  1. +/- Support I do not support the idea of enlisted speed going down anymore then it already is. The main thing I see is high command speed where none of them use cars anymore cause they can run across the map faster. I stopped playing crim a lot because of the MP5SD rush where you could not see the man before you all were dead from 4 shots.
  2. + Support When does anyone ever rob solo. In order for gen stores to be worth it it should be upped to 200-300k. Right now to sit there and fight of 8-10 cops for 100k is not worth it at all. Risk should = reward when it comes to money in the server.
  3. -1 Don't get me wrong I have had some good experiences with Jack, but all of those were on criminal together. In all actuality I don't really see you playing on PD. Anytime I see you on PD is at the meetings. After those meetings you switch from the PD job. Before the meetings you are not on the job but about 5 minutes before. My biggest problem as well as other enlisted problems is the inactivity of PD command other then meetings. If activity of PD command is going to change, it is by only promoting officers that play on the whitelist on a regular basis rather then just at meetings. Mark and Solomon are fantastic examples. They are always on the PD whitelist. It is their main job they play on. That is how it should be if you plan on being high up in command. It is hard for people to follow someone they only see at meetings, and for that reason I am saying you should have a few weeks to show that commitment before being moved to major. No hard feelings, and the best of luck to you!
  4. Simply, comment below. I don't care what, just anything, and you'll be fine. Please only do it if you are an active SRT member, just makes it easier to track. Thanks
  5. -1 I personally have never had any poor experiences with you, but that is not saying much due to the time you have been back. You have not been back for even a full week yet from what I have seen. While yes you are previous staff, that was some time ago. It is hard for players to listen and respect a player that only vets of the community even know. In my opinion you should show that you plan on staying with the community for a week or two rather then just applying for staff like you never left. I have played gmod for years and sometimes we want to come back then two weeks later we regret it and want to leave all over again. I think you need some time to sit and think is this really what you want to get back into. Staff is a time commitment and in order to dedicate time you have to play that time. No hard feelings, because like I said from my talks with you, you are a nice guy. I just do not think it is wise to give someone staff that just came back only days ago to the community as if he never left. Good luck though man!
  6. -1 I am going to try and keep this brief, because I do not want to be disrespectful and hurt any feelings at this time. My main issue with you is activity. One of the biggest reasons why enlisted refuse to play on PD whitelist is due to commands activity. I see you on on a very rare occasion. I understand that I also am not always online so you may play when I am offline, but I am online during peak hours everyday. If you want a position of command you need to show that in my opinion. No one is going to want to follow a leader who they have no idea who they are. The only time I see you on a PD whitelist is during meetings on occasion, never really playing. It sometimes seems like you are fishing for a promotion rather then showing your worth. If you really want your show at command you need to prove that in my opinion. You need to be active on the whitelist, but also present yourself in a professional manor. Any experience I have had with you was never very professional. Yes, it is a game and everyone likes to minge here and there, but a leader knows when to have fun and when to represent his department. I think making that distinction will help you in your journey to get low command. Again, no hard feelings, but I had to voice my opinions on this application. Good luck though!
  7. +1, With the tablet and tracking system it is a possible idea. I think the best thing to do is make it a sub department of either PD or State. It being on its own I do not think would play out very well. There needs to be some factor that draws the player in. Not sure what that would be but it would be needed. Some sort of cash incentive for completing something, as in the medics getting 10k per revive. Possibly even an exclusive mobile command truck that they can drive at a supervisor rank. Something that can really spice up the gameplay for dispatch. The radio situation is quite bad right now and I think if it is done properly dispatch could help.
  8. What is your in-game name?: Hunt or HuntR What is your steam name?: Hunt What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:103322714 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) My staffing experience is quite extensive. so much so that it would take a very long time to list all of it out, so I will summarize. Icefuse Networks Icefuse was my most recent project. I worked quite hard for them for some time before resigning from the community early 2022, due to several factors. I held many different positions as well as had many jobs during my time. Tmod-SNRmod Due to it being my first time staffing in quite some time I started at the rank of tmod. After a week I was a mod and it did not take me long at all to reach senior mod. Due to my quick work and dedication to their community I reached SNRmod after about 2-3 weeks of mod. Icefuse requires all staff to be in a subdivision of staff called trainer. Trainer had a rank structure. Trainer member, officer (5-8 people out of 50-80), lead (1-2 people) and then Manager (1 person for the entire server). At the rank of mod I was promoted to officer and at SNRmod I was promoted to lead. I ranked up the fasted anyone had in trainer to date. Admin-EA I spent the most of my time as Admin of Imperial. Admin was a hard rank to get past considering we had no active DVL on the server so there was a clog in the system. I reached admin after about 3 weeks of senior mod. I was promoted to trainer manager the same week. I worked very hard as an admin and achieved EA after about a month and a half. Trainer Manager I was promoted to trainer manager as an admin. All trainer managers besides me were Head Admins, but I was just a base admin already getting the rank. I ended up severing the longest term out of any manager for trainer until my resignation in 2022. I was one promotion away from being pulled off of Imperial and becoming an Affairs Executive of Ice fuse Networks (Higher then manager of gaming light) During my time as TM I created the largest and most efficient trainer team in the entire community of servers. My team was recommended by the executives weekly. I hosted 3 large meetings a week as TM for my department. Head Administrator All of my hard work finally paid off when I was selected to become a head admin of icefuse. I was assigned different jobs during my staff in this position, but I will summarize the main responsibilities. I was assigned two departments (Consisting of 2-4 regiments) to manage for the server. I conducted staff interviews and read and approved all the staff applications. I was the Head lead for ban appeals and player reports. All ban appeals for the server went through me and I either reduced, denied or accepted all appeals. I also conducted small roleplay interviews for the community as well as hosted the weekly staff meeting if the sector lead and DVL were not able to make it. Sector Lead (Gaminglight Head of staff equivalent) After a few months as a HA, I was given a chance to become a sector lead. This rank was very hard to get due to the community only allowing 1-2 maximum at a time. During my time a sector lead I basically worked a job. I had thousands of docs to approve. I had 4 offices that I hosted meetings with daily. I rank 50% of the server and the other sector lead ran the other 50%. It was a very long and hard time, but I loved every second of it. Division Leader (Gaminglight Manager equivalent) Due to personal events and some actions that happened internally in icefuse networks I resigned from the community after serving a few months as sector lead. I was second in line for the position of Division leader when I left. SMT was my home, I loved running the community more than anything in the world to be honest. I miss it a lot, that is why I am attempted to climb the ranks to SMT here for gaming light. Imperial Roleplay On this server I started from a ST went to Scout commander, then to Gamemaster. I worked from being the smallest Gamemaster on the server to their most well known, then becoming the Server Manager for the Imperial RP division. I ran the server for a while recruiting new admins and GMs, until finally leaving about a year and a half later due to issues with the owner. First Community The first community I worked for on gmod was years ago. It was a VERY popular server and we had 70-100 people on daily. I started off as a tmod and ranked up to community advisor (gaminglight head of staff equivalnt) and server about a year in that postion. I will not go super into detail about this community due to it no longer existing for the past few years. I resigned before its downfall, but 2-3 years after I left they did shut it down. Other ventures I've been moderator/admin for several communities over the years from Dark RP to Clone Wars to Harry Potter, I've done it all. Worked for companies such as NewAgeGaming, StarByStar, as well as others. I have also Co owner and managed a network of star wars RP servers years ago. What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) Almost a month ago for police RP, but several years ago on both Imperial and SCP. What date did you make your forums account? January 17th, 2023 Current rank on server (This is a ULX rank ONLY! Not a RP Rank)? Platinum user on Police RP, and Silver user on SCP. How many warns do you have on the server (Show proof with a screenshot) 0 https://gyazo.com/1666f99b5dfef9649d2fe621e5d0e039 What rank are you applying for? Trial Moderator Are you staff on another community (BE HONEST)? I resigned from my position about a year ago. Have you read the staff guidelines at? You will be tested on it: Yes Timezone: EST Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) I believe I deserve Tmod because everyone deserves a chance. Even a player that does not have the extensive experience that I do I think should have a shot at tmod. It is hard for someone to ever show their wroth without being given that opportunity. Rather thank just my experience I think my motivation and reason for desire is a great reason for me to join the team. One of those reasons being the community. Icefuse is very lucky with the amazing community you guys have . It is rare to find anything like it, even when talking of things other then Gmod. I want to play a larger role in this community. I want to stop the people who ruin other peoples experience and support players in their roleplay experience. Sometimes I see that the staff team is overworked with the constant wave of whitelist and minges, and I would love to help with that. I want to be someone that players look up to and ask for help, I want to make a difference. My goal is clear to all of you. My experience is in SMT and my goal is in the next year to hit Head Admin and maybe even higher then that after some time. I have no intentions on leaving this server, and I do think my experience in the past can really help being a new light to this management team. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? First I would teleport the user to the top of spawn to get him/or her away from the masses. I would then freeze him so I could speak with him without having him shoot and run around. When the cursing begins I would attempt to speak with him about the subject and ask him to calm down so we can discuss. If he continues yelling over me to where we can not address the staff issue, then I will need to gag him for the duration of the staff sit in order for us to proceed. He would then be able to still actively participate using the ingame chat box rather then speech. When it came down to punishment of course I would need to check his prior offenses and warnings. Based on his proper offenses, kills achieved during the spree, as well as cooperation and complexion in the sit a punishment would be addressed. Due to it being mass RDM I would give him a formal warning then a 5 day ban. If I was too low of a rank to ban I would give out the warning, then CoC the ban up to staff member that can administer it.
  9. +1, Clear evidence of him saying the word. Full intention of using it in the context at which he did. No reason he should not be banned for racism due to the circumstances.
  10. +1 Clear evidence as well as my personal interactions with this man on the server. He is breaking the rules countless times and has no intention of actually playing.
  11. +1 Support, Yes, he did break the rules. He is not arguing that he did not break the rules. I have played the server with this man countless times. He is a fun criminal to play against and while trolling he does try and avoid massive rule breaks. Gov has had some fun with him in the past weeks. I do think he should be banned yes, but a perma is excessive. He is not arguing the fact he is banned he is pushing for a reduced from a perma. My suggestion would to be to look up his main account and give it a 1-2 week ban extension. Perma I think is excessive for someone who actually plays the server regularly.
  12. What you want to see? - Car dealer payment UI fixed. When returning your car a message will say "$124" for example but in all actuality it is $15,000 I think it should be less than 15,000, but if you are going to keep it at least fix the UI Why should we add it? - It confuses all of your new players. I have to example to 2-5 players per day of that issue and have to help them pay to pull out their car. What are the advantages of having this? - Quality of life change for everyone, but mainly new players Who is it mainly for? - Serverwide Links to any content - N/A
  13. What you want to see? - Reworking the ticket system Paid tickets are either: One Dispersed to the entire department as a full amount EX. 5,000 ticket after being paid would be dispersed to all gov online as the amount of 5,000. Dispersed to the entire department as a Percentage amount EX. 5,000 ticket after being paid would be dispersed as 1,250 (25% of the total amount) to all gov online Two Dispersed to the arresting officer as a full amount Dispersed to the arresting officer as a percentage amount Why should we add it? - Government is a very low paying roleplay position. This causes many to not play on the whitelists or if they do to be very poor. With things like Barretts being 15 million money has to be made somewhere and some people are not good at playing criminal lives. In no means am I saying you should be making 5 mil a day on gov, I am suggesting small increase in payment methods that would equal out to a few thousand here and there. What are the advantages of having this? - Quality of life change for government players Who is it mainly for? - Government Links to any content - N/A
  14. What you want to see? - Adjusting the speeds in certain sections of the map The outskirt speedlimit is 65 miles per hour, but you are charged for going above 50. Even in the state trooper handbook the speed limit is above 50. Makes no sense. Why should we add it? - Makes no sense to be charged for not speeding What are the advantages of having this? - More realistic and less money lost for no reason Who is it mainly for? - Criminals Links to any content - N/A
  15. What you want to see? - New additions to the map in the coming months, or a different map completely. Addition of some body of water, whether that be a oceanside or a lake. Addition of small boats for both civs and one department. State would be the best option in my opinion if its a lake. Would add more reason to join state. State is also who handles things like that in small southern states. Could add for some fun RP (Not every department needs a boat, would be excessive and unnecessary.) Possibly adding fishing as a way of making money? Getting out on the boat and the rarer the fish the more money it brings. Black market dealer NPC to sell drugs to in the middle of the lake? Something for crime to do. A larger skybox for helicopters for neutral gov How often do people get mad at EMS for taking a while to travel the entire map in seconds for hours at a time. A medic heli that was regulated on HAD to be neutral not effecting criminal/gov roleplay would be a great aspect. Could make for some good RP too. Why should we add it? - Lets be honest, the content is quite stale at the moment. A lot of subdepartments are basically dead but no one wants to admit it. Need to spice things up soon. What are the advantages of having this? - A lot more content to keep players engaged and playing on the server. For old and new players to come back and say wow this is really cool. Who is it mainly for? - Serverwide Links to any content - N/A - This is a suggestion for the future map, I know that will be some time away, just wanted to put in my opinion on the topic.
  16. -1, I would rather see more ways of making money added, then just another version of what we already have on the server.
  17. Possible new ambulance addition: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2430294812&searchtext=stretcher Video showing off the ambulance:
  18. +1 / -1 +1 - nades can be very overpower with new players. I get 4 nades thrown at me in a place like BP and what are you gonna do really. -1 - While playing on gov, when you are playing against players who all have barretts nades are the only fighting chance. Barrett changes need done if nades are done.
  19. +1 Most gov do not ticket due to the fact of how annoying it is. By the time you open your tablet the criminal has already slammed on the gas. Now you have to close the tablet and then finally chase. All of that could have been prevented with a simple ticket book. Some things just need to be left simple.
  20. -1 How often are the neutral classes even used as is. The idea of having jobs that have to be paid for solo and not apart of the donator ranks is already bad for judge, tow driver, etc. Much less more of them to just sit there.
