I said it wasn’t too harmful as the reason me saying it was funny was just a take on the subject gensec can go down there without perms as an SM+ and SMs can grant perms to go down along with snipers having perms to enter LDB as well so gensec can definitely handle it while i can accept that there should at least be moderation on if sarkic are spawncamping other than that i see no issue as it can spice up the experience for others

(150 WORDS+): I want to be senior command for many reasons. Ever since joining this branch I have wanted to change it for the better and this would allow me to further help out. I have seen many things that I would like to be able to do from helping out in the punishment request channel, to helping set straight my juniors, and even change the opinion other branches hold of us by being an amazing leader. Being HoPo can help show that I strive to allow all ranks to have fun in order to keep up activity and I frequently host giveaways when I don't host PTs or Off meetings. Even when I don't host the Off meetings or PTs I always strive to at least facilitate them so the lower ranks can have fun still. My insane activity and friendly nature serve to show that I will be on a great amount of the time and that I will be a kind but firm leader that will do my best. I intend to keep a watchful eye not only for troublemakers, but for people who set themselves apart from the others. I intend to help this branch grow to the best of my ability and it has been shown in my actions as command. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I Would first pull the officer aside and ask him why he keeps leaving D block and if he is aware he needs permission. Depending on his reply I will take different actions. If he says he has permission I will ask for the name and confirm it and if his story checks out I will send him on his way and apologize for taking up his time but if he doesn't have perms and he is aware of the rules I will explain to him that this is unacceptable behavior and if I see him continue this he will be removed. If he doesn't have perms but doesn't know the rule I will take the time to explain to him he needs SGT+ permission to leave D block unless they are going AFK and then send them on their way 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I Would pull the NCO aside and explain to them that they can't keep just abusing their power to leave D Block because it sets a bad example for the lower ranks and that as an NCO, they should aim to be a role model to them and follow the rules. I will then explain to them that this kind of behavior will result in punishments if continued and that they shouldn't let this happen again. If they continue I will issue a strike and then a demotion if they cannot stop with their behavior. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I will take the E11 aside and explain to them that not only do they need explicit perms from higher members in command, but that they have no authority over Security and if they do not leave I will report them to E11 command. I will then ask them to refrain from entering D block unless given perms from the right people. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: I Will explain to the soon to be SGT that I am extremely proud of them! Going to SGT is a big step and now there will be even more duties for them to uphold. I Will explain to them that there is quite a few things to go over for becoming SGT and that we can start with the fact they can now call protocols on code Orange Black And Red now and that its is highly encouraged to do this when able to. They also will be told that not only can they be trained for snipers without having to have restrictions lowered, but they can also join the FTO program and that not only does it look good to higher ups but it's a good way to get promoted! I Will then explain to them that there are a few more things to be aware of, from the requirement to have a forums account (Which i will explain how to make), but they also can access the NCO Channels! I Will tell them that making constant logs that fit the requirements look outstanding for you and it also helps command know who is on and deserves a promotion in addition to them. As a last thing, I Will inform them that if they keep up the great work, Command may not just be a dream and it may be in the future and I will inform them how to apply for command when the applications open up. No Have you read the staff handbook? yes Timezone: EST (I'm Normally on around 3pmEST weekdays and most of the time on weekends) Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) I believe that I should be given a shot at the Staff Team for a few reasons. The first of which is ever since I joined this community, I've had a deep passion for this server and a desire to help it in anyway I can. Secondly, I have noticed that the hours I'm on there has been a lot of troublemakers and I would be honored to be able to help out. I've also recently started to take this server more seriously in a few ways. My Security Captain rank shows that I am dedicated to this server and I want to help it grow to be the best it can be. I also have been putting in tons of hours to play this server (1361 total hours). I would like to be able to help staff on the server as a way of giving back to the place that helped me truly find a home on Garry's Mod. Scenario questions: Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? If I took a sit and the person the sit was made on started swearing like a sailor, I would firstly gag them and explain that this is no way to treat people on the server and he should take time to reflect afterwards. Then I would ask the person who made the sit to present their evidence while I check logs as well to confirm their story. Once I watch the clip and check logs I would then go over and calmly explain to the suspect in question that they have been confirmed to have Mass RDM'd and that I will have to issue a warning and I will be contacting my higher ups for a 5 day ban. I will then explain to them that they can use this time to reflect and come back ready to play once the ban is lifted. After that, I will go over to the person who made the sit and explain that the perpetrator will be dealt with and that they will be returned momentarily. After returning the player I will warn the perpetrator and contact a higher up to issue the ban. Before I do that though, I will explain that if they think the decision is wrong they can go to the forums to appeal this decision and link them the page for it. Q3: In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving? I will explain to the person that their punishment should serve as a few things. The first is that it should be a reminder that they should start following the rules to avoid more punishments, and the second is that It can be viewed as a sort of second chance (If the punishment is minor) and that they can come back better from this. I will then link them the appeal section of the forums in case they have a change of heart so they can appeal the decision Q4: There is a player abusing a known bug, and he has been reported to staff. He swears he followed the server rules when you talk with him. What's the best way to handle this? I will first explain to him that what he did was a known bug and there are consequences to what he did and I will inform him that he will be punished accordingly (Punishment varies depending on bug) and that he can appeal the decision on the forums and then I will link the forums section to him. I will also inform him that if he thinks something is amiss about a certain part of the game that there is a forums section to check out bug reports and If he finds another bug to report it on the forums. I will then inform him that even though he is being punished, this is not the end of the world and he still has a chance to continue, but he needs to be more careful.
