I think that placing checkpoints in major places(like the entrance to outskirts from spawn) will increase minges and cause traffic backups unless done correctly. Making checkpoints in less populated places makes it more smoother, but you don’t get too many people going through it.

-Support We have too many tactical units as it is, creating a new one and getting people to correctly handle the department will just be a pain.

Hello all, I am Tom Brown. I also go by the name Thieffy(Criminal). I have been on this server for about 3-4 months now and i am loving every moment of it. I realized i never posted a formal introduction of myself. I never really knew PoliceRP actually existed, i downloaded GMOD because a friend told me to play prop hunt with him and i said okay. I was browsing the servers and i joined this server to see what it was and i fell in love with it. I will admit, at first i was mingy(keep in mind i didnt know what roleplay was and didnt know about the rules!). Now i look back at myself and i feel bad about giving people a hard time for actually roleplaying. I am sincerely sorry for my mingy past which lasted about 2 weeks i would say. I now know the rules very well and look forward to excel myself in this game. I am a new Staff member as well, so if you guys see me feel free to say hi! I am also currently a SM in the Police Department. I am also in EMS, but i am not too active in it. A little about myself: Im 22 and i live in Texas. I go to college and also work. I am a HUGE car enthusiast and I love video games and buying myself nice things(lol). I used to play PS4 but now i recently started playing PC games when i started playing GMOD. All I remember from this specific warn is that I did player diss, but I didn’t continue to player diss. Especially when an admin steps in I stop and listen to them. That’s why I think he accidently warned me twice

A Lieutenant is a higher up/superior that supervises the department and makes sure everyone in the department is on track and doing their job well. I remember when i started off as a cadet, fresh and new, going out in the field without any past experience in the force. I didn't know any citizens, and i didn't know the community at all. After i started to learn about Rockford and its citizens i started to get better at my job, i was promoted from Cadet to OFC, then to OFC and on. I stand here now as a Sargent Major thinking about how i was before, and how we have so many new officers in the cadet that need guidance to excel in the police force. Newer officers tend to not know the rules better than higher officers so we need to make sure that they are getting the correct training needed so that they can do their jobs correctly. Everyday i see OFC's out on foot when they are not supposed to be, they need to be riding along with a SNR+ at all times. There are some things we can improve in PD that will help the experience for everyone. Firstly, we need to make sure that the radio(comms) are clear of personal/not needed conversations. It is so hard to talk over radio when people keep on disrupting you, and its much worse when they are talking about something that has nothing to do with PD or the situation they are in. Officers need to be trained better and told not to talk about not needed conversations over radio. Another MAJOR problem is that officers are not following traffic laws. We cannot expect the citizens to obey traffic laws if our own officers aren't doing it! If you do not have lights/sirens on, you must follow traffic laws. We need to make sure everyone is obeying them and talk to the officers seen not doing it. The Police Department is a community, so if one person is not doing what they are supposed to, others will watch and sometimes follow. We need to all make sure we are following all of the rules. We have many great people in PD that i look upto, Munchies is a great major, Finch is an amazing LT. They put in alot of time to the police department and make sure everyone is in check. If i am accepted as LT, i want to make sure i help them out and continue to make sure everyone is in check and help improve PD. I have 13 warns(12 if my appeal gets approved) , i understand that is not a super low amount, but this was the first RP game iv ever played, i literally clicked on this to see what it was and i really liked it. I didn't really know the rules when i first started playing, but i understood them a little after. My last warn was about 2 months ago and i don't plan to get anymore in the future. I hope that i get LT so that i can improve the Police Department for the better. This was when i first started playing the game and didn't really know how they worked. I think he did it 2 times on accident and he forgot he had already done it. Warns are supposed to be 1 warn and then everything in that one warn like Player Diss x2, not separate warns.

For the past 2 nights as staff, i have been getting calls after calls from the Lil Family(You know who you are) about FailRP/RDM/Etc by SWAT/FBI/PD. While some of them were true and corrective action was taken, most of them were about the same person, Yobo. I saw what happened at the beginning of all this stuff, Yobo was BSI, the Lil Family and some others were surrounding him (Copbaiting) and some might of had guns out(might of been on safety but still), Yobo backed up towards PD where the huge group also followed to, by the parking lot exit. Yobo warned them to step away multiple times before shooting. I believe it was this that started everything else, the Lil Family was minging and putting up signs degrading Yobo for RDM etc. The minging continued way too far and i thought it was handled the first night. Now, the second night, they are still holding grudges against him or vice versa and it comes in between roleplay. Anytime they get raided/killed by him(or really anyone) an admin is called to find the smallest thing they may have done wrong(im talking like if they are told to leave they literally step back one feet and say they are on public property) . I do not have anything against the Lil Family or Yobo, i try to be fair to everyone but the Lil Family went too far by changing their names/using text screens to degrade Yobo. The Lil Family, your credibility goes down when you are calling admin for literally everything when we are swarmed by other calls and you want us to fix a situation that has to do with a hate towards someone. I do not mind helping you guys out, that what i am there for, but please do not bring up stuff like Yobo is doing this because hes salty that we killed him earlier etc. I have spoke to Yobo and he is not doing that, so please just move on and be friendly towards each other. I may be wrong about some of this, but that is what i have seen the last 2 days. My suggestion is to move on, and be friendly towards each other. This is a game we are here to have fun, not to degrade people to the point where its kind of harassment. Lil Family i have been giving you guys verbal warnings for breaking rules because of everything that is going on and i do not want to take sides, but if any rules are broken it will be a warn. This also goes for Yobo(if you did rdm) or anyone else playing on the server. I hope we all can be friendly with each other and have a great time out there.
