  1. I Don't see a need for a community meeting. The MOTD is being worked on by SMT.
  2. - Support - Little effort on application - Could be more active Best of luck!
  3. + Support. Maybe the money silo time could alter itself based on the amount of people/PD on. For example: 10-20 People: 25 Minutes 20-40 People: 20 Minutes 40-60 People: 15 Minutes 60+ People: 10 Minutes
  4. I am pretty sure he took certain letters out of the word "minge" to manipulate it and make it look like he was saying the N word.
  5. The problem with photon is that we were sacrificing server population and players. The lag was unbearable and less people were on the server, it was becoming a problem. - Support.
  6. - Support Voxis showed evidence that it is likely photo shopped. Looking at it from a morale point of view, the chance of Chief saying this is next to none.
  7. As an admin, our job isn't to force people on staff who don't want to do their job. Its like me waking a fellow worker up, serving them breakfast and forcefully driving them to work. It causes problems and isn't how things should go. If they dont want to get on duty and are relying on higher ups to remind and force job them, then we have a problem. + Support
  8. + Support In the past I have had to dealt with defendants/prosecutors running and minging in PD, without officers actually being able to taze or arrest them (because they are considered a government job).
  9. In my opinion, this ban was justified. Me and Nimo responded to a support notification with Vlad (or Mike) with the exact same TS name as Mr. Valkyrie (dont know how to spell his name). Upon arriving, he told us in TS chat to get Zeeptin because he had a "money issue" and owed 500 dollars. Obviously this seemed kind of strange, so we asked him to confirm he was actually Mr Valkyrie. He then changed his name to "Mike" and told us it was a joke and that he didn't mean it. - Support. You shouldn't be joking about stuff like this.
  10. I would advice adding your own "touch" to the application. Maybe format the text differently or color it to add differentiation.
  11. - Support - Application could use slightly more effort - Activity needs to improve - Forums activity needs to improve Best of Luck!
  12. Honestly, just respond to some forums posts and make some of your own and your content count will increase without you even noticing. Try playing a wide variety of jobs, both criminal and PD and make some new friends.
  13. Hello! Before applying, I would recommend you get a little more active on forums and maybe in game. Another couple days should be good. Best of luck!
  14. Maybe it could be added to the job bundle to increase its value. Tow truck drivers could maybe create shops and sell towed vehicles. + Support
  15. Massive + Support - Very active - Probably the most detailed application I have seen - Mature, knows the rules Best of luck Munchies!
  16. It is no secret that Gaminglight is one of the largest PoliceRP communities, and furthermore one of the best (In my opinion). Because of this, many new members find it difficult on how to get recognized and fully immersed in the community. That is the question I hope to answer in this small guide. I have compiled useful tips, as well as what to do and what not to do! Basic Tips - Obviously, try not to be mingy or disrespectful to anyone. This will show your mature - Try joining some divisions/regiments, such as SS or BSI. Anything that tickles your fancy, whether it be elite investigations like BSI or tactics and combat such as SWAT - Try to be active in the teamspeak and in game. This allows you to socialize with other members and meet new people The Forums - Try to be as active as possible. This can be as simple as sharing your opinion on a staff application or writing a SOP for the regiment your commanding! - Try to stay open minded and respectful on the forums. Don't be hostile or randomly down vote posts - Being active on the forums also allows you to stay updated on whats happening within the community, so stay updated - Don't post anything inappropriate, this falls under common sense. We are all here to have a good time - Don't spam the chatbox or be obnoxious within it. Once again, common sense The Staff Team If you feel as though you want to take everything a step further, you may choose to apply for a staff position. Remember though, it isn't just a small little decision you make off the top of your head. Staffing can sometimes be stressful, but it still an enjoyable and important role. There is nothing like working hard, and then getting promoted after so much hard work and dedication. I hope this guide helped you get an idea on how to get involved. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to PM me!
  17. So your Canadian, eh? Welcome to the community!
