  1. In-Game Name: Stolas/John Freeman Steam ID: ULX Rank (Donator Rank/Staff Rank): gold/mod How long have you been playing on the server?: 3.5 months Have you read the SCP-RP Event Team Guidelines yes How many warns do you have? (Screenshot): 0 Why do you want to join event team? There ain't much to do late night, and I want to fix that, I would love making events where people can just vibe. As well as that, I want to be able to hold PTs for utility Why should you be trusted to be part of the Event Team?: As a current member of staff, that must mean I'm doing right by the server, yeah? Plus a spotless record as far as warns go, on top of my near round-the-clock activity. Are you familiar/experiences with ULX?: Just from staffing on the server, but I learn good and quick Describe an event you could create (Be specific): how about 2? Dr. Alto Clef from Site 19 is visiting Site 50, with a hidden agenda to terminate SCP-963, better knows as Dr. Bright. First I'd advert for anyone interested in becoming the legendary doctor to put CLEF in their name, and make it clear I will only accept someone who has a solid knowledge of SCP lore. bring CLEF and then ask a few lore questions to all involved, kick out any who fail and have the remaining group roll off to see who gets the role. Dr. Clef would be stripped and given keys, a level 3 keycard, a Browning Auto 5(for FearRPing bright), a polariod, and anything else he may need at his request(within reason). He would then behave like any other Researcher on the site, with the following changes: He has been budda'd, he cannot enter D-block, he has no testing restrictions, He cannot interfere with CI and the other way around, and SCPs cannot breach while being tested on by him regardless of what he does. I will play the part of his Lead research assistant who is also visiting(Mostly just to stay by his side and ensure he doesn't enter D-block or be too unreasonable with his tests, and to grab D-class for him, as well as to help him fearRP Bright) If Dr. Clef and Dr. Bright meet at any point, Dr. Clef will arrest him and attempt termination using another SCP. After he has done this once, he will then get kicked out of the site, ending the event. The event can also end if the person involved decides they do not want to be Clef anymore. Void people: Very simple event, an MTF member, after escaping the pocket dimension, is rambling on and on about some people he met in the pocket dimension, said they weren't just dragged in, that they actually lived there. Use a dupe in the event room that looks like the pocket dimension, let 2 people be these "void men", using dark materialized sarkic and skeleton models. Say they Don't know how they are alive, but somehow the pocket dimension lets them go on. Get RFA involved if possible
  2. + support Not super active, though I don't think that's a fair comparison when made against myself. Fun guy to be around and good roleplayer

  5. I give up, you're all missing the point.
  6. This sentence makes no sense This is literally what a rule is, it's people deciding collectively what is and is not allowed Also notice how it say rust weapons and pickaxe? The axe is a rust weapon
  7. No. If the general consensus is it's not KOS until used, its not KOS until used. When in Rome, do as the Romans. Still, this entire side of your argument is made false by this
  8. As I stated in the sit, you have several priors including 2 other RDM warns, something that helped shape my decision. Though you reacted very quickly, even with the short time allotted, a pistol would have raised at least half way to follow the proper animation for holding a gun. Additionally, to my knowledge and what I have heard from several security members, as well as situations I have been in with security, the axe is not KOS until used with the long range fence exploit. not if held, not if used on other D-class. only if used to whittle down security armor. It is an unwritten rule, and while it is true its not stated to not be KOS, its also not stated to be KOS either. Most security make the call to ignore it until used, or give warnings to put it away. This in mind, I acknowledge that the rule for what is and isn't KOS are a bit unclear, and I will advocate for the security SOP to be updated in accordance to the new ming SWE In any case, you are using "I thought it was a gun" as an excuse, which is not valid in my opinion, once again a conclusion I draw from your previous warns. "Well, actually, it was a lumber axe, so its OK" is also not a valid excuse, as you did not know that at the time, so you cannot just say the lumber axe makes it all right. It's the same as if he were to pull out the pickaxe, which does no damage, and is not KOS under any circumstance. That would still be RDM. What he actually pulled out doesn't matter, you failed to analyze the situation properly, you failed to have proper trigger discipline(using a sniper no less), and you killed a D-class without reason. You have stated several times you thought it was a gun when you pulled the trigger, a miscalculation on your part. Finally, the victim also did not see your excuses as valid, and did not forgive you. Had he done that, I would have simply given you a verbal, told you to be more careful when taking fire at D-class, and sent you both back. That did not happen however. I know as security you must always be on edge and ready for anything, but taking the proper time to step back and assess the situation is invaluable. A half seconds hesitation can mean the difference between a simple misunderstanding and an RDM sit.
  9. Just don't view this in mobile, mobile really messes up the formating XD https://docs.google.com/document/d/123p3YJnG7-q6KqPrC0BsJSz2B2sw9tiFaH42-WOdxnM/edit?usp=sharing

  12. July 31, 2022 What is your In-Game name? Stolas What is your SteamID (e.g. STEAM_0:1:55975235)? What is your rank? (Medical and/or Maintenance) AMM How many strikes do you currently have? 0 How many warnings do you have on GL? (Post a screenshot of your warnings) 0 Who gave you permission to apply? Me Why are you a good fit for Trauma Engineer (150+ Words)? Though I disagree with Trauma engineers "heal others over stop the self breach" Philosophy, it represents a sense of dedication to a cause, and that I can 100% get behind. As(with no measure of exaggeration) the most active member in maintenance, I know a thing or who about dedication. I've spent time as CCU, MMF and HLPR, and from a combative standpoint, I understand that bringing a medic bag and an armor kit is often far more valuable than bringing another shooter to the fight, especially when that fight is against a biohazard and that shooter is a robot. I am well above rank requirements plus I am far and away the most active member in all of utility(Please someone dispute me on that, I dare you) Though I've held off on submitting an application until now, having another TE will always be an asset and D-block will be thankful to have me Scenario Questions: Q1: An MTF Nu7 Corporal is in dire need of surgical attention (5% health) but an MTF E11 Captain has asked you to come to SCP-966’s containment cell and fix its doors. What should you prioritize? The Nu-7 is in need of heals, while the door is already broken. In any case I would prioritize the Nu-7, Drag them to the nearest vent(assuming I'm already in HCZ here) and do emergency heals Q2: SCP-106 is on its last advert and is about to breach. As you are enroute to 106’s cell, a squad of MTF D5 Gladiators requests that you squad up with them. What should you prioritize? Asking for squads is not asking for heals, if everyone's topped up, I'm gone. Heals>cells>squads
  13. I had no idea anyone outside the maintenance branch thought so highly of me, thanks guys :3

  16. What are you suggesting? - Right now, when you load in for the first time, the HUD is already as big as its going to get, you can only shrink it from there. Add the ability to make it bigger How would this change better the server? - Make the HUD easier to read for certain players Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - No Who would this change mostly benefit? - Everyone Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion -

  20. What is your in-game name?: Stolas/John Freeman What is your steam name?: Lord Stolas What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:634026923 What is your discord username (Ex: Rookieblue#2667): Lord Stolas#8211 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) No What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) 3-4 months ago What date did you make your forums account? June 1 How many warnings do you have on all GL servers? 0 What is your donor rank? (User, Silver, Gold, etc) Gold Are you a staff member in another community? No Have you read the staff handbook? Yes Timezone: CST What rank are you applying for? Trial Moderator Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) Just to get this out of the way: Activity. Anyone who knows me can tell you I am on 8+ hours a day. Besides that, I feel I have built up a great reputation on the server, have demonstrated excellent commitment not only to performing my current duties, but also in trying to help the server grow in a manner that enhances the experience for everyone. Though I've had to put up with some frustrating issues with the server, I've come to love it, and There's almost nothing I'd rather do than join my friends on GL SCPRP. Though I've had my falterings in the past, I've learned from my mistakes, and as My old Drill Instructor from the Academy once said: "He never makes the same mistake twice". I think I make for an excellent candidate for staff team, and as it says, it's a trial period, so whats the harm in letting me try, and its always good to have another helping hand. People have to know their worth, and I know I am worth having on SCPRP staff team. Scenario questions: Q2: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation? Tell everyone to calm down, and tell them if they don't then I will gag everyone and we will have to pass around the talking block(or some other prop) like 12 year olds. I need to be able to understand all sides to be able to administer fair judgement, and if that requires treating everyone in the sit like 12 year olds, then that's just how it has to be. Q3: In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving? Treat it as any other situation, only hand out the appropriate punishment. not caring isn't punishment worthy, unless they staff diss in the process, however, I will be on the lookout for their name to pop up again in the reports menu, and I many even just Spectate them if the server is well staffed, sits are infrequent and I feel the situation calls for additional monitoring
  21. In-game Name: Stolas Rank: Resident Medical Scientist Idea: SCP 999 has shown to have regenerative abilities, lets see how far we can stretch this Basic Description of what you will do: I will cut off various appendages and see if they can be attached using a dab of 999 Hypothesis: I mean, it might work. probably. maybe. Observations (can be a video or audio): *a faint "plop" is heard* RMS Stolas: ooohhh, um... yeah... D-8265: whats that? RMS Stolas: It uh... seems you're not going to have a hand anymore SEC OFC Joesef: *Gags* D-8265:Thats fine, my thumb was starting to ache anyway RMS Stolas: You-... You're fine with this? D-8265: Yeah, i dont need a right hand, always gets in the way when I'm writing Detailed description of what happened during the test: After short observation of 999 and its abilities, I thought I had found the proverbial(If not literal) fountain of youth. After securing Myself a D-class, I headed to 999 CC to collect it, giving it one of my Reese's that has melted in my coat pocket because I had forgotten to take it out a week prior. I brought the D-class to the Surgery room and applied top grade Painkillers to his entire arm, numbing it to the point he said it felt more like a dead snake tied to his shoulder. I then proceeded to slice off his index finger, quickly taking a scoop out of 999 with the gravy ladle I had borrowed from the kitchen and dipping the sliced end of the finger into it like it was fried chicken and 999 was orange chicken sauce, before placing the finger back in its spot. After a moment, I let go, and the finger stayed in place. Overjoyed, I quickly sliced off his entire hand at the wrist, discarding the ladle and simply dumping the entire hand into 999 directly. 999 recoiled away from me and the Security officer who was escorting me displayed incredible unprofessionalism by nearly vomiting on the surgery room floor. I took the hand out and reattached the hand, but this time when I let go, it simply fell to the floor. the class-D was fine with this, I'm assuming because of 999's effects on the moods of sentient beings. i decided to cut the experiment here before any real damage could be done. I managed the severed wrist and administered class A amnestics to the d-class, who afterwards I insisted never really had a right hand. the Security officer also insisted in amnestize him, a request I denied, someone has to be witness to my genius. addendum [a]: We will need maintenance to clean up the vomit on the floors of medbay. Conclusion: Perhaps 999 did not see the injury as great enough to warrant needing healing Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: In a way, yes, but more testing will be required What did you learn?: If 999 doesn't realize the severity of an injury, it will have the consistency and holding power roughly that of Elmers glue. How Can This Benefit Medical?: Pending further testing, only time will tell.
