1. Steam Name?: PlantBruh

2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:546300901

3. Roster Name?: PlantBruh

4. Current Rank?: CPT

5. When were you promoted?: August 7th

6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 4 months now? I've been in GenSec as long as I've been in GamingLight.

7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: Yes.

8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Absolutely. I plan to keep helping  anybody who needs help within GenSec.

9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Of course. I try to keep a level head, if I feel that someone has a better plan than me I'll follow through with it, it doesn't matter matter what rank they are. Everyone can have good ideas and not listening to them just because they're a lower rank is not only hindering us, but all of gensec.

10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): Becoming a Major would be a massive step for me, not only as a GenSec command but also as a regular GamingLight player. Being senior command would mean exciting new ways for me not only to grow as a command member but also interact withe the community in new and exciting ways! I'm very active in GenSec and I would be able to exercise every part of what becoming a Major does. My activity also means I can be on the server where ever I'm needed and can effectively help out wherever I'm needed. When I became low command, I never let it go to my head, I try to keep calm, cool, and collected at all times. I try to keep the game as fun as possible for everyone involved in not only GenSec, but also any and everyone that GenSec interacts with. I would absolutely bring this attitude with me into Senior Command! Having fun was always my number one priority when joining GenSec. (It IS a game after all) That's why joining Senior Command seems so appealing to me, being Senior Command means I can experience just about everything that GenSec has to offer, its a cool and exciting experience that I believe would expand not only into new interactions for me to explore but also make me a better command member. Senior Command seems like a great challenge for me to tackle and become the absolute best command member that I can possibly become. Adversity either makes or breaks a person and I believe I am more than capable of taking on the challenges that come with Senior Command. I understand that Senior Command wouldn't just be playing around the whole time, I'm very aware that there will be time where Senior Command members will have to make tough decisions and I know that I have the wherewithal and conviction to help in hard decisions that Senior Command needs to make. I'm focused, convicted, and more than ready to take on all the Responsibilities, tribulations, and decision making that comes with Senior Command!
11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I would explain to the new GenSec member that you cannot leave D-Block without the correct permissions, and I hope that is all I would have to say, But if it becomes a serious problem I would talk to him one more time and he still didn't understand why it was a problem, or was rude to me while I was explaining to him why leaving D-Block like he has can become an issue, I would possibly remove him for showing a great deal of non compliance that would become an issue if he moved any further up into GenSec.

12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: If an NCO was leaving D-Block for bad reasons I would sit him down and explain to him that as an NCO he has to be a role model for enlisted, and not being there to help defend and take control of D-Block when he is needed would look terrible for not only him, but also GenSec as a whole. The first talk would be a reminder, that he should be better and act better for everyone in the branch. If we had to have another talk I would tell him that I expected much better from an NCO. If he still couldn't stay in D-Block I would strike him for willfully breaking GenSec rules. I would ask him to reconsider his path, he's got to look good for GenSec, he's supposed to be a shining example of what a good GenSec member looks like. I would also warn him about breaking rules like this again. If I ever had to talk to the NCO again he would be demoted back down to CPL until he can get his act together as a GenSec member. Willfully and repeatedly breaking and abusing his powers as an NCO shows he is absolutely unworthy and unready for the NCO program. Its a harsh punishment but if an NCO cannot follow orders and wants to set bad examples for GenSec it will be dealt with accordingly.

13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would ask him to explain why he is even D-Block in the first place (assuming there's no extraordinary circumstances) as E-11 can't be in D-Block unless given permission from DSD+. I would ask him to not only stop trying to take control of GenSec, but also leave D-Block for his rude actions and obvious rule breaking. I would make sure to get his name and any evidence I need to send to his higher-ups.

14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: Well the very first thing I would do when talking to the soon to be NCO, is congratulate him. Not many people show drive to make it to the NCO program. The next thing to tell him would be not only the big increase in responsibility, but also his new freedoms as an NCO. Afterwards I would tell him he is required to have a GamingLight forums account or we couldn't go any further, i would provide a link to the forums and have him make an account. I would do this first because if he can't make a forums account then I could not train him for SGT. As an NCO he will be allowed to leave D-Block to go anywhere he needs to in LCZ, that includes doing patrols or assisting Wardens/MTF with whatever needs to be stopped in LCZ. He would also be expected to command in D-Block, and be a shining role model for not only enlisted but also GenSec. He would be told that he will be assigning escorts for researchers. It would be up to him to choose who should go with them and who shouldn't, and would explain that OFC+ can go through LCZ and that only CPL+ can go into HCZ. I would explain that he can get trained for Security Trainer (FTO) and also for Security Sniper. Before I go any further I would tell him that if he abuses any of his new freedoms he can and will be removed from the NCO program. After explaining his responsibilities and new found freedoms I would instruct him on the NCO guide. I would explain all the NCO ranks to him, the lockdown protocols, and that he can call hands-up and partial lockdown on Code Orange/Black. I would go over binds with him if he did not already have them as a CPL. I would explain the parameters for getting promotions as an NCO because they will have changed slightly after moving up from being an enlisted. He would now have a 3 day promotion cooldown instead of the usual 1 day promotion. I would explain the importance of being a good model for enlisted and showing more leadership skills in D-Block, and being disciplined and helping any enlisted who might need help with a problem. I would explain to him that taking command in D-Block would be expected and would great for showing you're ready to move up in the NCO program. While on the topic of promotions I would also tell him that he can apply to be a WO when the applications open up. Afterwards we would go through the combat procedures and the best tactics to deal with GOI raids, SCP breaches, or D-Class riots.  At the end I would tell him about the NCO activity logs, what they mean, and the absolute importance of them. I would press the issue, and make sure he understands just how important they are for us command who can't always be on the server. When he understands how they work I would give him his NCO tags in discord and walk him though making an NCO log for the first time. I would thank him for being so patient and once again congratulate him for making it SGT, and i would wish him the best as a fresh NCO. He would get the Junior NCO White List and I would set him on his way!
