Rank You are Applying For: Major In-Game Name: Mark SteamID: STEAM_0:1:128867149 Current Rank: Captain How long have you been in your current rank?: 7 Weeks 6 Days [55 days] (I will try to keep it up to date but just in case I forget, I was promoted to CPT on 03/17/2023) What timezone are you in?: CST How many Warns do you have?: 19 Permission: BruceyBoyo Why should you be promoted (200 words Minimum): Throughout my time in PD and Gaminglight as a whole, I feel I have shown extreme growth in maturity and professionalism. I can handle stressful situations and keep control of the situation, as well as maintain a professional and mature attitude even with the rudest and most disrespectful people. I have also shown great trustability and loyalty to Gaminglight, and have never done anything to harm or give a bad look to the server or department I represent I have made it into staff 2 times and many command positions throughout my time gaining more experience each time I do and gaining a better reputation. Adding on to that my reputation/relationship with most members is extremely positive and I work to make as many people happy as possible, I try to be as helpful and kind to people as I can and always collaborate with other departments. Not only that but I also keep major collaboration with my department and ensure proper teamwork and respect among all members of PD, I also am good at person management and recognizing people for their hard work in the department. I also take leadership and initiative in any situation that requires an authority figure to keep things in control, but I still try my best to hear everyone's opinion as it's always good to hear input from anyone on a situation not just my own. This includes on the radio with callouts, on the scene with parameters, in pursuits, or IA reports or a department dispute. I feel I have mastered this because as I have mentioned earlier I have a lot of command experience, I served as a USMC captain in military RP and a naval commodore in imperial RP. This experience got me working with many people in the community and gaining respect for other people and a lesson from each person I worked with. I have also shown great communication skills with people in my department as well as others, whether it be in an active pursuit, scene, or shootout. I always try to communicate and break that barrier I see a lot of command members hold up between them and lower ranks by sitting in the command rooms 24/7. I have also been extremely dedicated to PD and Gaminglight and have given my 100% to help all departments and members to help achieve and maintain the best experience possible, whether it be proper RP with de-escalating situations and using proper radio callouts or keeping my department members in check no matter how difficult the decision may be. I have also been extremely active spending most of my free time on Gaminglight or helping people outside of the server on other issues, basically in every way I can be. I AFK on the server, I get on every day, I keep a positive attitude and represent my department in the best light I can shine every day, and help out as much as possible. I also have deep and intense knowledge of the law, police procedures, 10 codes, and criminal psychology which I find fascination for, I keep my callouts and judgment as professional and realistic as possible, as well as keep immersion for anyone involved. I also am extremely adaptable and resilient, I am able to take control and leadership of chaotic and messy situations like pursuits or shootouts or times of mass crime that cause martial law and still keep good composure and judgment. I also can multitask pretty well and I feel the best way I show that is when I'm active as dispatch, I can maintain good radio traffic in chaos and still keep control of situations and keep communication flowing even in the worst situations. Also as you know supervisors mainly are who train cadets but I also take training of cadets myself a lot and also watch supervisors train to ensure proper training, I also am extremely patient with cadets and also all officers and supervisors with questions for me or situations they need my help in. I also keep neutral judgment and a reasonable punishment in mind, as a lot of the time I have to deal with people I know well and punish them, I don't like doing it but it's the right thing to do. The point I'm pushing across here is I think through my time in the community I have gained a lot of professionalism and maturity, as well as experience and leadership skills, also gaining communication, collaboration, and people management skills, as well as respect and reputation with as many people as possible. I also have shown great patience, neutrality, reasonability, knowledge of police procedures, and multi-tasking skills. And it is for all of the reasons I have mentioned that I think I would make a good fit for the rank of major. You agree that disobeying any rules set by High Command will result in an immediate demotion (Yes/No): Yes.

I understand where you are coming from however to be honest there was never an issue before with absurd skins, and if so they were expensive or not common. I just dont see were you connect colorful gun to COD. And lets be real here, if we are going to talk about what makes things hard to RP lets talk about how I saw a pack of robotic furry's mow down PD, or every criminal with military grade machine guns and snipers, or this complete piece of art that is one of the best uses of money ive ever seen: https://imgur.com/a/1sFpyuj Or the most tame crime scene ive had in a bit https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/15fMQXR2P6uZTa/d1337iShrhFt?invite=cr-MSxNYmosNTAxNzMxNzMs

What you want to see? - Set up weapon skins like in SCP-RP were they do !skins and can buy them directly instead of using crates. this I think is a nice workaround to the issues P-RP was facing before with its removal. Now ill be honest im not 100% sure this is a perfect fix and I suggest talking to SCP-RP SMT to see how they do it but setting it up like that would be nice. Why should we add it? - Would be nice to see skins back, I remember when they existed and I never bought them. Now I kinda wish I did and would love to see it back! What are the advantages of having this? - More things for people to spend money one, peoples billions gotta go somewhere. Who is it mainly for? - Everyone Links to any content - The ones we used.

After thinking about my activity in FBI and SWAT it became clear I could not maintain proper activity in both to my liking, after a lot of thinking I have decided to let go of FBI. I feel the department is in great hands with with Zoey as director and Matilda as deputy director, I feel SWAT is in way greater need of help and activity. I enjoyed my time in FBI a lot, and do not regret joining, however I'm here to improve the server and I don't feel there is anything I can do for FBI, its in the best hands you could ask for and has thriving command. Good luck FBI ill be seeing you o7

What you want to see? - PD LC get access to firing people off the job Why should we add it? - Now you might be wondering, why only PD LC. Well, other departments demotions may go pretty smooth, however when it comes to PD demotions... All hell breaks loose, its like something snaps in the person getting demoted and they go on a killing spree of any police in sight, I usually have to call HC to fire them or staff to force job them. I have not had a smooth demotion on PD in a loonngggg time. What are the advantages of having this? - Easier and more smooth PD demotions, and we dont have to bug HC or staff about some moron not getting off the job. However there should be heavy rules on it, it should not be used for any other reason. Who is it mainly for? - PD LC Links to any content - N/A

Hello friends, have you ever gotten blasted by an error missile by phil and wondered, why tf is that an error. And then after asking 1000 times for the project reclamation pack and no one has it, you start crying. Well fear not, here you go https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=771074553

What you want to see? - Removal of the PB medic job Why should we add it? - So I have gotten on the EMS PB medic job before, it is fun. However this job has caused a great many issues for not only criminals, but police and staff. For starters when PB medics are on and I'm on police I always have bad experience's with PBs, I've waited up to 20 min just to arrest a guy for like 3 min. I'm not joking, they are either driving around looking at flowers or minging. I have called to PB medics multiple times over radio asking what they are doing and if they can revive a guy..... Nothing, I get almost no communication with them and the times I do, they are saying stupid shit over radio. Giving players a gov job that gets a radio and important responsibility's that alters how the server is played with no training goes about just as well as you would expect. Now for criminals its about just as bad, I have died multiple times waiting up to 30 min for a PB medic to come revive me only to get nothing, now I wish I could just revive when PB medics are on but I cant since its fail RP, so I just have to pray that the medic can rub together more than five brain cells and figure out that when someone is dead they have to go revive them. If they cant manage that (most cant) then I gotta sit on my ass until I can respawn. So that just causes unnecessary waiting since they are never going to respond. Now for staff, ahahahah. I have taken so many sits by PB medics over really stupid reasons like this guy is annoying me, like bro, I'm not a therapist. Or I take sits and PB medics are marching into active shootouts reviving people like they are in Hacksaw Ridge or some shit. So lord knows thats fun to deal with, ooo or when PB medics take OFCs on ride alongs, which is so fun to deal with since a gov job that requires no training can just spawn a vehicle and another that requires training cant. Moral of the story is that I dont mind normal EMS, they do pretty well. But holy god are PB medics some of the worst things to encounter in this game, some people bribe them to get off because thats how god damn annoying it is, anyways. Rant over, accept this or I ban you What are the advantages of having this? - people can roleplay in situations and not worry about a PB medic forcing a 20 min break when they die. Who is it mainly for? - Me Links to any content - https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/Y6G6QG0s86qVt/d1337eXco2Ix?invite=cr-MSxlUzEsNTAxNzMxNzMs Im aware everyone will have mixed opinions on this. Listen, the job is fun and makes a lot of money, but its just not worth the pain.

+support I don't understand why its a big deal to steal a government car, to be honest I really dont care if my car gets stolen, police should be locking there cars anyways so maybe this is a lesson. And if they leave there car unattended in a unprotected area thats also there fault. I would like to see some stolen gov car pursuits, it seems like people just want the rule because they are to lazy to lock there cars and dont want to roleplay the situation out, but if you dont want to roleplay your car getting stolen. Then dont play police rp. Im fine with it as long as EMS remain untouched and there is a high cooldown to prevent mass stealings of gov cars.

+support I'm aware this was denied before but I really wanna see mansion come back. This will most likely get denied because of that fact but let it be known that majority of people in GL want to give mansion another chance, and think of the positives. It will give some life to that part of the map and make taking the point there more difficult if a family is basing there, also it gives departments a different more unique house to raid, and also host trainings in. All around this is a good addition and I would love to see it back on the map!

+support While it was a break of staff rules, it really was not that big of a violation. All that he did was pull him off the roof, tbh seeing all the comments I thought he was slamming him into the ground or something. As much as he should not have done it he should not be removed or striked, just a verbal talking to, because to be honest I have done way worse. On accident but still way worse.

-support You need a valid RP reason to run from a traffic stop. "6-) Priority Rules Criminals must have a VALID reason to run from Police. This includes but is not limited to Having a warrant for shooting at government Your vehicle being wanted in a prior pursuit Your life is threatened by an officer" Every criminal spawns with something not legal, that doesn't give you permission to break priority rules whenever. You also were very aggressive, dismissive and disrespectful for no reason and did not give Matilda a chance to explain the rules, I suggest you cool down a bit.
