General Suggestion - 208's Self-Defense - [Completed]

What are you suggesting? - That 208 should be able to use a *Pistol* in self-defense.

How would this change better the server? - This would allow the SCP that is basically just an advance medic to protect themself if they're being targetted by D Class or CI without just having to run and die eventually, plus it's a Level 100 job, I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be able to defend itself.

Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Maybe D-Class complaining that a medic killed them, but that's really it.

Who would this change mostly benefit? - People who play on 208, or people that wanna try out all the level 100 jobs.

It is completely in character for the foundation to give this scp a weapon of some sort, but keeping that weapon very weak. Since they obviously wouldn't want a valuable scp to be killed or harmed, arming it would help prevent that.

"Players are not allowed to intentionally shoot SCPs with the exception of SCP 035-1, SCP 049-2, SCP 076-2, SCP 194, SCP 682, SCP 939, SCP 966, SCP 1048, SCP 1048-A, SCP 2191, SCP 1245-2, SCP 1265-A, and SCP 5208." Rule 11 | Class Specific, all players section. If this is changed to include 208 then yes, give him a pistol, as it stands however its against rules to intentionally shoot 208.

I have tried to rectify this, semi-unsuccessfully, by having ACMs escort it. But, I've said it's been unsuccessful.

You know, I never actually thought of that rule when making 208. God, there's a ton of shit that being classed as an SCP does.

Though, the list doesn't include 7598 (CI's "dog"), 7101, 8286, 912, or 098. All of which are regularly shot at.

So, the rule needs to be updated with what can and can't be shot.

If 208 is excluded, a lot of people would be pissed because of it's ability.

So, update the list, and if 208 is on it, give it a gun. If it's not, there's no need to.

Well dry humping motd gets everybody nowhere. A class you wouldnt be allowed to kill that can heal and even revive your opponents is getting shot whether it likes it or not, we all know people would happily take some failrp warns for it without hesitation. So:

HUGE +Support. Give the man a gun. Just like, an m92 beretta or something.
