Damien Posted January 24, 2022 Share Posted January 24, 2022 What you want to see? - Me personally, I would like to see night time be removed Why should we `remove` it? - Honestly night time worked on that big city map, but as it looks now its not really pleasant to the maps design, I hope I can speak for a lot of people when daylight looks better. Yeah sure it will add a sense of realism, but if it was gonna stay maybe optimize it more, either way the server is a little laggy recently. What are the advantages of having this? - the advantages, well there can be many, when something looks nice people wanna see it more, that point stands with art itself, or maybe it can reduce the lag, yes of course not remove the lag problem completely, but I am sure it can help at least a little? Who is it mainly for? - Mainly everyone, I figured that it might and could possibly be the source of some lag spikes, so maybe help reduce it a little. PD Could pull you over for not having your lights on during the night time. So i think if we remove it then we could lose out on some RP with no real benefit to reduce lag. The SMT team for this server has decided against adding this suggestion for performance reasons, the benefit to the server, or another unstated reason.
