What if people resign from resigning?
-
-Support The main reasons tasing someone with a gun is a bad idea in real life don't apply to melee weapons as far as I understand, and it doesn't really fit any code of realistic ethics to make certain crimes punishable by mandatory summary execution. Not to mention before it was clarified in the MOTD that you can tase people who are using a melee weapon, there were enough arguments about whether it was taser rush to tase someone who reset their friend with a fubar 50 minutes ago. I think gov should still be allowed to use deadly force when attacked with a melee weapon if they feel they can't tase and arrest the person safely, but "their crime is too serious, they must be executed" feels counter-roleplay. Also, it would make it even easier to get out of jail free when EMS aren't online.

+Support Already has a ban request up for something else but does indeed have 40 warnings (and accumulates them rapidly)
-
400's a crazy number man, only 20 short of being pretty nice
-
+Support Does need punishment for sure but is currently serving a 1 week console ban for racism, as well as being due a week ban for 20+ PoliceRP warns. I'm not sure how this will be handled since there are so many reasons for overlapping bans at once, but considering his long history of bans, he apparently isn't learning.

In-Game Name: BruceyBoyo Steam Name: [GL] BruceyBoyo SteamID: STEAM_0:1:6828556 What is your staff rank and the server you work in? Senior Moderator on PoliceRP How often are you online on the forums? Every day, checking regularly for new posts Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? I believe there are multiple reasons why I am qualified for the position of Forum Diplomat. Firstly. I have proved my competence and professionalism in my position as a Senior Moderator, and recently being accepted into support. I also check the forums regularly, and although my posting rate is dependent partly on how active the forums are overall especially in the PoliceRP section, I keep an eye on the PoliceRP section constantly and the rest of the forums regularly, so as a forum diplomat I would be easily able to keep myself updated with everything going on on the forums. In addition, I have read the forum diplomat handbook and forum rules several times in the past, and I have proved my ability to understand and follow rules by not having received a formal warning, strike in any RP department nor a staff strike (to my knowledge). Lastly I am both polite and genuinely friendly, and will do whatever I can to help someone who needs assistance with anything forum related. Overall, in every position I hold within Gaminglight, staff or RP, I am dedicated to learning, developing and bettering myself and I will apply the same principles to the Forum Diplomat position should I be accepted. Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision? I do consider myself to have good judgement. With four command positions and a staff position on PoliceRP, difficult decisions are common – one time I had to make one, although I was not the one making the final decision, was in my early days as SCO19 command when I was asked to recommend one of the two possible candidates for command – one of the candidates had been my friend since the day I joined the server, but I had to think professionally and recommend the other candidate who had much more command experience. In terms of cases where the final decision was made directly by me, although I dislike demoting people, I had to issue a 3 rank demotion in PD once due to the officer displaying extreme disregard for the rules of the department or server, despite the hard work they put into achieving their rank which is difficult for me to undo. How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers? I would DM them about the situation, informing them politely and respectfully that spamming is not allowed and is not the way to get unbanned, and advising them on how to go about appealing the ban. I would give them any further help they needed to appeal the ban if they chose to take my advice. If the person ignored me and continued spamming, I would hide their spam posts and inform the Head Diplomat of the situation. In extreme and urgent cases, such as if the user was online and actively spamming offensive or dangerous content such as hate speech, NSFW content or dangerous links, I would consider contacting a member of SMT as a last resort if the Head Diplomat was unavailable in order to swiftly handle the situation and minimize exposure. How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal? I would post a clearly identifiable forum diplomat message in the thread reminding users to keep responses to + and - supports only and that the thread may be locked if arguing continues. If the arguing continued I would hide any further posts, lock the thread and inform the Head Diplomat of the situation. If any posts prior to the warning message were in flagrant breach of forum rules such as threats, slurs etc. then I would hide those posts and contact the Head Diplomat immediately regardless of whether the arguing continued after the message.

At last, a ramp with railings so we can backflip through the air, land upside-down, break our entire skeletons and die in a burning wreck of a car in an OSHA-friendly way.

+Support 33 warns and counting, managed to score a 1-hour AWarn auto-ban for getting 5 rapid warnings too. Needs the 30 warn ban as a hard wake-up call.
-
+Support Friendly, trusted staff member Good amount of experience and competent I don't see you on much, but considering you've been getting honourable mentions in staff of the week for 2 weeks straight, you aren't exactly inactive... Good luck!
-
+Support Has 11 warnings thereby meeting the 10 warn threshold for a 1 day ban
-
+Support Has 11 warnings thus meets the requirement for 1 day ban
-
+Support The second, you could argue, maybe, that they looked stuck... but the first, not at all, and a clear breach of physgun guidelines. Knowing you shouldn't do it is good, but when you know you shouldn't do something, the logical next step is not doing it.

That's great news! Glad to hear you've recovered and we're all looking forward to playing with you again.

In-Game Name: BruceyBoyo Steam Name: [GL] BruceyBoyo SteamID: STEAM_0:1:6828556 What is your staff rank in Gaminglight? Senior Moderator How often are you on TeamSpeak? Generally every day for a few hours at least, aside from taking the occasional day off. How often do you use discord? Many times every day Why would you want to join our Support team (Word Count 150+)? I would like to be a part of support in order to have more ways to help and support the community. As a friendly and caring person I enjoy helping people and making their experiences better and easier, and where possible I already try to help people with technical issues, understanding mechanics or Gaminglight's procedures and anything else I'm able to when I get the chance and joining support would allow me more opportunities to help out. Not only that but support staff are an important part of the community, as players may need to come to support staff for a wide variety of things from quick services like giving someone a Teamspeak tag to helping with in-depth technical problem solving and it is important that they receive quick, high-quality help with their problems, which I feel I would be able to provide. Having been in the community for 8 months now and achieved PoliceRP command positions as well as staff, I see support as an opportunity to become even more involved with the community, to develop as a person and hopefully gain new skills that may help me in staffing and possibly elsewhere. How do you think you could affect support staff in a positive way? I am well known for being a kind, respectful person who cares about helping others and solving their problems as much as possible. I also have a lot of experience with Garry's Mod and Steam as well as with Discord, Teamspeak etc. and computers in general (my degree is computing related) which may come in handy sometimes. When staffing on PoliceRP I have been known to stay in sits for extended periods of time doing anything I can to make sure that an issue is solved. I feel that above all my calm, friendly and caring manner for which I am known is well suited to the role of support staff and I would make sure that everyone feels able to approach me for anything they need. How would you greet someone that has a problem in one of our tickets, or support channels? "Hey there (Name), I'm BruceyBoyo with Gaminglight Support, what can I help you with today?" or something similar.

+Support The man is active, experienced in multiple departments and always willing to help anyone who needs it. Professional, competent, absolutely deserving of the promotion to Major.

-Support https://gaminglight.com/bans/player/76561198067055908 You were banned from PoliceRP in 2017 for "Racism/Disrespect/NITRP/Don't come back". Normally given that it was many years ago i would support the unban as people can change, however you were also permanently banned from our SCP-RP server 8 days ago for Mass Racism. People can change a lot in 4 years, but staying the same for 4 years and then changing in 8 days is a stretch to me.
