My first ever life as D-class ended when I joined the server during a riot and punched a juggernaut in the face. My second ever life ended when I punched the Head of Security in the face. Is this how you D-class?

The absolute dream is when the smaller end of the rasher is super crispy and the rest is kinda crispy but also kinda chewy though

Rank You are Applying For: Colonel In-Game Name: BruceyBoyo SteamID: STEAM_0:1:6828556 Current Rank: Major How long have you been in your current rank?: 5 weeks (and 1 day) What timezone are you in?: GMT How many Warns do you have?: 0 Permission: Commissioner Eternity 1K-1 Why should you be promoted (200 words Minimum): Several months into my time in PD Low Command, I've learned and experienced a lot. Although being in command can occasionally be frustrating, I enjoy helping the department both through teaching and potentially promoting lower ranks to give us a supply of skilled, professional officers and if necessary disciplining misbehaving officers to limit the harm they can do and to make sure they know better in future - although I try to reserve demotions for those who refuse to listen. Out on patrol, assuming we have enough PD on I like to ride with other officers to mentor them, provide them a positive role model and see how they're doing first-hand, and also let people try driving in a car slightly above their rank under my supervision (Taurus for OFCs, 2012 charger for SNRs, etc) so that when they unlock these vehicles for themselves they will be better prepared to drive them. While it's not the only role of command, helping enlisted and supervisors develop their skills is one of the most important things I can do as they make up the bulk of the department and improving their abilities helps everyone in every department. I put strong emphasis on staying calm in all situations including criminal, internal and interdepartmental issues. Although having fun is important, being able to stay professional in the face of all that PD command may face is more important, whether it's minges or miniguns. I'm willing to listen to and help any officer with anything they need if possible, and refer them to someone who can help them if not - whether it's advice, a problem with someone else's behaviour or just a personal issue - after all they are still my fellow officers, and human beings too. While I'm in other departments and I take days off to avoid getting burned out, I'm still active on PD and put in at least an hour or so, often more, on most days. I also keep an eye out when I'm playing on other departments in case something comes up that would require me to switch to PD command, as well as being available if someone needs to talk to me in Teamspeak about a PD command issue. As mentioned in my previous applications, I have also demonstrated my competence and leadership in reaching Superintendent and Master FTO in SCO19, as well as being Head TRO and having co-written the TRO and FTO SOPs. Regardless of my experience, however, I'm never afraid to ask if there's something I don't know, however, and as always I seek to improve myself and my skills at all times. Based on all the reasons stated above, I personally believe that I am ready for the rank of Colonel, and I look forward to hearing your feedback whether or not you agree. You agree that disobeying any rules set by High Command will result in an immediate demotion (Yes/No): Yes

He didn't fire it though. I think that means he likes you.

Honestly, all departments are great but I think PD is underrated. A lot of people see them as unimportant but they're the high-volume extra manpower that's always there to back up other departments. Whether it's PT, traffic stops, perimeters or just providing some extra firepower at mass shootouts, felony stops, PD may not be the specialists but they help every other department do their job easier, either by filling in space with extra guns/tasers or dealing with the easy stuff to keep their hands free.

MISSION PASSED! RESPECT+ -
-Support Manager's perms are Manager's perms but I can understand Raze not hearing the response after asking "who let you use this" (you can hear Soul reply "-atthe-" which I probably wouldn't have registered as "Matthew") especially as it's a serious issue if people actually do misuse the CC dealer. Kinda some not-ideal stuff happening but I don't think it comes anywhere close to the standard of abuse, and this report is essentially "Raze abused his powers by not understanding the middle syllable of the word Matthew from inside a loud car accelerating away". If people are going to get in trouble for not understanding a cut-off chunk of a word over an accelerating car, then I and probably a large chunk of the community are going to get permabanned.

Gonna miss you in FBI, but you've put in a lot of work and earned your reserves. Looking forward to seeing you around on State and SPRT as always, doing whatever that thing you do that's kind of similar to driving is

+Support Active, one of the most professional and mature supervisors we have and already makes good use of his rank as SM. Would 100% support Kessel having LT rank so he can handle situations as he does now but without needing to call for command, as I trust his judgement.
-
+Support Highly active, mature, knows what he's doing and overall would be good fit for Captain rank.
-
+Support Clear evidence, 32 warns on PoliceRP, no 20 or 30 warn ban yet. Not much else to be said.

More stun gun charges on spawn - Accepted - In Progress - Completed
BruceyBoyo replied to ICR's topic in Completed
+Support It's not really "necessary" as such, but having only 1 charge on spawn is also not necessary. Also even though the money is trivial we're basically charging gov cash to go on the job, as well as the fact there seems to be a cooldown on buying taser ammo (and it'll fall through the map half the time anyway) which means it can take a bit to actually get ready. I can't really see a downside to having a lot of taser charges on spawn besides "you can taser rush more" which you can do anyway if you just buy a bunch of taser ammo. Would be very helpful and convenient for all gov players, assuming it's something SMT can easily change. -
False Warn Appeal (CommanderSky1|Jack Ruby)- Denied
BruceyBoyo replied to Tactical Ten Year Old's topic in Denied
-Support Entered an area you're not allowed to enter in order to do something you're not allowed to do in order to help an SNR handle a command member's "negligence" of getting brought to a sit by staff at a bad time. Sorry, nothing personal but you really shouldn't be going into gov bases besides DOC as crim unless for some reason you're either told to enter by staff or brought there by government, which would both generally be rare. -
All I can think of, then, is that my dynamic IP landed on a banned user's previous IP, which seems somewhat unlikely but is my only real theory. I have looked up and found that, apparently, there are known issues where people are mysteriously banned from Discord servers without any interaction from moderators, and apparently those can sometimes be fixed with some bots by banning and unbanning a user (possibly removes the banned IP?). Other than that, I'm not really sure how to proceed, or how I'd be banned in the first place. (I'm not, for what it's worth, banned from any other GL discord - I'm still in the SCPRP one, the PoliceRP department/tac department ones and the Gaminglight Official Discord)

The main one, named "Gaminglight PoliceRP" I believe.

PoliceRP Discord What was the reason for your ban (if you know it)? Unknown, was asleep Why do you deserve to be unbanned? I can't really dispute the reason for the ban since I wasn't there for it and Discord doesn't inform people of the reason, other than by saying I'm known for being paranoid enough about avoiding minor and trivial rulebreaks to make it unlikely I would break a rule and that I've not been saying anything offensive nor been requested to stop (I don't speak much in the PoliceRP discord anyway). I apologize for whatever I did as I assume that there was some kind of reason, and I won't do anything staff object to me doing either way, but I can't address the ban itself since the reason is unknown.

+Support -Active, mature, knows what he's doing and does it correctly -Trains cadets a lot (like, a lot) -Has a positive attitude towards others of all ranks -Always willing to seek advice and accept feedback -Overall the type of person we want in LC
-
+Support 10 warnings is a 1 day ban per staff handbook, presumably weekbanned by a typo when going through several warning threshold ban requests at once (as another 10 warn ban and a 30 warn ban were also being given out at the same time). Should be shortened to the length of a 10 warning ban because, well, it's a 10 warning ban.
-
+Support Last time I got reset with it it did 30 damage point-blank. Considering it's a shotgun and most people don't stand still in combat, generally even unarmored criminal jobs take more than a full 7-round mag in practice to kill. It's not only the worst shotgun, but also worse at being a shotgun than every other gun that isn't a shotgun.

Rank You are Applying For: Major In-Game Name: BruceyBoyo SteamID: STEAM_0:1:6828556 Current Rank: Captain How long have you been in your current rank?: 4 weeks (and a day) What timezone are you in?: GMT How many Warns do you have?: 0 Permission: Chief Max 1K11 Why should you be promoted (200 words Minimum): Throughout my time as Lieutenant and Captain I have consistently tried my best to make a positive impact on the department and server whenever I'm on. While I don't need to actively take control of every single situation, I keep an eye on everything related to PD and make sure everything that is primarily within our jurisdiction is handled - prisoners transported, cadets trained, tactical perimeters built and secured - by myself if necessary, as well as that the rules are being followed by our officers. While command's job sometimes requires stepping in, drawing a hard line and giving out stern warnings and even punishments, we should also be trying hard to avoid things escalating to that point. Our job is not just about punishing and restricting PD, but about supporting the department and its officers. I try to patrol with and offer useful advice to fellow officers on duty, gently correct them if they make a mistake and also take a mental note of who's driving properly, doing PT, active on radio and other signs of possible promotion candidates. This is especially becoming more important now that meetings late at night, when I tend to play, have become rarer, as many officers playing then aren't able to attend meetings nor see many command and thus have relatively few opportunities to be promoted. I also look for supervisors who train frequently as candidates for promotion, which I would be able to do myself for sergeants were I to be promoted to Major. I also am always willing to listen to other officers' concerns or issues, as while I may not be able to help them with every problem, everyone deserves a chance to be heard, even OFCs. When it comes to dealing with situations I apply both any relevant rules or SOPs and my own logic and reasoning to come to the best possible solution. My experience and leadership skills are further shown by my accomplishments in SCO19, where I am currently also a member of low command as well as FTO command and the head of the TRO (Marksman) specialty. In this capacity I have written the bulk of the TRO handbook, as well as being credited as a co-writer of the current SCO19 FTO handbook. My achievements in SCO19 and its FTO department show my leadership, my ability to teach and mentor people and my maturity and trustworthiness. Even though I'm in some other departments such as SCO19, I still make sure to put in plenty of time on PD and I'm always ready and willing to swap to PD if something needs taken care of in PD (and I'm not already doing something important like training). I welcome all feedback on my performance in all departments, both positive and negative, as I seek to be the best I can be. For all the reasons stated above I believe that I have shown the maturity, understanding and experience required for the position of Major. Whether you agree or not, I thank you for taking the time to read my application and for your feedback. You agree that disobeying any rules set by High Command will result in an immediate demotion (Yes/No): Yes

Rank You are Applying For: Captain In-Game Name: BruceyBoyo SteamID: STEAM_0:1:6828556 Current Rank: Lieutenant How long have you been in your current rank?: 3 weeks 5 days What timezone are you in?: GMT How many Warns do you have?: 0 Why should you be promoted (150 words Minimum): Throughout my time as a Lieutenant I have learned and developed leadership skills, both through observing higher command and through actively overseeing and handling situations. I make an effort to be out and patrolling as much as possible, ideally with others, so that I can be available to help other officers, keep an eye out for issues and provide a positive role model. It also allows me to see how other officers are performing on duty and whether they deserve a promotion. I make an effort to come across as friendly and approachable enough that any lower-ranking officer can feel comfortable approaching me with a question or a problem. Although I'm willing to take action if necessary, when I see an issue with the behaviour of an officer I remain calm and respectful as I explain to them what the problem is and how to solve it, reserving punishments for only those who are unwilling to listen or serious misconduct. While I train cadets less often as LT due to being more valuable when I'm out and available to take reports, recommendations etc., I still do it when no supervisors are available and help supervisors train cadets if needed, and I still have my own set of training notes to make sure everything important is covered during training and new OFCs are as prepared as possible. I've made an attempt to resolve the issue of people who never got promoted because of being in the wrong timezone for command or meetings, although the recent shift towards more meetings in those timezones has reduced the number of field promotions overall compared to meeting promotions. Although I've been less active over the holiday season, I've still managed a fair amount of activity on PD during this time, which will only increase now that the holidays are ending. Despite being in several other departments I enjoy PD and, regardless of rank, will continue to do whatever I can to improve both the PD as a whole and my personal abilities. You agree that disobeying any rules set by High Command will result in an immediate demotion (Yes/No): Yes
