-Support The log shows he was on the administration job, which would count as being either command or staff, thus allowed to demote. There is no evidence or explanation as to why the demote was false (which would be a staff report anyway), only that he used the command, which is allowed.

-Support Pretty sure the whole point is that your gun is very close to being ready to fire, at that point we might as well say you can FearRP the entire SWAT team because their guns aren't aimed at you so you can shoot first. Also, in RP it's unlikely you can see whether a gun is or isn't safetied - the point is you're just holding it, not aiming it. This would essentially mean that aiming your gun randomly around the place made you more ready to fire than holding it otherwise. Realistically you just need to re-aim the gun a little and you're in a standoff. From a gameplay perspective this would also mean effectively that you could kidnap pretty much any government official at any time anywhere unless you were actively being held at gunpoint by them. Also, the fact that you can have a gun not out but also not on safety would mean that with this rule change, you'd be able to reach into your pocket, grab hold of an assault rifle or LMG that you store in it, pull it all the way out and aim it towards someone faster than they can just aim at you. It's worth noting that you can just bring backup, order the person to put their gun away under FearRP and then kidnap them.

I also personally won't hold it against you if you accidentally do it as a result of my aim with an AWP being so bad you didn't know you were in combat (I've surprised several criminals with that). I've seen some people use 15 seconds as a rule of thumb, but I think most people will be okay with you just taking a look around to make sure the area's clear and nobody's imminently about to engage you first (no enemy combatants reloading their guns, running to cover, no bearcat coming straight towards you code 3, etc)

As someone who was there when you were banned from the main GL discord and remembers, I just wanted to clarify that you first pinged Zeeptin in a message with the N word twice in all-caps, and then afterwards said the homophobic F-slur. I'm not sure who banned you there but I suspect it may have been Eternity as he said "bruh" "bye" shortly after. No other input than that, just wanted to clarify what I know of what happened (for the main GL discord anyway) to hopefully help the process along.

-Support If I was required to stand around AFK on Citizen for a while before getting to play (as I have played crim I believe 3-4 times?) it would've been pretty offputting. (I also think level 5 would've been reached by the time I loaded in...) For a lot of people it'd be mandatory AFK time. If OFC was a level job, what would be the government job for new players? Let's not forget this would block new players who haven't yet donated out of every department on the server, and I'm not sure how many gov only players would rather stand around AFK for a while than just click another server. Not to mention for players who only come here to join PD, this would essentially be like having staff show up and jail them immediately for being new. A lot of people come here to play PD, and locking the ability to even attempt to play it behind anything would lock gameplay out for some. OFC is already a job that's often hard to get promoted from, and which locks you out of half the game. If we're going to lock even that job to experienced players just in case someone breaks the rules, what about mingy citizens? It just feels like a rather counter-productive exercise of "if they AFK for a while they can't break rules", which I feel would discourage players who mainly want to play government jobs while doing very little to delay people with intent to minge (who will likely just minge as citizens or gun dealers until they level up enough to click OFC) nor to actually make players more experienced (AFKing or running around as a citizen won't help people learn how to be an OFC).

Based on the fact that you were warned for RDM before you got banned for racism+LTAP, and the fact you then went on another one of our servers and got banned for mass RDMing and being racist there while this appeal was open, I'm not satisfied that you've learned from this enough to warrant a reduction in length.

It might not be the most ideal thing to say, but there is a long way between "not the ideal response" and "ERP".
