Lore Name: gameboi Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 999 Object Class: Safe Question / Idea: SCP-999 has been observed to heal subjects but the time it takes the scp to heals has not been completly tested. Background Research: SCP-999 contains abilities that can change a subjects emotions, like changing anger into mild euphoria. it has sometimes been observes that cuts and damage in subjects bodies have been repaired by the scp before. Hypothesis: As it has not been proven how fast and powerfull the healing abilities of scp-999 are, my hypothesis is a comparison of modern medical technology to the scp. normally to cure a wound it takes around a day or more depending on the size of the wound, so the same or less should be expected for the scp. Observations (What Happened During Test): For the test we brought an injured D class subject into the laboratory test room. in preparation we prepared a clock and gave scp-999 the request to heal the subject. Scp-999 then proceeded to heal the subject in a rather fast pace. it could be deduced that the scp healed 10% of the subjects health in 2.34 second intervals. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): SCP-999 is still not fully understood but the test shows the great potential the scp has. This potential means we could increase the speed and power of the heals the scp produces. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No, SCP-999 possess great healing abilities that need to be analyzed further

<Checking clearance level...> . . . . . . . . . . . . . . <Approved> Lore Name: Wizard Rank: Researcher SCP: 999 Object Class: SAFE assistant/spectators: Non Security : MFT E11 MSGT Question / Idea: I was thing that SCP-999 could sense and then track down a stressed/depressed person. Background Research: SCP-999 appears to be a large, amorphous, gelatinous mass of translucent orange slime, weighing about 54 kg (120 lbs) with a consistency similar to that of peanut butter. The surface of SCP-999 emits a pleasing odor that differs with whomever it is interacting with. In addition to its playful behaviour, SCP-999 seems to love all animals (especially humans), refusing to eat any meat and even risking its own life to save others, even leaping in front of a person to take a bullet fired at them Hypothesis: As mentioned in the background information, SCP-999 love human and try's to help where it can. I think that SCP-999 can and will sense unhappy, sad, depressed or otherwise bad emotions. Then track them down anyone who is mentally unstable/not in the right shape of mind and help them, rather then finding already "happy people" to be with. Observations (What Happened During Test): I bought a D-Class who was diagnosed with depression The MFT unit bought the D-Class to one end of the maze while I went to the other side to hide. after this SCP-999 was allowed into the room, almost instantly SCP-999 went to the other side of the maze and tracked down the "Depressed" D-Class. I took about 5 to 6 mins for SCP-999 to find where the D-Class , howeverSCP-999 knew that there was on one on the other side which need it's help. After this SCP-999 help the D-Class. Then we did normal protocol and took the D-Class to Med bay for class A. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): SCP-999 has almost like a 6th sense, not only can SCP-999 differentiate between people's emotions, SCP-999 is ably to track them down due to feeling there emotions. Lore Name: Dr.Crumpets Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: SCP-999 Question / Idea: Would exposure to SCP-999 cure psychological trauma which can be the reason for split-personalities? Background Research: SCP-999 has exhibited signs of being a potential anti-depressant and has boosted the facilities morale ever since it was contained, whilst split-personalities emerge due to past-trauma that formed the personalities as a coping mechanism. Hypothesis: SCP-999 would cure/alleviate the Dissociative Identity Disorder of the subject Observations (What Happened During Test): The test subject D-Class was instantly happy when it came in contact with SCP-999, but "restarted" its attitude to 999 when it switched personalities, the cycle continued for 7 more personalities. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: The D-Class which identified as "Visitorzzz" played with 999 and enjoyed its interaction, until the test subject stood still and seemingly forgot about the SCP-999 and started asking in a rude tone and referred to himself as "Abe", which was followed by more personalities ranging from a supposed australian to a navy captain. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): The test was a "failure" as it did not outright cured the mental issue of the test subject, it may be because of the age of the D-class and the personalities have already cemented into the subjects mind. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: Partially Correct.

Lore Name: Associate Researcher Dr. Westings, MS PhD Rank: Associate Researcher of the Foundation Department of Research. SCP: SCP-999; Safe-Class Question / Idea: Is the psychological reaction to SCP-999 exposure anomalous or biochemical in nature? Background Research: - https://www.healthline.com/health/eeg#uses "An EEG is used to detect ... electrical activity of the brain ..." - https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/pet-scan/about/pac-20385078 "Pictures from a PET scan display bright spots where the radioactive tracer collected. These spots reveal higher levels of chemical activity ..." - https://www.neuroscientificallychallenged.com/blog/2014/6/11/know-your-brain-nucleus-accumbens "The most widely recognized function of the nucleus accumbens is its role in the "reward circuit" of the brain. ..." Hypothesis: The neurological reaction to SCP-999 is rooted in currently-understood biochemistry, induced through an as-of-yet unknown means. Observations (What Happened During Test): One (1) Class-D was hooked up to EEG and CT-PET imaging devices and exposed to SCP-999. Data was downloaded onto a hard drive in real time and was analyzed by radiology certified medical personnel. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: CT-PET and EEG data is available for peer-review and additional study. Please notify Dr. Westings and contact Site-05 Archive staff for a full, detailed copy of the data and its analysis. Item ID: L2/999/R74AJ48H Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Have Caused The Results): Analysis of CT and EEG readouts showed increased activity specific to the nucleus accumbens, confirming that SCP-999's effect is indeed biochemical. Further research should be conducted to determine whether said neurological reaction is anomalously induced or an unknown but explainable biological reaction to SCP-999. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: Yes, my hypothesis was indeed correct.

Lore Name: Researcher Kitty Rank: Researcher SCP: SCP-999 Question / Idea: If 999 is given 2 buttons (1 that dispenses candy, another that doesnt) and gets the 1st set of button correct, if the buttons are switched, will 999 pick the button that gave out candy before or will 999 choose a random button? Background Research: 999 is reported to be sentient, have a brain of its own, etc. Hypothesis: I believe 999 WILL press the same button that used to give candy, in an attempt to get more candy. Observations (What Happened During Test): After the buttons were set up, 999 began pressing buttons when it was told. It first off started in-correctly and didn't choose the correct button. It then moved on to the other button, which dispensed the candy. After we switched the buttons, 999 tried to press the same button, in an attempt to get more candy. 999 was very confused and pressed the button multiple times. 999 then moved on to the next button and earned its candy. The buttons were removed from 999's CC and 999 was given some more extra candy, as a reward. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: (NONE) Conclusion: SCP-999 IS capable of learning, and may eventually learn how to do things on its own. (Like that dinosaur scene in Jurassic Park where the Dinosaur learns to open the door and enters the room the protagonists are in) (PS, sorry for not including the conclusion before)

Name: Fish Rank: AR SCP: SCP-513 SCP-999, SCP-500, SCP-294. List of Personnel involved in testing: One class Level D Personnel involved(if any): One security LCPL in case the D-Class try's to escape. And when the dclass rung SCP-500 me and the security LCPL Risks/Safety Precautions: I had the security LCPL in case the D-Class try's to escape. And when the dclass rung SCP-513 me and the security LCPL were at a save distance away while the D-Class rung SCP-513 while he was monitored on a camera. Background Research: If you ring SCP-513 you will go insane and start hallucinating. When you eat SCP-500 it cures any disease or illness that you have. If you type "life" into SCP-294 a red liquid will come out that heals you. And when SCP-999 touches you he makes you very happy, and SCP-999 can also heal depression. What I’m teaching/testing: I am testing if any SCP's can heal the effects of SCP-513 Observation: When the D-Class rung SCP-513 I have him SCP-500. After 5 minutes he was still going insane and seeing things. After we brought him to SCP-513 I punched in "life" to the keypad because the D-Class was shaking to much. He spilled some of the liquid out but he managed to drink most of it. but that still did not work. Next we brought him to SCP-999 and as 999 ticked him he did feel better he stopped shaking but as soon as 999 left he started the doing all the symptoms once again. Conclusion: nothing can revert the symptoms of SCP-513

Background Research:I read the morse code test on SCP-131 and many test on SCP-999 reactions. Hypothesis:SCP-131 may have a reaction that we never see. Observations (What Happened During Test):When SCP-131 encounter SCP-999, he starts jumping around him and try to "hug" him, SCP-999 begins to cover him partially except for the eye. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results):It seems that SCP-131 may reacts this way because of the effect of SCP-999, further test required. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?:I can't say my hypothetis was correct or no that's why we need to do more test.

Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 List of Personnel involved in testing: CPL Dirtydan(Escort). Level D personnel involved: One, Gryzzo. SCP: 999 Errors and/or safety hazards: Other SCPs interfering with experiment or a DEFCON below the level of 4. Question: Will SCP-999 emit a different scent while hugging someone that differs from said person's scent if they already smell like one of the scent's SCP-999 emits. Background Research: SCP-999 emits scents while hugging personnel, some of these include chocolate, clean laundry, roses, play-doh, and more. These scents seem to be pleasing to must humans. This could be to please the personnel that 999 is hugging more. Hypothesis: SCP-999 will recognize and change the scent of the D-Class Personnel even if they already smell like one the previous scents that 999 has emitted. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): The D-Class personnel that was sprayed in a chocolate scent was hugged thoroughly by SCP-999, then SCP-999 was lured away with candy and then ran off. Analysis and Conclusion: When the D-Class personnel was smelled when SCP-999 finished hugging, the D-Class Personnel still remained with the scent of chocolate. This could mean that SCP-999 can detect if the personnel already smells pleasant and won't change the scent of the personnel it hugs, further testing with different scents could be required. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: The results of the experiment do not align with my hypothesis, results contradict hypothesis as SCP-999 might be able to detect pleasant scents on the person it hugs.

Name: JR Plant Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 List of Personnel involved in testing: JR Plant, MTF [REDACTED] Amount of D class involved: 0 SCP: SCP-999 Question: What is SCP-999's favorite flavor of ice-cream? Background Research: SCP-999's diet consists of candy, so it should be familiar with the provided ice-cream flavors. Hypothesis: SCP-999's favorite flavor ice-cream is mint chocolate-chip. Observation: When chocolate, vanilla, mint chocolate-chip, neapolitan, and strawberry ice-cream were presented to SCP-999 and it was instructed to choose it's favorite, SCP-999 sampled each of the flavors. SCP-999 proceeded to engulf the chocolate ice-cream in it's entirety, indicating that it was SCP-999's favorite flavor. Conclusion: SCP-999's favorite flavor of ice-cream is chocolate. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: No.

Question: Will 999 be able to negate the effect of 513. Background Research: 999 is known to calm people and cure mental ilness, 513 is known to cause mental ilness. Hypothesis: 999 will be able to fully remove any effects that SCP-513 has. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): N/A. Analysis and Conclusion: D-Class entered 513 CC with instructions of ringing it, then comming out and hugging 999. D-Class did this without failure, while D-Class was in contact with SCP-999 the effects of 513 were not present, with the subject suffering from neither anxiety nor hallucinations, after 999 was removed from the subject, Hallucinations swiftly returned to the D-Class, but anxiety remained absent. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: No, i expect full negation of the effects even after removal of 999, sadly that did not happen, but if we do find a way to produce 999's slime along with its anomalous properties, we might be close to a way of negating the effects permenantly. Form Title: SCP-999 ~ Research 10/20/2019 (Addendum 999.1): 10/22/2019. Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 List of Personnel involved in testing: Junior Researcher John Black (myself), Security JRCF Sergeant Anti Flame, (Addendum 999.1) SO Bruhhhhh Level D personnel involved: 1 2 SCP: 999 Errors and/or safety hazards: D-class will be subjected to stimulants. Question: Do SCP-999's anti-depressant and sedative properties affect people on stimulants? Background Research: SCP-999 has a jelly-like property and can induce euphoria if touched. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hypothesis: SCP-999 will not be able to sedate and induce euphoria on a subject under the influence. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): D-001 being introduced to SCP-999 during drug-induced hysteria. The subject was hostile and speaking gibberish: SCP-999 attempting to hug subject (second time): Addendum 999.1: D-002 reacting psychotically after ingesting 3 oz of SCP-999 and being injected with stimulants: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Test Log (conducted 10/20/2019): D-001: D-class was brought into the safe testing chamber with SCP-999. He was administered Dextroamphetamine and restrained by security. After allowing time to pass, D-001 entered into a psychotic state and SCP-999 was asked to hug him. After two attempted hugs, D-001 showed zero response to SCP-999's special properties and attempted to assault SCP-999. Testing was ended and D-001 was taken to the med bay for amnestics and medical aid. Addendum 999.1 (conducted 10/22/2019): D-002: D-class was brought into the safe testing chamber and administered equivalent amount of Dextroamphetamine as D-001. However, D-002 was forced to imbibe 3 oz of SCP-999s jelly. The following recording was taken during D-002's testing. Approximately 10 minutes after injection, D-002 began to act increasingly psychotic and hostile, showing zero reaction to the 3 oz of SCP-999 he ingested. SCP-999 attempted to hug him but was rebuffed by D-002, who declared he was going to "kill" SCP-999. D-002 was taken to the medical bay for amnestics and treatment. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Analysis and Conclusion: Although SCP-999 has the special property to induce euphoria on anything he touches, it appears that subjects under the influence of stimulants become immune to this. This information gives us insight that SCP-999's properties may interact chemically and thus may be harnessed for use. Furthermore, SCP-999 may not be able to contain other SCP's if they are under the influence as well, but that would require separate cross-testing. Addendum 999.1: After a fellow researcher suggested making a d-class imbibe SCP-999 to test the drug suppression effect (fantastic suggestion, by the way.) I took it upon myself to test this. Testing revealed that imbibing at least 3 oz of SCP-999 did nothing to counteract the stimulants. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Yes, it did. I gave SCP-999 two opportunities to "hug" D-001 and neither of them caused the latter to calm down or counteract the drugs in his system. Addendum 999.1: It has come to my attention that subjects who are under the influence of stimulants not only seem immune to SCP-999's sedative and euphoric effect but actually display increased hostility towards SCP-999. In both scenarios, the D-class involved attempted to attack SCP-999 and expressed an urge to kill it. This is a potentially distressing result and may require further testing. Note: Addendum 999.1 was recommended by Schölinger, and the credit for the idea to ingest SCP-999 goes to them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Approved by the Director of Research and Security and the Head of Research. For use in Site-05. Secure, Contain, And Protect.

Official SCP Testing Log THIS DOCUMENT IS CLASSIFIED Level-2/999 Clearance REQUIRED Name: Junior Researcher Westings Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 (Two) List of Personnel involved in testing: Myself, Dr. Gears, Security LCPL Snuffles, and D-8436 Amount of D class involved: 1 (One); D-8436 SCP: SCP-999 Errors and/or safety hazards: None Question: What is the internal, biological source of the enhanced dopamine production due to exposure to SCP-999? Background Research: Preliminary reports show that SCP-999 is capable of dramatically and nigh-instantaneously increasing the happiness of individuals who come into direct physical contact with it. This line of research is intended to determine the exact process by which this phenomenon occurs. Hypothesis: Judging by the fact that SCP-999 is itself anomalous, my hypothesis is that SCP-999's behavioral effects are summoned anomalously and by impossibly vague means, such as the spontaneous appearance of dopamine hormones in the nervous system. Observation: An electrode was surgically implanted into D-8436's superior, medial prefrontal cortex by Dr. Gears in order to detect brain activity relevant to the test. Upon exposure to SCP-999, dopamine was released extremely quickly, much more so than a typical response would indicate. This implies that my hypothesis holds true, and the reaction to SCP-999 is an anomalous process, rather than a biochemical one. Test Records (Photos/Videos): No pictures or videos were taken due to the redundancy of both documenting and recording this procedure. Analysis: Brain activity peaks were extremely rapid and occurred within milliseconds, suggesting that SCP-999 is literally inserting dopamine compounds into the brain by unknown means, potentially via space-time translocation (commonly referred to as teleportation). Conclusion: As stated previously, SCP-999's effects are beyond the current understanding of biochemical neurology, and potentially particle physics, meaning that the effects of SCP-999 are unnatural and anomalous in nature. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: Yes. Remarks: This line of research may be continued at a later date to determine if any of the data collected can be applied meaningfully. An example may include artificial SCP-999 gel synthesis for usage in medications, such as antidepressants and pain relievers. However, the likelihood of successfully creating SCP-999's gel is almost zero, given our current luck in recreating similar anomalous phenomena. The contents of this document are CLASSIFIED (L-2/999) Unauthorized possession of this document is grounds for Class-D redesignation and/or termination.

Name: Junior Dev Util Res Bleach Rank: Junior Researcher Question/Preferred Outcome: What temperature will 999 recover in the fastest? Required escorts/Test Subjects: 1 escort, 0 d class Observations/ Analysis: During my test I discovered that the warmer the temperature the faster SCP-999 recovers. -Test 1: During the first test we kept the temperature at Room temperature [69 °F]. After taking a small piece of 999 it took about 71 minutes [999 rolled 71] to heal fully although taking a bigger piece of course will take longer to heal this is still not too long considering it doesn’t affect 999 negatively. -Test 2: During the second test I turned the labs temperature all the way down to 0°F.Then I proceeded to take the same size piece of 999 after waiting about 93 minutes [999 rolled 93] to fully heal and return 999 to its original state while not dramatically increasing the time it is still good information to know just in case someone tried to steal pieces of 999 for testing or other reasons. -Test 3: During the final test we set the temperature up to 115°F. Then I took the same size piece as the previous test and before I know it 99 was healing a lot faster. After about 13 minutes [999 rolled 13] 999 was already back to its joyful jiggly self. Any Failures or Faults while testing:N/A How can we improve containment: In conclusion we can help contain 999 while injured by keeping him in a hot room which allows him to heal at high rates. This information will allow us to test and use 999;s healing ability more often without causing a lot of damage to 999 because this will help us make sure 999 is always healthy before tests.
