? You will be tested on it: Yes I have.

Timezone: Pacific Standard Time (PST)

Permission (Senior Moderator+ need this): N/A

Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum): I joined the Gaminglight community in the late 2018s to play on SCPRP servers. Back then, we were playing on the old map before everything was updated to what we know as of right now.  Something about the player base encouraged me to apply for staff as I have a tendency to perfect something I love. I put in the dedication to the things that I decide to do. Evidently, In the 7 months that I was staff, I achieved the peak rank of Admin and Senior event team member (Disclaimer: Demoted back to an event team member as I missed role-call).  However, due to personal problems, I had to forcibly resign from staff. Now that it is solved, I plan to continue serving for Gaminglight. One of the reasons which I believe I am qualified for the Trial Moderator position is my rich experience from the past. In the seven months in which I was active as a staff member of this community, I have familiarized myself with almost all of the admin commands, admin tools and been in many sits with numerous challenges and scenarios in which I all have experience. Furthermore, my experience in RP allows me to handle more sits on RP questions with precision and accuracy thus increasing my efficiency and versatility. Even more so, I am also capable of maintaining professionalism at all times which can be quite beneficial during sits. As an ex-staff, I heavily believe that everyone should deserve a second chance. Naturally, I practiced high respect for others despite if they are strangers, therefore, enabling me to hear both sides of the story with patience with an understanding attitude and thus, allowing me to make the best, and the most logical decision for the situation. Lastly, my strong sense of duty as a staff renders me as a viable candidate to qualify for a trial moderator. Similar to how I staffed in my previous service, I had little to no roleplay interaction once I became staff and dedicated myself only to be only on the admin job. This time, I plan to stick to that principle even tighter thus forcing myself to minimize interaction from all roleplay positions until I reach the rank of admin. As a result, this minimizes job switching time in a middle of an RP situation which e sudden absence in a serious RP environment and drastically decreasing the response time.  I once contributed something that I like, and now, I intend to continue doing so, if you would give me the chance.

How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? Assuming that this has occurred while I am roleplaying, I would immediately switch off the RP job upon notification and switch to the admin job. !cloak and !god. Then, I would proceed to claim the sit and go to the location the player is mass RDMing (!goto [player] or !noclip Note*: Noclip is not preferred as from my experience, it opens a window to interfere with RP causing MTFs to mistaken staff for cloaked CI infil). If confirmed that it is a case of mass RDM, then I would go ahead and bring the player to one of the four available staff sit rooms and isolate the player from the RP environment (!bring [Name]). From here on, it is all about making decisions and issuing punishment according to the situation (Does the player have NITRP? Does the player have numerous warns? Does the player play on the server a lot or is it just a player that plans to MRDM his/her's first time on?). Right off the bat, I would attempt to calm the player down and attempt to extract information on why he mass RDMed. I would then proceed to check logs (!blogs) to determine that the number of players he killed is, indeed, five. Now, given the question, the player has no intention of answering my question and disrespects me. After that, it is confirmed that there are two things that are given: The player is mass RDMing and he/she is disrespecting me. According to the staff handbook, an MRDM is already a 5+ day ban and a formal warning (!warn [player] [reason]) plus another formal warning for staff diss or 600s if 2nd offense added on to the already 5-day ban. When moderating, it is important to keep in mind that I, as a staff, am attempting to moderate to give players a positive experience not to just straight-up banning people; thus encourages me to not add any more unnecessary punishments. It is to be noted that after determining the least amount of time for issued punishment that as a trial moderator, I cannot issue jail time that exceeds 300s. This prompts me to call in an ADMIN+ to issue a long-term ban as moderator and SNR mod cannot issue a ban that exceeds 4+ hours. In the case that no Admin+ is online, I would contact the highest-ranking staff member and explain the situation to him/her and then request a punishment. After doing so, I would contact an SCPRP admin+ through either discord or TeamSpeak to update the ban to 5 days.

I've seen Garlic in game a few times and I've had no problems with him thus far. I've seen how professional he is and he's pretty neutral in everything that he does. He was a former staff member on SCP RP so he has SOME experience in staffing (but a lot has changed since then). He is well knowledge in the current staff handbook and he seems to be doing alright.

Never had any bad interactions with him, plus past experience with staffing is good.

Has a really unsettling voice though from what I heard, like its way too calm lmao

Becoming a staff member isn't for everyone (trust me, I know through my experience) and requires a lot of knowledge of the server. Those who have the most experience in the server clearly know how things work more then someone who just arrived. Not only do you know how to handle situations but you've here as long as me and it's a crime for this application to be denied. Although I never personally met you or really know you I can see great potential. The writing you did in this application was excellent. Well done.
