  1. Likely. Only for Technicians, though. Because it would get expensive for the amnestization for one SCP when it comes to janitors. Medics wouldn't need to be amnesticized.
  2. Except Technicians. Technicians would have to repair the containment chambers themselves. Janitors would know about 173, since they have to clean it. Medics would have to enter certain areas to heal and retrieve injured personnel aswell.
  3. With my own personal note: If I know this person, I can just +1 him for stuff like this. If he keeps up the good work, he could make a good, possibly great Super Admin when the time comes.
  4. Still don't think that's a good idea to just have this hovering badge. People won't understand it and we already have things like Junior Researcher and Lance Corporal labels in our names.
  5. What is your in-game name?: Security SO Vytal / (D-Class) Premiere What is your steam name?: Dr. Ternith Plague What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:234721838 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) I have had other experience with staffing via being with the Event Team and the Definitive Gaming Networks' Staff Team as an Administrator. What we usually dealt with the most was RDM sits and hackers, which were swiftly dealt with due to multiple people working to figure out the situation. What date did you start playing on the community?: (roughly) About Mid to Late November in 2018. What date did you make your forums account?: September 18, 2018 Current rank on server (This is a ULX rank ONLY! Not a RP Rank)?: Bronze How many warns do you have on the server (Show proof with a screenshot)?: I have zero warnings. Have you donated?: Not officially, but I have received Bronze rank from a giveaway in late 2018. What rank are you applying for?: Trial Moderator. Are you staff on another community (BE HONEST)?: No - I left Definitive Gaming Networks not that long ago (Late March) and have been looking for a new staffing position. Have you read the staff guidelines at ? You will be tested on it: Yes. I have read and understood the Staffing Guidelines. Timezone: EST. Permission (Senior Moderator+ need this): Not required. Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum): I believe that I deserve the staff rank due to my ability to handle sits, and reliability when dealing with stressful situations. I have also worked with some minor staffing decisions when on Event Team due to a lack of staff at the time. I have worked with rule enforcement before in cases dealing with Random Death Match and No Intent To Roleplay. I have done Warn/Ban formats before, usually, I had to use "VoR | [Rule Broken] | [Times rule was broken] | [Staff Name]", since we had different names to our roleplay names, and we had such on the Staff Roster. I also think I deserve Trial Moderator due to my ability to deal with rule breakers kindly and letting them know what rules mean what, which roles do what, and to explain what to do if there is a case of a person not knowing what to do upon joining the server (as it does seem very vague if you are just joining a public Garry's Mod server for the first time). How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: I would notify a higher staff member (since Trial Moderators can't do minges of more than 300 seconds) and deal with warning them while the upper Staff Member deals with the minges. I would also warn them for "Disrespect towards Staffing Personnel" due to their excessive slurs and possible ignorance of warnings. Depending if this is their 10th, 20th, 30th, or 40th warn, I would let a higher rank deal with the official punishment as per guidelines.
  6. My memorable moment is when we actually got out of the Site, but I had to go because: A - No CI NCO+ online B - My computer automatically shuts down after an amount of time.
  7. +Support - 682 is not as dangerous as it should be. 682 is meant to be a DANGEROUS, ALMOST INDESTRUCTIBLE REPTILE. Not a beefy player model that can get tranquilized within one or two shots. You downright scoundrel, I'm supporting this for a more dangerous, but not too dangerous, 682.
  8. +Support - Only Medics can do anything. Janitors are just for aesthetic, Technicians basically can go anywhere with what they have and can do, and Cafeteria workers can't defend the Cafe when its too dangerous and D-Class flood in. We need to flesh out Utility Roles other than another role where you just waltz around the facility in pure selfishness during a breach.
  9. I'll just make it simple and quote two people, then provide my own reasoning: -Support - Mainly because 035-1 is a mask. Though I do think he should gain the inventory of his victim, he shouldn't just get a Level-3 Keycard on spawn. That is just simply too overpowered.
  10. -Support - More coding which is unneeded. As well as making more roles for every single rank in Security, MTF, Research, etc. I think this guy puts it in a simpler form:
  11. +Support - We need this. But make it bigger and more separated as to give a bigger view on the ranks.
  12. So, this is a long post. I'll do a TL;DR at the end. I've been interested in Garry's Mod for a long time. I've been watching YouTube videos on it for a long time, starting with VenturianTale back in (I'm pretty sure) 2014 or 2013. I was slowly getting uninterested in them when I started finding people like Breezy (back then, known as Kul3Dude). I didn't get interested into the roleplay scene of things until about 2016, 2017 when I saw people like Frisky or Zuthar (no, I'm not influenced by Zuthar). I was struggling to get things like Garry's Mod, but when my Birthday rolled around one year, I had received a $50 Steam Gift Card. The first game I got? SuperFlight. Yeah, I know. Horrible game, bad controls, but got me back into the scheme of PC Gaming (I'd been a long-time PS4 player). When I bought Garry's Mod, I was overwhelmed by a lot of things. First was the size of content packs. Like, JESUS, those are huge. But I started into the RP scheme of things when I joined Concordia (not an advertisement, I SWEAR). I'd been an avid player, kept going through it, got into Z-Unit. Who knew I would be banned from the community for plagiarism when applying for an SCP. I know, right? Anyways, I had left Concordia before I remembered this one Star Wars RP server. Zephyr (again, NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT), which I remember Frisky running for a good while. I joined, left for a bit, rejoined, repeat. I got bored of Garry's Mod for a while. After that, I had just... gotten bored of video games for a while. I didn't rejoin PC Gaming until very late 2017, where I joined a CvR server. I was there for a while before I rejoined Revival (I think I skipped a big section of memory there). I left Revival due to inactivity, and kept on going to Werewolf for a while. I had gotten inactive on Administration on CvR when I began receiving map errors with the skybox there. It just turned into lines and a complete void. I resigned from all my positions there and I still have a good relationship with the Chief of Development there. I decided to head back to GamingLight after a while, and have stayed ever since I left CvR this March. I'm not ashamed, nor proud, of my work in other servers (mostly because I left them), and I don't usually commit to servers unless their community is really kind. I would like to say that GamingLight has one of the most understanding staff. TL;DR - I came to Garry's Mod because of VenturianTale, and joined GamingLight officially when I left my Administration position at CvR. Probably gonna stay for a while. Mostly at SCP:RP.
  13. What you want to see? - The Ethics Committee for SCP-RP in Site-05, as well as a subsequent Forum section for applications or for the Branch itself. Why should we add it? - To add another roleplay element, as well as place guidelines and actually enforce them for Security and Research. What are the advantages of having this? - More Serious Roleplay, extended event ideas, more choices for where to go if someone wishes to use their second life. Who is it mainly for? - This is mainly for the people who wish to create a more serious environment for the SCP-RP Server. That, and to enforce ethical ideas within the Foundation (which would require an 'ethical definitions' document). Links to any content - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=110138917&searchtext=Suit Definitely not the final decision, but useful for Ethics Committee player models.
  14. Name: Dr. Ternith Plague What is your ULX Rank?: Bronze (from Leaderboard) How would you rate your knowledge of the SCP world? (1-10): I would say a solid 8, considering this server's lore. Do you have any experience as a GM or event planner in the past (If so, explain l): I have a bit of experience from planning events before. Such as for a Combine vs. Rebels RP event, I recommended a five phase event where they would all be interlinked. If a faction won a phase, they would get an advantage next phase. It all would interlace in the final where they would fight to deactivate/protect a bomb. How Active are you?: I've been on the server as I've been able, and have a days worth of time logged on the server. How many warns do you have?: I have no warns on me. Why should we allow you to be an Event Team Member (150+ Words)?: I think I should be an Event team Member due to the creativity of lore building for the Gaminglight SCP-RP Server. In a nutshell, we can create our own lore where every SCP is contained, instead of basing it on the Foundation lore (I mean, players talk as SCPs already anyways). I also know that I can do events involving introductions to SCPs that people have heard of, but never used before. If I am accepted, we can even do events involving upgrades to weaponry. I've had many ideas in mind to better servers in the Foundation universe, and I want Gaminglight to be apart of that. I want it to be something which sticks out from the usual nature/copy paste of other SCP servers. But I can't do that without us working together to provide a different format from other types of servers, like Werwolf and its repetitive and unknown events. Describe an event you could create (The more specific the better): This event follows the transfer of SCP-914 and SCP-912 throughout the United States to Site-19. SCP-914 would be placed inside the locked down area and we would cover the containment sign for the Burning Man. We would have an Event Team Member be SCP-912 (who wouldn't speak). He would act hostile to Security and detain anyone who didn't put weaponry on safety or completely away. He would act kind to the Mobile Task Forces due to their Police-like nature. A scientist from the site would say "why don't we just cross test these two SCPs?" They would put SCP-912 in input and put it on Rough by accident. SCP-912 would go on a rampage and eventually break out of the site, leading to Chaos Insurgent hands. There would be a negotiation gone wrong, which would eventually spiral to a point of Warhead Detonation. It would activate (ICly), and anyone inside the Panic Room would be safe. SCP-912 and SCP-914 (which survived the explosion) would be evacuated and then the map would be reset, where people would be going back to their normal duties. What is your favorite SCP? Why? SCP-912, a Safe Classification SCP which is basically a suit of SWAT Armor capable of self thinking. There is nothing inside of it, and, the part I like, it attacks anyone who threatens others. The main reason I like it is due to how rare its seen and what kind of tests you could do. You could test SCP-076-2 on him and 912 possibly win due to its overwhelming strength. It maybe immortal, but its pretty equally powered.
