Government Raid System, UI Changes, and Weapon Balancing 4/30/2023 Changes: Government Raid System: The new government raid system has been released to the server! With this new addition, police supply crates will appear within government buildings periodically which government must defend while criminals attempt to break into those buildings and steal the contents! Contents include weapons up to Class 5 variety and large sums of cash. On top of that, criminals gain the flex of being better than government forces after winning! Tab menu colors: After input we've heard from you, we've made it so colored categories appear in the tab menu for each section within the F4 menu! This will help tell apart different 'teams' and make it easier to find someone in the list of online players. New General Store Menu: The General Store NPC menus have been revamped! HitReg Addition, Bank Updates, Bug Fix Overhaul and Weapon Rotation! 4/15/2023 Changes: HitReg: We've added a new addon called HitReg! This system will fix and make it so there are no more "missed hits" when you see blood on your screen, but no damage is dealt. By fixing the hitboxes, this will allow for more rewarding PVP and should help those with poor connections/ performance have a better chance at winning fights. Prior to this update, hit registration was processed serverside which caused these "missed hits", which this is now processed clientside for more accurate battle outcomes. Bank Updates: The max bank holding amount has seen an increase to $10 billion, allowing for more money to be stored in your account. A limit of $300 million has been placed on interest, capping the amount players can have sitting unclaimed in their bank accounts. Make sure to claim your interest routinely so you can maximize your profits! A limit of $20 million has been added, meaning the most interest you can get from one day would be $20 million. Reminder that the most you can have in unclaimed interest on your account is $300 million. Bug Fixes: The Senior Management Team over the past week has worked on fixing, and closing out many of the reported bugs or issues you let us know about! Bank interest/ balance disappearing This bug has existed for a while, and has caused the bank balances of some player's to reset, or not go above a certain amount. The total amount a bank account can hold has been increased, and a limit has been imposed on the amount of interest you have sitting and accumulate. Make sure to login to make sure you're not loosing out on interest! $$$ Unable to create vote A bug with not being able to create a vote for certain jobs (for example, the Vice President job) has been fixed! This also resolves the issue with the demote command not working for staff and government command positions. Donation items not appearing in inventories An issue with items not appearing in the inventory, such as the Gold Present, has been fixed. Easter Sale, Rule Update, New Dept Head Weapon, Bank Update, Weapon Balancing! 4/8/2023 Changes: Easter Sale: Gaminglight's Easter Store Sale has begun! Enjoy 15% off store packages now through Tuesday April 11th! Rule Update: It is now against the rules to intentionally commit suicide using an explosive, and is considered FailRP. New Department Head Weapon: Government Department Head jobs (such as a Commander, Director, PD HC, etc.) will now spawn with the concussion grenade. The concussion grenade is used to heavily distort and disorient an opponent by blurring vision, and making sounds distorted. These grenades are best used in confined spaces, where they are able to effect multiple people within it's blast radius. (Note: this grenade does not deal out any kind of damage.) Bank Update: A suggestion to reduce the required amount of online government forces to start a bank robbery has been reduced. New Level Jobs, Update to Community Guidelines, Building Rules Addition, Weapon Rotation, and Bug Fixes 4/2/23 Changes: New Level Jobs: Two new level jobs have been released to the server with unique weapons on each! Demolitions Expert (lvl 70+) equipped with Proximity Mines. Saboteur (lvl 90+) equipped with a Timed C4. Both jobs have only one player slot available, so hop on them when you can throughout the day! These two new jobs contain explosive weaponry that dishes out some serious damage! Reminder to government folks; explosives are considered a Class 5 weapon, and get placed in the same category as smokes and flash grenades! Shadow Banning and Server Optimizations 1/20/23 Changes: Shadow Banning: Players that have not been permanently banned or blacklisted will be able to join the server while they are banned. These players will not be able to use voice chat, props, or networking, and won't effectively be able to do anything other than walk around. Banned players that choose to connect while they are banned will shorten their ban time an extra hour for every hour they play. These player are KOS, and should be RDMed if you see them! Bug Fixes: Fixed issue where players who were not banned could get on the shadow banned job. Maintenance has been performed throughout the week to help optimize server performance.
