What you want to see? - I think it would be a good idea to add the rule of if you are doing a gov raid you need to stay in the building just like when you do a robbery. Why should we add it? - I see multiple criminals constantly doing the gov raids they will start it then run outside the building close enough to still successfully raid and collect everything. They put guns away and tell others to do the same knowing gov legally cant shoot them so they purposely use this to win without having to even play. They stack up in a corner on top of each other and yell at people who get close to them with guns out because they are worried of having to actually fight like it was meant for. I also see alot of gov on at times with no one to fight just there defending while people are outside taking stuff and gov cant do anything. After they win they then switch to gov and then they fight. What are the advantages of having this? - This will keep people from getting stuff they didnt work for in my opinion its a way of exploiting by avoiding the rp and fighting. So forcing people to stay close and inside will keep them from being able to hide anymore and will be forced to fight for it. Who is it mainly for? - Crim Links to any content - None3 points

Hello everyone, as I am sure you read by the title, I am going to be stepping down from my position as Director of Research and Security and Event Team Member. I will be available as DoRS for 48 hours up until 11:59am EST May 15th. I had a whole thing planned that I was going to write out detailing why I am leaving and my story here on GL for the past year and a half but I think the short and sweet will do. Why I am resigning? I want to start off by saying that yes, like almost everyone who resigns I am burnt out of the server. However, its not the gameplay I am tired of. I could hang out with Security in D-Block or do tests with Researchers all day and it would be awesome. Rest assured that I think SCP-RP is a lot of fun with a ton of great people. However, things are not always fun when you see behind the curtain. Story Time This is my little bit to myself, if you don't want my GL story than skip to the next section for Shout outs. I joined for the first time back in early November of 2021. Instead of doing my college work as a sophomore I decided to do some trolling and join an SCP server for the first time. GL had the most players so I joined that one. Initially I was going to screw around for a couple hours and then prolly RDM a ton of people and get banned (we do a little trolling). As a D-Class I enjoyed the atmosphere and decided to try joining a branch. I had played at least 3,000 hours of Star Wars RP so I knew how to get trained. I was trained by the most based FTO, Sergeant Julias. About 15 min later Julias warned me that I can't just stand in D-Block and not kill rioting D-Class. My goal of getting promoted to LCPL for doing literally nothing had failed. Fast forward two weeks and I somehow was already command. I got to really meet a lot of the command at this point, especially my mentor Assassin. Fast forward a month and Sixx spoiled my promotion to First Lieutenant at the main meeting via TeamSpeak (bonehead move). The two most stressful weeks were now upon me as my SCMD application was up when I had only been low command for less than 2 months! To Hoovy's horror, I got SCMD. I would spend about 5 months here and saw quite a lot in that time. I worked with Sixx to create the Juggernaut Sub-branch (#Jordan love <3), I saw the rise and fall of ZJ (again), I saw the blacklisting of two waves of SCMD due to working with alt accounts and other stupid shit they should not have done (this is for Meeseeks). Then I got HCMD after PlantBruh so nicely left me spot. HCMD was the most fun I ever had on the server. Working with Sixx, Mind, Jack Crest, Jrshafer, Drizzle, Alpha, and last but not least Baby Arm has been a blast. Posting my first branch update too early because I was the only HCMD and had no clue what I was doing all the way to making the first D-Block and all iterations of it on site-50 was such a blast. I was not the best HOS, but I am very content with how I did in retrospect. Site Admin was a different beast. Being good Site Admin is very different than being good High Command. It takes a boarder perspective, you have to look at every branch. Its a lot of information to keep track of. I will say that being so involved with Research was my favorite part of joining SA. Getting to know all those amazing people and helping another branch make as much progress as I could was awesome and I can only hope that both Security and Research continue to work and fight for what they have. Shout outs What would a resignation post be without shout outs for all the people (or the ones I remember) that made my time on the server worth something. Its not about the Journey, its about the friends we make along the way. Mind: Bingus > Pingus, I'm sorry but its true. I could not have asked for a better mentor and friend for my time on this server. From when you where DHOS and I was a security OFC and I called you "Dough" like the homer simpson sound because I didn't know what "DHOS" stood for and wanted to mess with the guy with the furry pfp, to working side by side in HCMD and SA, you have been an amazing guy. Strong morals, and a genuinely nice guy, can't wait to enjoy our retirement by getting prim locked in some rust wipes. Stinky Furry Sixx: Bingus > Penis, again, sorry but its true. I remember raiding your office as a Lieutenant when you got DoRS and the pain staking process of making Juggernauts with you as SCMD. With you and Mind in SA and me leading Security, we were a force to be reckoned with. Even for a crayon eating marine with a "girlfriend" you are a really cool guy. Always very realistic and really knows how to talk to people. Can't wait to throw some rust CS matches and derank with you soldier o7. Sprink: The slinkiest little Spungis this side of the Mississippi. You have the most determination and dedication for your age that I have ever seen. Even with the times you get a little too zesty and rdm a Researcher for annoying you in D-Block, you have always been a great command member. Do me a solid and make it to HCMD this time, I know you have it in you. Jrshafer: My partner in crime, and a traitor! I can't believe that JFK and Elvis turned out to be the same 16 year old on a gmod server. Keep working hard and I'm sure youll get HCMD again in no time. Drizzle: I never thought you would be HOS but you have been doing a great job since you got it. You have come so far during your time in Security and I know you will keep improving. Don't let the flame die out! Alpha: I was hesitant to let this furry goofball back into HCMD but I'm glad I did. You have been a hard working and served Juggernauts and all of Security well. Even if you still did everything the old fashioned way Baby Arm: What a great choice for HCMD. You did amazing in Wardens and have been doing great in HCMD. Keep up the hard work and you can get wherever you want to be. Tyler: You have made is so far from so much hard work. You keep trying and giving everything 110% and it really shows. Congratz on HOR, keep up the hard work and I hope you see great results! Cryptonus: One of the great RFA members of our time. I know you and Domz will have a great time this summer hosting amazing operations for all of agencies. You have some great ideas for Research and I know you and Tyler will continue to be a killer team. Avalon: You were awesome man. Coolest Brazilian 110%. I'm sorry what happened with your reserves. Maybe ill see you again on the server in a different time. Jack Crest: One of the old Goats. It was great working with you in security, those were the good old days. Even if you were a stinky British Crust. PlantBruh: I still can't believed you pulled the bait and switch with your security reserves, unforgiveable. jk. You were always a driving force for Security in your time, thanks for being a great example for Security. Moonrose: I had such a fun time getting to know you and later working with you in Research. I'm sorry things ended on a sour note, hopefully we can play monopoly again sometime. Nydecore: What a great example for Research. Super active and dedicated. It was a shame to see you go but I hope things are going well wherever you end up. Smitty: What a goofball. You had some serious potential in Security and Research. You did great in RFA and HCMD. I wish you left things on a better note. Ven: You did great in Wardens and did well as HCMD. I wish you had left things on better conditions than when you did. Hopefully you are doing better than how you were. Coltable, Bop, Chief, and Kevlar: Thank you all for being great Managers during your time. Each of you did some awesome stuff that really showed your dedication to the server. Colt helped so much with Juggernauts in Security. Bop, you were super chill and really helped the server shine. Chief, you did a lot for the server and did great with the site-50 map change. Finally, Kevlar, you have really stepped into your role as Manager and doing exceptional. Keep working hard and I hope you can lead the server in a better direction. Piller: You have really stepped up to HoS and I think you'll continue to do a good job. Just try to steer things in the right direction. Hoovy: One of the single most goated O5 and SMT of all time. No one has every had the level of understanding, leadership, and professionalism that you had in SMT and SA. It seems like a good time to come back and clean up lol. Sparkle, Starstep, Skela: Yall were some of the most goated O5. All of you did so much for all the branches in a very chill and respectable way. Thank you for you hard work and dedication to the server. Weiss: Thanks for being a positive force for SA. I hope you can help steer things in the right direction. Julias: Thanks for being a based trainer and overall awesome guy. Now lets queue up and get my mg1 back, I don't want to be a nova scrub Assassin: We got up to some major tomfoolery from when I was a WO all the way to SCMD. Thanks for being a great mentor and such a nice guy. ICR: What a great and chill guy. Thanks for being a great HOPO and leader early on in my Security career. Meeseeks: What a goofball. Had such a good thing going and had to go and work with a ZJ alt. Seriously, your a chill guy and its been great being friends with you even after your little funny moment. Various other shout outs: Thanks to all you awesome people, here is a little name drop for those based individuals. Bucket, Matt2, Zboz, Greg, Cardigan, Coolcaz, Ezekiel, Krendel, Killaz, Lafleur, Turners, Marthan, Cintal, Gamehunter, Domz, Zitterman, ACEE, Levii, Stryker, Gigazet, Grizz, Ein, Laggy, Goat, Chineseman131, Chase, lookatdatface, Ender, Lovelock, Eevee, Sullivan, and many others. If I forgot your name I'm sorry but you know I wouldn't do it on purpose :). Peace out Yall2 points

What are you suggesting? - This has been on my mind, as well as what I assume is a lot of people's minds for a good while. This post is particular concerning the "Nobody" CC, although concerns all CCs that have decided to identify as "Neutral". I'm going to put it very bluntly, there is no place on SCPRP for a DarkRP Hitman. The idea of a job that is neutral to both the Foundation and CI is certainly quite intriguing, and if done right could definitely enhance roleplay, key words being "if done right". As of now, the "roleplay" introduced by the Nobody CC is as follows: Get paid by someone to do something, mostly involving killing a fellow Foundation member. Kill this Foundation member as well as any witnesses, then proceed to go on an RDMing spree once an AOS/KOS is inevitably called before dying. Then respawn and do it all over again. Why is this an issue? Because they will then proceed to immediately go back to being a hitman once NLR is over. This isn't roleplay, this is RDMing people with extra steps. So many times I've seen newer players get randomly killed by a Nobody CC, report them to staff, and ultimately be told that there's nothing the staff can do. And that brings up another issue, as far as I'm aware there are no rules in the MOTD regarding Neutral CCs. How are staff supposed to enforce rules on a job that doesn't have any rules written down to begin with? I am suggesting the immediate suspension of all "Neutral CCs" and have them be repurposed into D-Class CCs for the time being, at least until an actual set of guidelines and rules are put into place. What would these new rules be? I've got a few ideas. For one, they would now spawn on surface. Secondly, just because they neutral with the Foundation, it doesn't mean security personnel aren't going to freak out if they see some random dude in a trench coat running around. So realistically, if they are seen onsite without proper authorization Foundation personnel can AOS them at their discretion. This would go the same for CI, believe it or not a literal terrorist organization isn't going to like some random guys poking around in their business. Lastly, give them access to /open. This would allow them to RP their way onsite and gain actual clearance to be there. How would this change better the server? - Literally just make it so people don't have to worry about being randomly gunned down by a job that is supposed to be "Neutral". Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - It would make Neutral CC members sad they can't do whatever they want. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Everyone except Neutral CC members. SO! I've finally resigned. As most of you can probably tell, I had lost interest in the server a loooong time ago. I stuck around for all the goods friends i made but I neglected most if not all my duties as a member of HCOM. I have a good long history with this server and I hope to see it rise again! I'm gonna remain in staff at least and still have all my reserves. may activate them in the future idk. Shouts outs to: @Bon: been my valentine for 2 years in a row. the most hated brit that i know @Bear_: learned a lot from this WHACK grand general. but a great guy. @Starch: one of the first friends i made on the server. cant wait till you kill shock! @Rux: One of the better SMT imperial has had. only good Canadian! @Theta: Smells terrible and ill be hearing from him in his discord anyways. good friend of mine regardless @Frog: left me behind so hes no longer valid. @Zabuza: i had a lot of fun hating you. your an unmatched HCOM member! @Kio: i hated you sometimes but loved you in others. you for sure knew how to put work in though! wheat: never contact me again. @Mannplay more games that i can actually play im missing LOTS of people, but those are the ones off the top of my head. i loved working and playing this game with you all! ill be back soon.1 point

+Support -Activity -Responsibility -Attitude - Funny Man What a madlad. This guy hangs out and appears at my sims late at night. I remember him being there healing me and my bois in RP. He has experience in real life not mention the work he does as a moderator. I used to always remember getting healed by Terry all the time, and now I look down seeing Ganrik and Terry now lol. Ganrik didn't really speak much at first, but he's a great addition to the community. My favorite moment recently was him hosting a boxing sim with random STs and whoever was on. It was filled with belligerent people, so it was a boxing ring on top of a dance floor to simulate a lit barfight. Greatest sim I've helped with as a GM to date.1 point

HUGE SUPPORT +++ +Great person, has already become known in the community even if his time has been short, and has risen through the ranks fast +Application shows what he can bring to the officer team +His attitude is great and I think he can bring a lot to the officer team once given the chance +His activity and loyalty within Medical is great -Needs to enforce rules within the battalion more For the short while, Ganrik has proved himself to me as his Vice Marshal within Para, and I have seen and heard his dedication to our battalion, with his attitude of wanting to see us grow and how he already strives to do more than his quota and does SIMs, I think he has already proven himself to be more than qualified. With that being said, I believe he can struggle with understanding when to be serious during downtime, yet I believe that can easily be fixed once he joins the officer team and learns how to carry himself with that title. Overall, I believe he would make a great addition to the team and would welcome him with open arms!1 point
