Field Officer Application - Nova
99 dead raccoons replied to Deshon F. 2B-221's topic in Archive Copy
This man has been putting in the WORK for Nova! I first spoke to Field the day he first joined the server. He told me he really enjoyed guarding-based regiments and I tried to familiarize him with the different ones on the server. He fell onto Nova and has stuck with it since and I have never seen him fail to do his job properly. With this man as an officer I believe Nova will be in great shape. Best of luck Mr. Field! -
Good DT NCO. Follows rules to the T.

+ MEGA SUPPORT - Busch has prior low command experience from before his current standing in naval. - Always one of the most fair and genuine people I have interacted with in Naval. - Was once Security Director, he has experience with positions similar to Kallus. - Always on top of his duties Busch was one of my favorite people I met from naval, I can say I would love to see him in this position. Best of luck my friend!

At the time this was posted I agreed with this, but I'd like to make it a +SUPPORT now You've shown great activity and commitment to the betterment of the battalion, and I think you'd make a fine NCO.

[In-Game Name] Racc [Call-sign] BE3/S44 [Rank] 1LT [Which lore squad member are you applying for] M36, Medical Specialist [Why do you believe you deserve this position] I believe I deserve this position because of the commitment I have to the betterment of DT, as well as the prior knowledge I have with medical roleplay. Currently I sit at 6+ hours of activity per day, with the majority of that time spent on the DT job. I have consistently hosted simulations and missions for the battalion, as well as getting other regiments involved within them as well. I have a focus on the improvement of the battalion, and I believe being apart of this squadron can open the doors for even more opportunities for me to show pride in DT, and I will capitalize on each and every opportunity that comes my way. I also have the past experience in medical roleplay, having previous been a CPT in the 69th Medical Corps on the server, and was the Vice Marshal (Vice Lead) of Rescue Squadron, who are combat surgeons who specialize in combat healing. This prepares me for being ready for the medical specialist role that I would be serving as M36, as well as for setting an example and precedent for what future expectations of the squad will be. [Why do you want to be a part of Unit TI-23] I want to be a part of TI-23 to show exactly why DT are considered the best of the best. This regiment had welcomed me with open arms as a transfer, and I would like to return that with putting all my effort into the pioneering of this new squadron, setting an example and precedent for what future members of TI-23 will be held to. I also thoroughly enjoy RP experiences, and I believe having a tight-knit group that is consistently working together within their own specialties will open up the doors for so many more opportunities for the RP involved within DT. I think with utilizing my past medical RP knowledge, there could be a lot more opportunities for RP that I would be able to bring to the squad, which would add to my experience and enjoyment in Deathtroopers. [What does Unit TI-23 do] TI-23 specializes in all aspects of Death Trooper operations, which include but are not limited to VIP protection, Assassinations, Interrogations, and Data Extractions. TI-23 takes these to the next level however, in which I believe they will perform some of these operations with the odds completely against them. They are to be a coherent unit that works in unison with each serving their own purpose and contributing their piece to the squadron. The goal of the medical specialist, M36, is to support the squadron through healing and ammo resupplying to make sure they can push through to complete the objective. They can also act as a source of healing and additional protection on a VIP, which is useful in combat situations to ensure the VIP remains in strong enough condition to be on the battlefield safely. [How active can you be] I can be active for anywhere between 6+ hours daily, usually lying between the hours of 12pm-12am EST. [Do you understand that if you are accepted into Unit TI-23, you will be on a 1-strike system] Yes, I understand completely.

Thanks for all the fun! Even as a high command member when I was rising the ranks of medical the first time around you were always super helpful to me. Hope to see you again on the ISD sometime!

MAJOR + SUPPORT - Active - Great leader and teacher - Amazing person - Dedicated to the betterment of the regiment I wouldn't be anywhere as good of a DT if it weren't for EG6. In my personal opinion I believe he would be the strongest of the potential candidates.

[In-Game Name] Racc [Call-sign] BE3 [Rank] 1LT [Which lore squad member are you applying for] F16, Squad Leader [Why do you believe you deserve this position] I believe I deserve this position because of the initiative I am willing to take in almost any scenario. Even as a fairly recent member of DT, within the first week of my transfer I had already held the position of ground command during a Mega Event off-map, taken a primary role in commanding the troopers of the ISD. I believe I have strong leadership skills that I am always willing to put to the test. I am also a committed member to the regiment, always willing to host trainings and missions whenever available to do so. I have leadership experience as well prior to DT, being a CPT in the Medical Corps (and vice lead of my respective sub-regiment), I am not a stranger to the duties and responsibilities expected of a leader. I would be willing to commit my time and effort to making sure that this squadron would be running at their peak, and help bolster the idea that DT is the best of the best, and capitalize on the idea that TI-23 are the elite of the already elite regiment. I believe this position, especially since this is the inaugural formation of the squadron, needs someone who is willing to work closely with Command, as well as be able to independently work and critically think on their own, as well as make decisions for the squadron on a whim. I believe my abilities to critically think and process information quickly whilst under pressure, as well as my openness to suggestions and criticism, will help me do this position justice, and really showcase the full potential of this squadron, if given the privilege to lead it. I believe being able to experience this first-hand would strongly encourage me to perform at my maximum potential, which overall would be helping me grow as a leader, and as a person as well. The goal of the leader in which I am applying for would be to manage the squad and make sure that they all perform their duties in order to maximize the efficiency of the unit as a whole. This would allow for the squadron to perform their duties, responsibilities, and tasks assigned to them with no faults. They are to set an example for other DT what it means to be apart of the elite, and help the regiment grow in its coherence while working together, and overall assist the regiment in increasing its efficiency in combat, as well as in various RP scenarios. [How active can you be] I can be active for anywhere between 4-6 hours daily, usually lying between the hours of 12pm-12am EST. [Do you understand that if you are accepted into Unit TI-23, you will be on a 1-strike system] Yes, I understand completely.

1: What's you're in-game name and rank? (Ex: MC S SPC Hex 0084): MC RLM PFC Racc 4426 2: What's your timezone?: EST 3: What's your SteamID?: STEAM_0:0:83173032 4: How often will you be able to be active and at what times?: I can be active for at least 4-6 hours per day. Usually anywhere in the times between 12pm-12am. 5: Why should we trust you as a Medical NCO?: I have the experience within Medical Corps on Gaminglight, I am familiar with the rules and regulations of the regiment, as well as what my expected responsibilities would be. I would be able to put time and effort using my previous knowledge in order to once again work for the betterment of the regiment. 6: Why should you be a Medical NCO?: I have prior experience recently within the regiment. As my activity has once again increased, I would be able to help the regiment again. I believe I have a reputation from my previous time in the battalion that supports my claim in saying I would be able to assist the regiment in every way I am able. I also showed great commitment to my sub-regiment in my previous time in medical, and I would like to continue that work and help support medical as a whole, as well as some of the other aspects of it as well. 7: Why should we accept your application over other applications?: I believe my experience and previous reputation help reinforce my merit within the regiment. I am passionate about the RP in the regiment, always stay on top of my quotas, and always would follow the rules and regulations regarding the SOP. I also work well with others, and am eager to work with the regiment once again. 8: Do you have any warns? (And what for?): I have no warns.

While the timing of this being posted is shortly after Keegan's removal, I highly doubt that he is grabbing at trying to get his rank back (as I have seen multiple individuals post). If there is anything I have learned during my time on this server, it is that bias plays an extreme role in high command (although I am sure some would deny it). There is evidence in Keegan's post here of direct favoritism towards individuals, completely overstepping the wishes of others. While yes as Manager/Emperor he does hold this power, I do beg the question, why can any one individual have complete control over a community of players? The removal of reserves is an absolute atrocity in my opinion. Many people have earned their right to those positions, putting in countless hours of work and time into the community, only to have something they earned stripped away simply because someone doesn't like how long a list is (ctrl+F exists, it's really easy to just search through an excel sheet). The removal of these reserves from players who have earned them is just ridiculous. Also many of these updates that will encourage retention of players seem to just be on the back burner, lost in a mess of work. I understand, we all have lives outside of this community, but at the same time, this community is somewhat similar to a business. Think of the players as a clientele, staff team as the employees. It is a staff's member job to keep the clientele happy, in order to retain their business. While the server was hitting peak numbers in past months, it does need to be considered the timing (holiday break) and the circumstances (still in the midst of a pandemic), what happens when these circumstances change? If updates aren't pushed out frequently enough, we will see drops in player counts. As someone who has spoken to Hotshot before, I do not think he is a bad person whatsoever. These are just my beliefs on the state of mismanagement of expected responsibilities and duties.
