why should we add it? -  It would make things a lot more realistic and a lot more interesting.

What are the advantages of having this? - No need to call into radio to check for bolo's or warrants. etc.

Who is it mainly for? - The police

I like the idea of it and it would result in some cooler RP although this it more of an idea then a suggestion because you haven't linked Any  content. If you actually had some content there might be a chance you could get it in the server. If you linked some content and it seemed good I would definitely +support this.

while i like the idea im gonna - support this 

while i think it would add a cool aspect of RP it feel like it would make things for both crims and Gov alot more difficult 

- i feel like this would also lag the hell out of the server with the amount of data that is being made and kept for a database. thats really my main concern is how it might affect the performance on the server.

with the lag issue it would just be like blogs in a different ui tho for gov if it was accepted

I'll say this coming from a dispatch command position; this would be AWESOME to have, but it is not realistically possible or doable right now (or ever possibly). We are a semi-serious server after all and not looking for the same experience you may get from using a program like LSPDFR or playing in the DOJRP GTA 5 community that has become popular on platforms like YouTube. Unless if someone wants to try and develop an extremely light-weight system that can be integrated into Gmod and would not be too much of a hassle to operate and manage, then maybe (and I stress the maybe factor here) SMT would consider adding it to the server, though it is still unlikely for it to happen even then.

Denied. The SMT team for this server has decided against adding this suggestion for performance reasons, the benefit to the server, or another unstated reason.
