  1. -Support Not really needed tbh, plus could cause server issues, which isn't needed in a server that gets an average of 100+ players a day.
  2. +Support As someone who started the server with maintenance and had a couple staff run-ins, I believe this a lot. If you follow the self-defense rules fully, you wont even have time to draw your weapon when someone shoots first. I don't know how this will turn out, but in the end I still do believe that the self-defense rules either need to be modified, or non-combatants should not be allowed to be freely killed.
  3. +Support This is personally something that I have agreed with for a long time. SCP-682 is always constantly played and his breaches ruin the fun of many low ranking players, while SCP-457 never really gets touched. It would be in the best interest of the players and the sake of additional roleplay.
  4. -Support CI has their own death machine they can make, and it seems you didn't even speak to anyone in MTF about it.
  5. -Support Slueth exists so this is not needed.
  6. -Support This simply isn't needed, as a sneaky SCP-035 can get into armory easily and amass followers with good firearms.
  7. +Support I've seen it happen and despite the normal Riot restrictions, it is hell to deal with when the camping starts.
  8. -Support This is just a complainer's way to try and get an unfair advantage over SCP-682. A normal roll like everything else in the server is fine.
  9. +Support Seems like a fun addition that with some tweaks could be an interesting new entity to kill us all eventually.
  10. +Support This seems very reasonable, as such metagame can be quite bullshit. I've seen it happen involving a 343 and Maynard and it's quite annoying.
  11. When it comes to such tests, I wonder if Doctor Bright has something to do with it. I have never seen SCP-173 display such activity, which makes me wonder if something more is at play.
  12. I am going to admit, I am not sure who in logistics thought it was a smart idea to include Ketamine in our supply, but damn it seems like it worked. Just don't let Doctor Bright in on the fact we have such drugs.
  13. It is unfortunate that the results of the test were to be expected. However it does get me an idea for a future test idea of my own.
  14. Interesting...it never crossed my mind that such interesting data could be yielded from such a massive disaster such as a Keter breach. I will have to keep an eye out for such situations. Excellent work making a note of it.
  15. [Clearance Level Three Access Required] A Test involving the black corrosive liquid from SCP-035 and how it reacts to various extreme temperatures.
  16. Your Full Name and Rank?: My in-game name and rank is Experienced Researcher Balancer. Why have you chosen to pursue specializing in studying biologically hazardous materials?: I have made the choice to pursue specializing in the study of biologically hazardous materials for a few reasons. Firstly, biologically hazardous materials are unique in the sense that with some time and effort, the effects and properties can be understood and actually can be physically worked with. Unlike other SCPs which show more anomalous traits such as cognito-hazards or non-Euclidean geometrical environments in some instances, where there is nothing physical to work with, biologically hazardous substances can be worked on. SCP-008 is a virus that can be studied, as well as the strong black acid-like substance that secretes from SCP-035, which can help us to learn more and experiment more with these SCPs when handled properly. Understanding this mindset in an environment where testing on these SCPs is needed, being able to work on such unique and interesting SCPs and their biologically hazardous properties is incredible. I hope to full specialize into biologically hazardous materials as well as biologically hazardous SCPs in hopes that more information can come to light about their properties, with the hope that with enough testing, we might be able to use those properties to our advantage and perhaps even use them for containment purposes. Have you produced any documents pertaining to biologically hazardous SCPs?: As of now, I have only done one formal test involving an SCP with biologically hazardous materials. Other attempts were made, however there were errors and miscalculations during the planning phase of the tests. Attached is the document that I did, involving SCP-008 and SCP-049. https://gaminglight.com/forums/topic/67880-scp-049-and-scp-008-cross-test/
  17. Name: Balancer Rank: Associate Researcher SCPs: SCP-049 and SCP-008. List of Personnel involved in testing: Myself, Two Security Escorts Level D Personnel involved(if any): None Involved. Risks/Safety Precautions: Two security personnel will be brought along to minimize the risk of a containment breach or other possible complications arising. When dealing with SCP-049, caution is insured to make sure they have no chance of escaping containment, such as leaving SCP-049 in cuffs for the duration of the testing procedures. Extra care was made when dealing with SCP-008, as the inner room containing the canister was fully air-tight. Proper decontamination procedures were also on standby for when SCP-049 would finally leave. Background Research: SCP-049 is a more well known SCP at Site 10, having an inner want to cure a nameless pestilence while being able to instantly dispatch victims with a single touch, bringing them back to life as reanimated corpses. SCP-008 is a virus currently contained in a canister within Site 10 that has the properties of reverting someone to a zombie-like state after coming into contact with it. What I’m teaching/testing: I will be conducting a cross-experiment to see what happens when SCP-049 comes into contact with SCP-008 for a length of time. The test will be to see if SCP-049 has any reactions to coming into contact with SCP-008 or if simply nothing happens as a result. Observation: SCP-049 was easily moved to SCP-008’s containment chamber, where they remained in cuffs and put into the airlock. SCP-049 complied in stepping into the chamber, making haste as they moved towards the canister containing SCP-008. SCP-049 opened the canister, as the gas began to escape, causing the alarm to begin sounding. It was labeled as a false alarm and was shut off while the experiment continued. SCP-049 stood directly in the blast when it came to the gas escaping the canister. After a few minutes, questions were asked about how SCP-049 was feeling. They stated something odd at first, that their nostrils seemed to be burning. This little detail helps give a small amount of information on SCP-049’s true face. They also mentioned the feeling of being rotten, though nothing physical seemed to change within SCP-049. SCP-049 also began muttering things such as the gas wanting freedom, which was disregarded. Eventually the test was brought to an end, as SCP-049 was decontaminated and brought back to their containment cell. Conclusion: Following the end of the test, it seemed that SCP-049 did indeed have some reactions when it came to SCP-008. SCP-049 did not seem to react in the usual way of how humans have reacted, as they did not turn into a zombie. However SCP-049 did dread coming into contact with SCP-008, which is notable. Other than the odd feelings they stated, there is nothing else to report.
  18. Name: Balancer Rank: Associate Researcher SCP: SCP-173 List of Personnel involved in testing: Myself, Two Security Escorts Level D Personnel involved(if any): Three Class-D Risks/Safety Precautions: Two security personnel will be brought along to minimize the risk of a containment breach or the Class-D personnel becoming aggressive. When inserting the Class-D personnel into the room, no less than three people will be looking at it as a safety precaution, so even if all of the Class-D look away, myself and the two escorts will be enough. Background Research: SCP-173 is an animate and very hostile concrete statue that doesn’t appear to be able to move when being viewed by others. When not being viewed, it has the ability to move very fast, and attacks by breaking the victim’s neck. Due to SCP-173 being made of concrete, most physical attacks seem to do nothing against it, which leads into my test. What I’m teaching/testing: I will be conducting an experiment to see what happens when physically strong subjects within a group come into contact with SCP-173. Due to SCP-173 being made of concrete, it is quite durable, so I wanted to see what some of our strongest Class-D personnel could do when tasked with directly attacking SCP-173. Observation: Following a short waiting period with Gensec and an apparent lack of available Class-D personnel, three strong Class-Ds were brought to me and were brought along by two security personnel who acted as an escort. Safety precautions were used, as the three Class-D personnel were safely placed into the chamber alone with SCP-173 and were ordered to attack it. The Class-D personnel weren’t very bright, going right to smashing their fists into SCP-173 without much care. After a few minutes of no progress, I had realized that all three of the Class-Ds were on different blinking cycles. One of the three Class-D personnel had given us some trouble, so to speed things along, they were shot down. SCP-173 started to get active, but overall mostly seemed fine. Following a painfully long six minutes, one of the two Class-D personnel had their neck snapped. Following shortly after, the final Class-D died before security personnel could be in position to get them out. Upon closer examination to SCP-173, two new cracks were visible within the concrete. Conclusion: Following the end of the test, it seemed that my hunch was originally right. SCP-173 is very resistant to many forms of damage, but my test shows that even very strong individuals can do some damage. It may not be much, but that damage will likely remain far into the future. Nothing else to report aside from that.
