The Alpha job should be special but at the same time D4s are already a powerful SF, this doesn't destroy them in any way. As Soul pointed out this was Colt's idea so it makes sense why E11 HCMD wasn't contacted, it came from higher up. Now should Colt have mentioned it to you? Maybe, but this was in no way Nu7 trying to ruffle your feathers.
