A gas restriction sounds great. Although, there isn't many people who can use gas. For example, a base with 10+ people inside, insane gun power, good base and lots of cops dead. 1 or 2 gas might not be able to take them down. I like @myandabeast's idea about players:gas ratio. In some situations, 1 or 2 gas may not have any effect.

That’s the point we’re making. People LIKE ARU no matter who ran it in the past. It’s about the future. It attracts people, gives more options for tac units no matter where they originate from and so much more. Guess we’ll leave it up to SMT now. But this is our chance to prove to you why it is a good idea. We will run it to the best of our abilities.

I thought this was America until I saw non-American custom classes. Not everyone in the gMod community is American and that’s something we met and understood a long time ago. Maybe it’s time to add onto the non-American custom classes with a tac unit. It’ll attract players from different locations and add variety. Everything else is said in the original post.

The thing is, SRT is an existing division and we wouldn’t want to change anything about them. It’s a semi-serious RP server so not everything is perfect. Having a British department that people knew would attract old and new players. We understand where you’re coming from, but would love the opportunity to prove ourselves and to prove ARU was worth adding back. It’ll help grow, attract and give people not only American tac Unit opportunities but hopefully British too. Theres custom classes that aren’t American, multiple from all around the world. So basing the point around just it being an American server, doesn’t quite make sense. If this suggestion does get accepted, we won’t let the community down. We will fight and we will make it the best we can.

Who officially came up with the idea, doesn’t matter. It’s about the future, not the past. Anyone could ask that question about any department. It benefitted the server, attracted more players and now that we want to bring it back and run it out way, players are already attracted to the idea and some will even come back because of it. Stop thinking about the past, and think for the future. It’s beneficial, adds variety and gives people more preference options. This is not a debate, this is a suggestions post which the majority of people support because they want to see how it will work, they want to see how we run it and they want to see the future. Not the past. Maybe your opinion will change when you see us running at successfully and the right way.

We explained why we wanted to add ARU. Not that the fact that we could have easily requested to add Korean or Jamaican or Australian whilst were at it, but we want the opportunity and chance to create a department that once was a thing. Valkyrie didn’t run the department terribly, he just made bad decisions. We will keep going back to the point that Valkyrie is NO way associated with ARU. He ran it in the past and now we want to run it in the future. Leave why happened in the past, in the past. You say about all those different departments that we could have suggested to add but why was BSI added when there is FBI? Why was SRT added where there was SWAT and ARU? Exactly. All because we wanted to see something different. ARU was not created by Valkyrie. It was ran by Valkyrie in the past and now we want to run it in the future. Give it a chance, see something new. Everyone has their doubts about departments before they get added. Look where BSI, NSA, SRT, CAT and many more ended up. Give it a chance. Maybe you will change you opinion. If you read the suggestion post, it says it under the “Why” question.

Nolan came and spoke to us about it when he saw the suggestion. He was for it, not against. Like we hope others will be in the end. Valks toys or not. That is what it was in the past and Valk is no longer here. It’s to add variety, a change and attract players from not only America, but from other places around the world as well. We want the chance to prove to others that because of what happened in the past, it won’t affect how we see it i the future and the present. ARU wont be overpowered, it’ll be fair. Just like the other departments when they got nerfed. If people had bad history with Valk, they can have bad history with Valk. ARU is not Valk. It’s something he ran in the past and to be honest, he did a good job at running the department but just made bad decisions. That’s not what we will do if ARU is brought back.

In the suggestion, we posted why we wanted ARU back. ARU is no way associated with Valkyrie and won’t be. This won’t give the server a bad image, it would attract new players to join because of the variety of departments and it also has and will attract old players as seen in Nolan’s and others replies.

It won't replace SRT. It's just another additional like SRT was. Same with NSA, BSI and a bunch of other departments. It will help the server and will not associate with Valk in any way. The past is in the past and this is a new future.

+ MAJOR Support Biccy has 17 hours on the server. I know that doesn't affect anything but it really does. He didn't know the map and have got multiple people stuck inside and outside of the map. Ontop of that, he never contacted Fame after buying donor mod. Biccy has caused MULTIPLE problems today that I have seen. It's disappointing for a staff member. Earlier on he was: uncloaked on duty, cloaked on duty, not going on staff, being disrespectful, etc. Everything he just stated, happened. I received a call from NSA Cow saying "CAN I GET ANOTHER ADMIN PLEASE?" So I responded. I instantly was greeted by OFC Biccy saying "BUT YOU STILL RDMED ME OMG" I told Biccy that you can't take your own sits, which he would have known if he read the MOTD. I kindly asked Biccy to leave, he did not do so at first and then around 5 minutes later he left just after saying "But you still RDMed me omg wtf dude" and then flew off. I began to talk to Cow about the real reason he asked for an admin - which was NLR. I then asked Cow of a username if he knew it, before Cow could respond. Around: https://imgur.com/a/NEZ0S0J. He of course had his physgun out and then decided to use it to launch Cow off the side of this building leaving him with 17hp. I tried to get the logs of Cow losing 83 health from being flown off the building, but logs reset. I apologised to Cow and told him I was going to confront Biccy and if it was possible for him to record it since I do not have OBS installed right now. He did so. I brought Biccy, Biccy instantly flew away. I brought him again, he kept saying stuff along the lines of "Blah blah not listening he RDMed me so I don't care". I then jailed Biccy so he couldn't fly away and he kept trying to escape by doing !return. I confronted him, question him and well, he's guilty. The video recording that Cow linked above is enough proof. He still kept trying to return himself as me and Cow were confronting him and he then knew there was so way to escape... I would like to see him removed permanently for staff abuse, immaturity, breach of staff handbook, unprofessionalism and so much more. It's disgusting and he should not be a staff member. What you want to see? - The ability to be able to shoot through building glass. Such as bank, houses etc. Why should we add it? - Would make handling situations like bank raids or general stores more legit.
