As the title states, this will be an AMA(Ask Me Anything.)
I work as a Corrections Specialist, going on for approximately 3 years now and have encountered a lot of different people of all different backgrounds and issues. I work alongside the Department of Corrections for my state and local law enforcement. Our facility also doubles as a rehabilitation center for clients/inmates that face addiction issues.
Due to what my job is, i cannot give the name of the job or the location, or the names of our clients/inmates.
with that being said, all other questions are open to be asked

How often do you encounter annoying visitors at DOC, and is DOC the department that deals with the most minges

I could name a couple lol

The wackiest person i probably had was a guy in his mid 40's to 50's and was in on a drug trafficking and escape, he was placed on in-house(restricted to the building and has to complete certain programs) about a week prior to this incident. I'll call him wolf for the story.

I was working 2nd shift which lasts from 2pm-12am at the time, and i was giving another client their medication for the day, which was around 9pm. After i gave the client his medication, Mr. Wolf came up to the control room and said he needed to go outside. I asked him why and he said that he had a bus waiting outside. I peek my head around the corner and see its pitch black out so i tell him "hey bud... the bus dont run this late, just go back to your bed and lay down." He just nods his head and goes back into his dorm.

I start to file a bit of paperwork and look at the dorm area and see him standing on the wall of the dorm area trying to look outside, so i yell for mr. Wolf to come to me and ask him "what the hell do you think your doing?!"

His response: "a little girl wrote a message for me on the window, can i go up there and read it?" "No, theres no message on the window, just go lay down" he just nods his head and goes to the vending machine and buys a bunch of snacks. Like 30 dollars worth and goes back to his dorm, i think nothing of it and dont hear from him.

Then i came in the next day and another client comes up to talk to me.

"Dude, you gotta hear this."

"What happened."

"Well, when lights came on, i saw a soda on my foot locker and when to drink it, fkn wolf was under his bed and screamed at me saying not to touch it, those snacks are for his friends, he's having a party"

"I think your fuckin with me."

"Nah man, look"

Man pulls out his phone and all i see is wolf hiding under this dudes bed, snacks galore, with his shoe propped up next to the snacks.

I go talk to wolf, and walk up on him talking to his shower shoes.

"Dude, what are you doing?.."

"Talking to my shoes, coz they take me everywhere i go"

He didnt stay much longer after that

Then theres the situation that happened last year that caused a new hire to quit, i thought it was funny, i'll make a TLDR for that one.

Her first day she got chased around by a dude who was wearing nothing and was crapping on the floor while chasing her.

I was made the weekend supervisor, so i dont really have any annoying visitors on my shift since they know if they make me do my job, i do it and i do it well. i do get ones that like to cuss when you deny their visitation though and we cant tell them why. And if by minges you mean people doing stupid crap and getting in trouble, yes, on the daily. Most violations ive wrote in a 12 hour period is 14.

I cant say the craziest one because there are children here  so i'll say the 2nd craziest one would have been the pellet/bb gun, have no clue why she thought that would have been a good idea. then theres the dude who brought womens clothing and said it was his girlfriends and wanted to keep it(spoiler: it wasnt his girlfriends, it was his)
