Gaminglight Related Discords and Documents/Spreadsheets

Hello everyone, as of today 03/27/2020, ALL Gaminglight related discords and documents, will be required to be owned by the designated server Manager or SMT member for your server. We are now putting this in place as we have had more then enough issues with situations where the SMT team and designated Manager couldn't do anything fix any issues or have had discords and documents wiped by players, staff and command staff who have played on our server.

 

Gaminglight related Discords.

• If you are the Owner of and Gaminglight related discord you MUST transfer ownership to your designated Server Manager for your server. The only people and roles who are meant to have the the permission "Administrator Permission" are only the Senior Management Team or Discord Bots.
  • What counts as a "Gaminglight Related Discord"? Well any discord that uses the Gaminglight name will count as a Gaminglight Discord. Any discords that are related to any Gaminglight servers (Department Discords, Regiment Discords, Sub Department Discords, Sub Regiment Discords etc.) will also count towards a Gaminglight related Discord.
  • When creating a Gaminglight related Discord there MUST be a "SMT" or "Server Management" related tag at the top of the roles of the discord which must always remain at the top of the roles and given to the Senior Management Team for that server.
  • If you have a Department Discord and then another Sub Department Discord within the your department you may be asked to put it all into one document to stop the cluster amount of discords across the community as a whole.

Possible Punishments for not following this.

• When it comes to stuff and situations like this we take these types of things very seriously which means if you do not follow this you are able to get punished some of punishments will be listed below.
  • If you are not going to follow this and you are an active Command Member within any of our servers you will not be welcomed anymore as a member of the command team and will be striped from your position and might possibly have a command ban.
  • If you are a Staff Member on one of our servers and to decide to not follow this you have the possibility to be striped of your staff position and your role-play position if it is a command rank. 

 

Gaminglight related Documents or Spreadsheets.

• If you are the Owner of and Gaminglight related document or spreadsheet you MUST transfer ownership to your designated Server Manager for your server. The only people who are to have access to edit any of the documents or spreadsheets will be the designated Command Team to edit as they please and possibly a couple from the Senior Management Team.
  • What counts as a "Gaminglight Related Document or Spreadsheet"? Well any document or spreadsheet that uses the Gaminglight name will count as a Gaminglight Document (Documents and spreadsheets such as Department or Regimental Rosters, Department or Regimental handbooks, SOPs, Training Documents, Applications, etc.)
  • When creating a document for any Gaminglight server you MUST make sure that you get approval from your Senior Management Team/High Command Team in order for it to be in use and ready for your server, this is also how you would transfer ownership to a Senior Management Team member or your designated Server Manager.

I dislike it. In my opinion, someone shouldn't be forced to transfer ownership to a person they might not even know.

the ideas good but our current status isn't working for this, the jacks have a discord but the council of jacks should be able to administrate its own discord. we wouldn't mind letting you guys have access to our roster and other stuff, but taking it over and us not having word in it is bs. we are the managers of the discords and spreadsheets and we know what we want. and it'd end up being a whole new clan for you guys to look at test scores, the roster, riot participation, and more. if I could meet a compromise with someone that manages this like iggy it'd be amazing

to add onto this we aint really an official thing just got a bunch of people with the jack name and made a discord to communicate easier.

Also after reading the message you said, it looked to me as if it was going to be fully implemented and is considered apart of the role play experience or an official part of a branch. If that's the case would D-class groups, like the jacks and the italian mafia be affected by this, mainly the discords. Because the jacks have a discord but it mainly just for communication and for memes. And if all I need is for some member of SMT to be apart of it with admin role then I'm cool with that. But if they were to come in and become the new owners basically I don't understand that since it only has some correlation with gaminglight and is not apart of the actual server and not in a direct connection with the server.

Talk with your designated Manager for the server you play on and they will be able work with you on it
