Multiple suggestions for Stormtrooper Corps listed below. This post is specifically for HP/Armor/Kit changes and has been purposely split from the other posts so SMT can review each post separately. Hopefully this helps when reviewing. Battalion name (F4 job listing): Storm Troopers (As named on server) New Battalion Name (F4 job listing): Stormtrooper Corps Reason for name change: With Shoretrooper Corps name being changed to reflect what it is currently called, its time to fix the Stormtrooper name as well. I believe little changes like this add a little life to the name and make it look more appealing. Job/Class Name: Stormtrooper Heavy Change name to: Stormtrooper Magmatrooper Or remain the same. Depends on which model acceptance (Black pauldron or Magmatrooper). Reason for name change: The Heavy job has been relatively unused for a long time now and what I am suggesting for it is not a subclass but a rebrand and reskin with the suggestion post to follow. With Shoretrooper Heavy and having Heavies in most other battalions now, having a Stormtrooper Heavy seems a little redundant. Magmatroopers are unique to both lore and ST. The Kit, HP, and Armor will all remain the same. This is just a rebrand. Additionally, newer players would be able to get access to a promotional based job that both looks and sounds cool! The model changes I have in Part: 3 suggest an option for the Magmatrooper Model or the Black pauldron model. Black pauldron within lore just simply means specialization which could suffice as well. Job/Class Name: Stormtrooper Sergeant Change name to: Stormtrooper NCO Reason for name change: Reason for change to not be so specific to one rank within NCO and within lore this job is referred to as an NCO. Weapon kit: E-11 & E-11 No Scope Current Loadout: Binoculars (White) Add: cross_arms_swep Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): The singular change above just adds a little bit of RP value to the job and, I believe, should be standard across all NCO jobs. Health: - Current: 300 - New: 300 Armor: - Current: 100 - New: 150 Reason for health/armor changes: Increase of 50 Armor to this job will hopefully add a little bit more survivability for the NCO job. Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: Explanations will be given at the end of the post. Job/Class Name: Stormtrooper Officer Change name to: Stormtrooper Captain ^Above pending acceptance of Part 3 post. Reason for name change: Reason name change being to more accurately reflect lore in Army ranks. Captain is a rank but also a class of leadership within ST. This is reflected within Shoretrooper Corps and Scout Company. What had been proposed to ST leadership is extended NCO job use with deserving troopers moving up to Stormtrooper Captain. Captains also use the Orange Pauldron. Weapon kit: E-11, E-11 No Scope, EC-17, DP-23 Current Loadout: Binoculars (White), Cross Arms, Cross Arms (In Front) Add: E-11T (rw_sw_e11t) Remove: E-11 (rw_sw_e11) Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): The Stormtrooper NCO job was given the E-11T awhile back and I believe the Officer job was overlooked with this update. The E-11T is the stronger variant of the E-11 and shows rank status to the lower ranks. Health: - Current: 350 - New: 350 Armor: - Current: 100 - New: 150 Reason for health/armor changes: Increase of 50 Armor to this job will hopefully add a little bit more survivability for the Officer job. Job/Class Name: Stormtrooper Vice Commander Weapon kit: E-11, E-11 No Scope, EC-17, DP-23, DLT-19, Current Loadout: Binoculars (White), Cross Arms, Cross Arms (In Front) Add: E-22 (rw_sw_e22) Remove: E-11 No Scope (rw_sw_e11_noscope) Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): The E-22 is a more capable primary weapon for any trooper, especially for one in a Command position. The VCMDR and CMDR kits are okay and really lack a strong primary besides the DLT-19 or DP-23. The E-22 fills that void. Health: - Current: 450 - New: 450 or 500 Armor: - Current: 100 - New: 150 or 200 Reason for health/armor changes: Increases of HP and Armor to this job will hopefully add a little bit more survivability for the VCMDR job. With weapons being buffed and HP changes across the board, I feel as if these changes are need to keep with the times. Job/Class Name: Stormtrooper Commander Weapon kit: E-11, E-11 No Scope, EC-17, DP-23, DLT-19 Current Loadout: Binoculars (White), Cross Arms, Cross Arms (In Front) Add: E-22 (rw_sw_e22) Remove: E-11 No Scope (rw_sw_e11_noscope) Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): The E-22 is a more capable primary weapon for any trooper, especially for one in a Command position. The VCMDR and CMDR kits are okay and really lack a strong primary besides the DLT-19 or DP-23. The E-22 fills that void. Health: - Current: 500 - New: 500 or 550 Armor: - Current: 100 - New: 200 Reason for health/armor changes: Increases of HP and Armor to this job will hopefully add a little bit more survivability for the CMDR job. With weapons being buffed and HP changes across the board, I feel that these changes are need to keep with the times. Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: After talking in great detail with both AHC and ST Command, I believe this changes are fair to both the battalion and the server. The Stormtrooper Corps is meant to be the dominant force within Army with a multitude of Corps and Companies branching off from the main body. Very similar to the Shoretrooper Corps and Scout Company. This, as well as, the following posts are moving the Stormtrooper Corps towards that direction. Strengthening ST proper is a necessary step in maintaining activity and growth with ST and their sub-regiments. All of these changes have been thoroughly thought through and discussed by ST Command, SHC, AHC, myself, and others. These changes will benefit the battalion, Army, and the server by strengthening their jobs and the battalion as a whole.

[rw_sw_dlt19x] The DLT-19X is a very capable marksman rifle but it does have some very noticeable drawbacks with its use. Although fairly hard hitting with its 150 damage, the mag count and reload speed are extremely slow. This leads to a fair amount of time just sitting around waiting for your next clip. Other marksman rifles make up for this with: higher fire rate, more damage, or a faster reload. The primary purpose for this buff is for the Scout Company Rework post that's around the corner. A company of troopers that's primary use is this weapon platform would, I feel, be more specialized in its use than standard troopers. DLT-19X (Current State) Rate of fire: 100RPM Damage: 150 Mobility: 100% Reload Speed: Approximately 4.5-5 Seconds Clip Size: 5 Rounds DLT-19X (Potential Change) Rate of fire: 100RPM or 120RPM Damage: 150 Mobility: 100% Reload Speed: 3 or 3.5 Seconds Clip Size: 7 Rounds I believe the changes listed above will not make this weapon overpowered but give a needed change. I have heard from Scouts and ST Command that they feel as if this gun is underpowered compared to the vast HP pools of various CC's or Event Actors. Hopefully this will alleviate that notion a bit. While I do not believe we can buff this gun to the sky, I believe this change will be helpful for the 82nd Scout Company.

Against All Science! - Hosted by Nimo and Rice on 1/19/22
Bear_ replied to Rice's topic in Event Feedback
Even though I was an event actor, I really enjoyed the event. I hope others enjoyed it as well. -
To preface, I try to not get involved in instances like these, especially as HC and JMT, but my concerns and opinions need to be addressed. I have held off saying anything for a long time due to our own opinions being suppressed and feeling as if they do not matter. As well as, the general apprehension that any opinions not in line with your own are addressed as invalid and our standings being threatened due to us being “replaceable.” The High Command team has consistently, despite a few small bumps, worked very well together and we discuss things with great detail and thought with the benefit of the server always being at the forefront of our thoughts and actions. Even through this, as trusted members of the server with a plethora of experience and the general well being of the server in mind, we are seemingly not trusted to lead the server in RP. I wish, and hopefully at the end of this tunnel, HC and SMT work together to progress changes and decisions. I understand that Managers have the final say on RP decisions but I hope that our opinions are seen as meaningful and well backed as we too have the servers best interest at heart. I hope for a team oriented environment going into the future to bring ImperialRP back to a stronger standing once again. Keegan was an exceptional General and a fantastic HC member. He is unbiased, trustworthy, a team player, and extremely dedicated. I wholeheartedly believe he was wrongfully removed just for sticking up for something that he did not believe in and thought was wrong. I and other HC believed the same thing but held my voice which I wish I would not have done. During Keegan's time he was always working to improve both the player experience and the server. Even still doing so now as a SGM. He was and is still one of the most dedicated people I know and his character speaks volumes. This is not a personal attack made by Keegan in a vengeful manner but rather his addressment of an ongoing issue that has consistently been brushed aside. For Keegan to be discredited as he did bothers me immensely. I hope for his reinstatement as General as it was stripped from him wrongfully. In regards to the IC model update. I found and supplied this model pack to SMT roughly 9 months ago while I was still the Commander of IC (prior to SNR promo). I honestly hoped that they would have been added already as they added a lot of RP to the most expensive donator battalion on the server. I understand this may take time to do and I trusted the process. I even brought them up in a meeting with you directly in which they were promised during the Christmas update that was canceled. I understand your ISP issue during this time but had hoped they would be implemented immediately following your return. Instead, I found out that they were pushed back and now on extreme low priority. I requested an extra assignment to IC to help implement the changes to the battalion and greatly looked forward to Project Omega update. I can tell you for a fact that myself as well as the majority of IC were tremendously disheartened by this. In conclusion, I do not hold anything against you Hotshot nor anyone else. You have always been nice and I believe we have gotten along rather well. Regardless of what happens to me because of my opinions being voiced, I will continue to do my absolute best with what I signed up for and the positions I currently fill. I believe more can be said but I have the hit the points that struck me the hardest. I hope for the best moving forward. +Support

The Loss of Base XR30 - Hosted by Keegan on 1/4/22
Bear_ replied to Keegan's topic in Event Feedback
This was a great event. Battalions such as Starfighter Corps and Scout Company really benefitted from the planning and execution of this event. Great job! -
From what I had seen in the logs I saw that you had either instigated a combat event or had been killed and had come back and killed the person that killed you with a knife. That is NLR (New life rule) and becomes a combat event itself. If you have clips showing that this was in fact not the case for enough of these to not constitute a MRDM then please provide them and we can move in a different direction.

-Support Purge fight along side IQ as a specialized squad working together. Not fighting Jedi 1 on 1. That would be a bit ridiculous. These changes would far unbalance the HP Armor pools and cause more issues than it would solve. That being said, weapon buffs may be useful for purge but I would highly recommend practicing Teamwork Stratagem along side IQ in order to better work together before jumping straight to a large suggestion post. That's my 2 cents.

I have heard so many varying potential issues that I did not know which one to believe. Figured a suggestion post might be my best first option to start narrowing it down haha.

The Z-6I Rotary Blaster Cannon has a noticeable bug on its fire-rate following the initial burst. I am unsure if this is intentionally bugged or something that has not been fixed. If it is intentional, I have thought of a series of nerfs to justify having a weapon such as this on the server in its "un-bugged state." Z-6I (Current State) RPM: initial RPM of 1200 that decreases to 300RPM Damage: 18 Mobility: 100% Z-6I (Potential Change) RPM: 900 RPM Fixed Damage: 15-17 Mobility: 60-70% at the maximum I believe the above change limits the potential for something too overpowered if this weapon were it to be added back without limitations being placed. The potential changes instead potentially add back a Heavy Support weapon into RP and combat that could be of more use than just raw DPS. After discussion with other command teams that have used this and other rotary cannon variants, they have requested to amend this post to include the Z-6 and the Z-2. (I don't believe I am leaving any of them out).

Multiple suggestions for Shore listed below. I believe ST and Shore is in need of a revamp or rework to bring it up to date with the rest of the server. Changing the Job section name for Shore, I believe, makes it look more appealing for someone who may want to join. Battalion Name (F4 job listing): ST: Shore Troopers (As named on server) New Battalion Name (F4 job listing): ST: Shoretrooper Corps Job/Class Name: Shoretrooper: Trooper Change name to: Shoretrooper Reason for name change: Having the Job section name ST: Shore Troopers and having "Shoretrooper:" is a little redundant. These name changes clean up the listings and make it look cleaner/more appealing/professional. Weapon Kit: E-22, DH-17A Current loadout: Binoculars (white), E-22, DH-17A Add: Binoculars (desert) (rw_sw_bino_desert) Add: E-11 (rw_sw_e11) Add: Scatter Shotgun (rw_sw_scattershotgun) Remove: DH-17A (rw_sw_dh17a) Remove: Binoculars (white) (rw_sw_bino_white) Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): I believe the changes listed above are fair. The Training Guide has been made a bit harder for applicants to get into the battalion for this very reason. The DH-17A is a weapon that I do not believe adds any strength to the class. The removal of that and addition of the Scatter Shotgun adds a stronger defensive feature to the class that it did not have before. The Shoretrooper Corps is a defensive frontline specialized battalion. Their weapons and armor reflect as much. These changes above and below reflect what myself, ST CMDR Grim, and AHC think is the best course for Shore. Additionally, the E-11, in lore, was a weapon that all Shore had in their immediate arsenal. The Binocular change is just an aesthetic change that fits Shore more appropriately due to the color scheme of their armor. Health: - Current: 200 - New: 250 Armor: - Current: 125 - New: 150 Reason for health/armor changes: I understand the Shoretrooper base class is an entry level job in an entry battalion, but with the changes to the training guide I believe the small buff to HP and Armor are warranted. Drawing inspiration from my Havoc battalion update from a couple months ago. Shore is a defensive frontline specialty, and I believe it would be best that the entry class has a little more HP/Armor to better suit their role as the frontline defense. Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: Explanations will be given at the end of the post. Job/Class Name: Shoretrooper: Specialist Changes: Removal of Class/Job Reasoning: Specialist does not have a purpose in the current line up of Shore. Having 5 total jobs for Shore, I believe, stretches the regiment too thin. Simplifying the job list will help with this. Job/Class Name: Shoretrooper: Sergeant Change name to: Shoretrooper Heavy Reasoning for Name and Job Change: The models in use on Sergeant and Specialist are the same. The actual NCO model is on the CQB class which is further down this post. The Sergeant Job being renamed to Heavy seemed a logical choice due to its higher HP. The model is perfect due to the issue in Lore for armor patterns. This model fits the specialty armor and would work well as the subclass for Shore. Weapon Kit: E-22, DH-17A, DLT-19 Current Loadout: Binoculars (White), DH-17A, E-22, DLT-19 Add: Binoculars (Desert) (rw_sw_bino_desert) Add: Z-6I (rw_sw_z6i) Add: Scatter Shotgun (rw_sw_scattershotgun) Remove: DH-17A (rw_sw_dh17a) Remove: Binoculars (White) (rw_sw_bino_white) Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): The Scatter Shotgun change is directly reflected in the Shore mission calling. Defensive Frontline Force. They are given the tools to hold at short to medium ranges while Scouts attack or defend from afar. Additionally, for Heavy, the Z-6I fits the mission calling extremely well with Heavy troopers as the support members of the Shoretrooper Corps. With the greater hp, armor, and weapons to represent the calling, Heavy troopers will be a force to be feared and instrumental to their comrades in the heat of battle. Health: - Current: 300 - New: 300 or 350 Armor: - Current: 125 - New: 200 Reason for health/armor changes: These HP and Armor changes best reflect what I believe Shore Heavy should be. The increased HP/Armor will better improve the Heavy in both their ability to complete their assigned tasks and their presence on the battlefield. The subclass will be, on average, a little harder than normal to get into in order to justify these increases. Job/Class Name: Shoretrooper: CQB Change name to: Shoretrooper Squad Lead Reason for name change: When Shore was initially implemented, the CQB class was the NCO subclass. The model in use on this class reflected as much. The change from CQB to Squad Lead reflects the ranking structure that Grim and myself would like it to change to. Something more streamlined and lore friendly. Squad Lead job is the NCO+ job for the Shoretrooper Corps. Weapon Kit: E-22, DH-17A, Scatter Shotgun Current Loadout: Binoculars (White), DH-17A, E-22, Scatter Shotgun Add: Binoculars (Desert) (rw_sw_bino_desert) Add: E-11 (rw_sw_e11) Add: DLT-19 (rw_sw_dlt19) Add: Cross Arms Swep (Behind back) (cross_arms_swep) Optional Add: RK3 (rw_sw_rk3) Remove: DH-17A (rw_sw_dh17a) Remove: Binoculars (White) (rw_sw_bino_white) Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): In the Shoretrooper Corps, the Squad Lead job is a frontline command class. Its job is to be no less in the heat of the battle than the rest of their lower ranked comrades. As so, the job should sport a sufficient deal of strength in order to better lead their troops. For the addition of the DLT-19, both Grim and myself wanted a weapon similarly found on the Heavy class. Something not overpowered but useful and would be shown as a sort of progression out of the subclass and into the NCO job. The addition for the RK-3 is a progressionary weapon. The Dual RK-3 is found on the next job up in rank, so, in carrying, would show a representation of status or rank. Health: - Current: 225 - New: 350 or 400 Armor: - Current: 150 - New: 150 Reason for health/armor changes: The increase HP/Armor should be representative of a NCO+ job. Armor that does not overreach beyond the Heavy job makes sense. Heavy should be clear and defined as having the most armor to fulfill their support role. Squad Lead fulfills a similar role from a leadership position, though not to as much of an extreme. The HP increase we view as necessary since this NCO job takes such a frontline position. This would allow them to more effectively lead their troops in combat. Job/Class Name: Shoretrooper: Captain Change name to: Shoretrooper Captain Reason for name change: Removal of the colon to match new job names. Weapon Kit: E-22, DH-17A, TL-50, Dual RK-3, Scatter Shotgun Current Loadout: Cross arms, Cross arms in front, Binoculars (white), E-22, DH-17A, TL-50, Dual RK-3, Scatter Shotgun Add: Binoculars (desert) (rw_sw_bino_desert) Add: Hunter Shotgun (rw_sw_huntershotgun) Add: DLT-19 (rw_sw_dlt19) Remove: Binoculars (white) (rw_sw_bino_white) Remove: TL-50 (rw_sw_tl50) Remove: Scatter Shotgun (rw_sw_scattershotgun) Remove: DH-17A (rw_sw_dh17a) Reason for change (do you think that said weapons is suitable for the job and is fair considering current loadouts of other battalions?): The addition of the Hunter Shotgun to the Shoretrooper Captain job shows a natural progression to the uppermost job of the sub regiment. With the possible addition of the Scatter Shotgun to the other classes, the Captain job should have that upgrade to its kit. Something visibly different from the lower classes. The DLT-19 addition is for the same reasons as the Squad Lead addition, since Shore is a very frontline-centric class. With the removal of the TL-50, even though it's well-used on the job, it just seems out of place with the other Shore kits in game. The addition of the DLT-19 would replace it. Health: - Current: 350 - New: 400 or 450 Armor: - Current: 200 - New: 200 Reason for health/armor changes: With the armor already being high, I believe there is no need to change it. The HP change I view as necessary due to the potential HP changes to the classes below it. The small HP buff would allow this frontline lead job to lead to a better extent and mirror HP similar to that of a frontline officer and lead job. Do you believe these changes are fair to the battalion/job role it is responsible for and will benefit the server, if so, why?: After careful consideration, all of the listed changes are believed to be both fair and balanced. The Stormtrooper/Shoretrooper Corps has been long overdue for much needed adjustments. This, as well as, other planned changes, if accepted, will ideally straighten out a lot with the ST/Shore Battalions and give it a specific function. Over the last several months, Shore has undergone changes without any real direction being given. The changes listed above straighten all this out and put the Shoretrooper Corps on a definitive path on the server. I believe, with the ever-changing meta and additions, that these suggestions are not only fair but also needed. All of these changes have been thoroughly vetted and thought through by myself (Bear), ST CMDR Grim, among all AHC, and other various people. These changes will benefit the battalion and the server by strengthening their jobs and the battalion as a whole.

In-Game Name: Bear Steam Name: [GL] Bear SteamID: STEAM_0:1:92083887 What is your staff rank and the server you work in? Gamemaster Senior-Admin ImperialRP How often are you online on the forums? Usually everyday. Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? Between GM and moderation, I want to help out more where I can. Forum Diplomat and Support are both areas that I have been wanting to join for a while. I have maintained a strong track record on ImperialRP Staff team and I believe I can be trusted with the responsibility of Forum Diplomat. Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision? I believe I have and maintain good judgement. I am High Command on ImperialRP and the position comes with its own degree of responsibilities and difficulties. The position requires difficult decisions be made, especially in regards to disciplinary actions on troopers that have broken or disregarded the rules. How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers? The user would first be requested to stop and the spam posts hidden. If the user persists in spam or other warn able behavior then contact/inform the Head Diplomat for disciplinary measures. How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal? Inform both users to stop arguing and keep feedback to the standard +/- Support functions. If the arguing continues then the specified post may have to be put on Locked until SMT can review. Thank you for considering my application.
