SCPs involved: SCP-012 Class Ds Involved: Quinn Researchers involved: (RAM) Johny Boi D-class was given a pair of ear plugs and asked to approach SCP-012. The purpose of the test was to ascertain the effectiveness of ear plugs in negating or mildening SCP-012's effects. The test was unsuccessful and the ear plugs had no effect, D class died of blood loss shortly after. Conclusion: It is likely that SCP-012 uses some other (likely anomalous) means of manipulating its victim besides sound. By Possum Jenkins, Junior Researcher Test was held on 7/7/2023

Lore Name: Dizzle Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: SCP-012 Question / Idea: Can someone physically stop the subject from trying to complete the symphony and surviving? Background Research: The object is a piece of handwritten musical score entitled "On Mount Golgotha", part of a larger set of sheet music, appears to be incomplete. The red/black ink, first thought to be some form of berry or natural dye ink, was later found to be human blood from multiple subjects. Hypothesis: A person could survive the test when being restrained by someone else, pulling them away and resisting the urge to complete it, and surviving to explain what they felt, seen or heard. Observations (What Happened During Test): Subject 1 entered the room and died instantly. Although when subject 2 went into the room, he wasn't affected as much by it at first, when pulled out him out, he said he heard whispers that said "Finish it." repeatedly. We put him into the padded room and we monitored him, asking him various questions. After 4 minutes and 24 seconds he bled out. We found damage on the door and scribbles on the walls with the subjects blood. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: All the photos taken by me are gone from my camera, I'm not sure what caused this but it's worth writing down. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): SCP-012 Has anomalous effects that cause manic episodes which cause the subject to try to finish it without it being near. example: On the walls, on the floor, on any surface that can be written on. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No, I thought the subject would survive longer and tell us what they're hearing during the test, I was wrong though. They kept screaming on how it couldn't be finished. There was no way of communication.

Lore Name: Cloaker Rank: Associate Researcher SCP: 012 Question / Idea: Can a drug be used to stop the SCP-012? Background Research: People have tried to stop SCP-012 from killing D-Class before, but it was shut down by the ethics comity. Hypothesis: The brain makes every human do what they do, so what if I try to make a drug to not do what SCP-012 wants? Observations (What Happened During Test): I sent one D-Class to SCP-012 then pulled him out before death then I took him to medical to do a head scan finding that it gave huge levels of dopamine, So I decided to order some anti-dopamine drug which was very hard to find then used a pills under a lab to make sure it was the real thing, it was. So I get another D-Class then a give him 6 anti-dopamine pills, the recommend amount is 2 but I felt that extreme levels were needed in this case. after that I sent him into SCP-012's cells and it killed him instantly? how? it killed him faster then if I didn't give the drug? Evidence/Visual Stimuli: N/A | If proof is needed the test can be recreated by following what a did above. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): SCP-012 will always find a way to kill the subject, only wait to stop it is to kill them first. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: Nope

Lore Names: Mirlurk and F Lizard Ranks: Associate Researcher SCP: SCP-012 and SCP-500 Question / Idea: Can SCP-500 cure the effects that SCP-012 has on a D-Class? Background Research: SCP-012 is a musical score. It is incomplete. The red/black ink on it is actually human blood from many subjects. Upon being near SCP-012, you will feel the need to mutilate yourself in order to finish a section of the musical score. This can cause massive trauma and psychosis. SCP-500 is a red plastic pill. Once taken the subject will be cured of any illness in about 2 hours. Hypothesis: I do believe the effects of SCP-012 can be cured by SCP-500. Observations (What Happened During Test): The Class-D subject was exposed to SCP-012 and started to mutilate himself to try and finish a section. We then took the D-Class and gave him a pill from SCP-500. The Class-D seemed to be fine and did not have the tendency to want to try and finish a piece of SCP-012 Evidence/Visual Stimuli: AR F Lizard was present during this test Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): The effect of SCP-500 ended up curing the trauma that SCP-012 gives to subjects trying to finish a piece. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: Yes my hypothesis is correct.

Form Title: [SCP-012] ~ Research (11/2/2019) Rank: Associate Researcher Clearance Level: 3 List of Personnel involved in testing: Associate Researcher Leaf (myself), Associate Researcher Lombardi, Security JFTO SGT Dread, Security JFTO MSGT Lee Level D personnel involved: 4 D-class SCP: 012 Errors and/or safety hazards: D-class may attempt to escape or act unpredictably under the influence of drugs. Question: Will SCP-012 affect a subject under the effects of stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, and opiates? Background Research: SCP-012 is a cognitohazard that causes anyone that steps within its sphere of influence to attempt to finish it with their blood. Hypothesis: SCP-012 will not affect someone under the influence of any drugs. //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------// Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): D-001 after ingesting hallucinogens: D-001 moments after entering SCP-012's cc, having promptly killed himself in a state of severe distress: D-002 after being injected with morphine, moments before entering SCP-012's CC: D-002 after entering SCP-012's CC. D-002 seemed to fall under the influence of SCP-012 but did not succumb to blood loss as quickly as expected: D-002 after succumbing to blood loss after approximately four minutes and forty-four seconds (4:44): D-003 after being injected with amphetamines and having reached a state of high: D-003 having entered SCP-012's CC: D-003 acting erratically when exposed to SCP-012's cognitohazardous effects: D-003 succumbing to SCP-012 and appearing to die instantly after tearing his wrists open and experiencing cardiac arrest: D-004 after being administered two (2) 1 mg tablets of Xanax: D-004 after being exposed to SCP-012: D-004 succumbing to D-012 and dying of respiratory arrest: //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------// Test Log: D-001: - D-001 was brought to HCZ and fed a psilocybin infused blend. After approximately five (5) minutes the subject began to experience vivid visual hallucinations and was directed into SCP-012's CC. Upon entering, D-001 began to exhibit severe distress and promptly died by indeterminate causes. D-002: - D-002 was brought to SCP-012's containment and injected with 30cc of morphine. After approximately two (2) minutes D-002 began to exhibit common side-effects such as drowsiness and warmth. D-002 was then directed into SCP-012's CC and observed: D-002 fell under SCP-012's cognitohazardous effects and tore his wrists open attempting to finish SCP-012 and surviving for four minutes and forty-four seconds before succumbing to blood loss. D-003: - D-003 was brought to SCP-012's CC and injected with the appropriate amount of amphetamines for an average adult male. After approximately one minute, D-003 began to exhibit the expected behavior of being high on stimulants and was moved into SCP-012's cc. Running around the CC, D-003 appeared unaffected by SCP-012 until he moved within two (2) feet of it. This caused D-003 to emit a scream and claw at his wrists, tearing them open and dying instantly from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) D-004: - D-004 was brought to SCP-012's cc and administered two (2) 1 mg tablets of Xanax. After approximately 27-30 minutes had passed, D-004 indicated that he was feeling "relaxed and calm" and was directed into SCP-012's CC. D-004 was ordered to approach the SCP and read it aloud. Attempting to do so, D-004 was only able to look at SCP-012 for one (1) second before falling over and expiring due to respiratory arrest. //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------// Analysis and Conclusion: It appears that SCP-012 will still cause subjects to enter into a suicidal trance if they enter its cognitohazardous sphere of influence despite the ingestion of various forms of drugs. The only forms of drugs that offered a minimal level of resistance to SCP-012 are stimulants and depressants. Even then, D-003 and D-004 both died almost instantly when pressed to read or approach SCP-012 closely. Oddly enough, all of the D-class but D-002 seemed to die from organ failure or unclear causes. This leads me to believe that SCP-012 can exacerbate the deadly effects of drugs to the point of overdose. It also appears that subjects who are administered any analgesic (or at the very least morphine) seem to be able to survive longer while under the influence of SCP-012, as D-002 spent nearly five minutes trying to complete On Mount Golgotha. This may be useful for other researchers who are attempting to complete or glean further information from the SCP. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: No. None of the D-class administered drugs survived their encounter with SCP-012. //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------// Approved by the Director of Research and Security and the Head of Research. For use in Site-05. Secure, Contain, And Protect.
