Playable surface scps are not really a good idea, because there will never really be a lot of people roaming around the surface for them to interact with.

We removed the chess tables because not only were they one of the laggiest things on the server, people barely ever used them.

With the lag/crashing concerns with our previous system, and how this would drastically upset the balance of the server, I don't believe it is best to add mining back at this time.
