Daily Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? I have been a part of this community for almost 3yrs now and in that time I have been constantly active on the forums and abided by the Forums rules, it has become a daily routine of mine to check the forums and then check it again multiple times throughout the day. I am always one that has wanted to help out this community and I feel joining the forum diplomats would give me another way at being able to help this community that has helped me out so much. Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision? I feel as i have good judgement, In my time as Commander of HRT, Deputy Director of FBI and also in my real life line of work as a bouncer good judgement is a requirement to ensure that myself and other command members treat others fairly, A difficult decision for me is when i worked at a venue on a island off the coast of the town I'm from and from what started off as a dispute between 2 patrons and a bouncer ended up in a 6 man brawl, as the Supervisor i had to get down to the bottom of it and gathering information from both parties, after gathering information it turned out that the bouncer while not at fault should of and could of handled the situation a lot more calmer and not turned to a more violent solution, this also left me with the sticky situation that while the bouncer wasn't in the wrong neither were the 2 patrons or their friends and still very early in the night of partying, I was left with a hard decision with 2 outcomes either kick them out and that would've sent them back to the mainland on the ferry or put this behind them and let them back in to enjoy the party, Ultimately after discussing it with the bar manager we decided to err on the side of caution and proceeded to continue on with kicking them and sending them back to the mainland to ensure that down the line there wasn't a further issue with them and later that night we had a talking to with the bouncer about his actions and how he could better improve himself to ensure something like that doesn't happen again. How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers? I would hide their posts that they are spamming on and try to find out which server they played on/they got banned from, I would then message them stating That spamming is against the forums rules and that if they feel that their ban was false that instead of spamming they should just post a ban appeal and await the judgement from SMT from their server they were banned from and link the ban appeal if however they persist with the spamming follow Chain of command and get them to warn the Player accordingly How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal? I would try to defuse the situation by putting a polite message that they shouldn't be arguing with each other on the post but if they persist I would then put this message: Forums Diplomat Message Please keep this thread to + or - Support Only. Failure to do so and continued arguing in the comments will result in this post being locked and/or forums warnings being handed out.
