How well do you know the Code of Ethics (On a scale of 1-10)?:

TL;DR: 10/10, if needed I will make this 11/10.

I remember when the Code Of Ethics was officially out. SA handed it over in an all-command meeting, and I skimmed through it, trying to get the hang of it. I'd give myself a solid 7.5 out of 10 for grasping the basics back then.

Then I joined Delta-5, and boy, did I dive deep into learning it. I went through every section, every amendment, making sure I had it down. I'd rate my understanding at a strong 9 out of 10 by that point. I left no stone unturned.

And here I am now, pre-gaming this application with the Code Of Ethics. If needed, I wont just become familiar with it, I will memorize every section; every amendment; every code down to the bone, fuck it, bone marrow to ensure I excel in being a Omega-1 Command Member.

Why do you believe that you are the best fit for HCMD?:

TL;DR: I possess a deep understanding of Omega-1 lore, which enables me to contribute effectively as an Officer. My problem-solving skills and adaptability allow me to handle unpredictable situations and make quick decisions. With experience in commanding branches and strong role-playing abilities, I am equipped to lead and communicate effectively. My dedication to immersive storytelling and commitment to upholding Omega-1's objectives make me a competent candidate for the Officer role.

  • Deep Understanding of Omega-1 Lore:

As I have said previously, I have developed a very deep understanding of the Omega-1 lore. If you want to be an Omega-1 Officer to the best of your abilities, then you have to know the lore. I have gained valuable insights such as the lore, objective, and reasoning for the Mobile Task Force Omega-1. This knowledge equips me with the necessary foundation and competence to contribute effectively as an HCMD member and be a valuable asset to MTF Omega-1 as a whole.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:

As an Omega-1 Officer, being adaptable is an absolute must. You gotta be quick on your feet and ready to go with whatever situation randomly pops up. My time in the MTF branches and Research Command has given me the experience to adapt to new situations, along with the ability to command a branch. This has taught me how to jump into new situations while leading my Enlisted/NCOs. I can excel in fast-paced settings where making snap decisions and being flexible is a number 1# skill. These skills let me handle tricky scenarios, come up with fresh ideas, and tackle the challenges that Omega-1 High Command throws my way.

  • Ability to Command a Branch:

Commanding a branch requires more than just giving orders. It's about keeping a branch running, along with teamwork and keeping communication to an acceptable level. My experience in Research Command has honed my leadership skills and given me a solid foundation for commanding a team/branch. In addition, my extensive RP abilities have strengthened my communication skills, allowing me to effectively convey information and engage with others. I actively listen to my team, communicate clearly, and make sure everyone feels included. By keeping common objectives and coordinating effectively, I ensure smooth operations and a thriving branch.

  • Strong Role-playing Abilities:

My time in Research (A branch that stays alive on role-play) translates into strong role-playing abilities, which are crucial for an Omega-1 member. Although I do not know what Omega-1 is going to be like on the server, I do know that it will most likely be a 50/50 branch or an RP-heavy branch. I understand the importance of keeping Role-Play strong when on the job, and will make sure that I am doing so. By immersing myself in the role of an Omega-1 Officer/Command, I will contribute to the branch's objectives while delivering engaging and memorable experiences for people Role-Playing alongside me.

  • Conclusion:

In conclusion, my deep understanding of Omega-1 lore, problem-solving skills, collaborative nature, dedication, and strong role-playing abilities make me a competent candidate for the Omega-1 role. With a commitment to upholding the principles and objectives of Omega-1, I am prepared to contribute effectively as an HCMD member.

Why do you want to be Omega-1 HCMD?:

Before I got into GL SCP-RP, I was all about SCP stuff on the SCP-Wikidot, SCP Wiki, and SCP Subreddit. But there was one thing that really grabbed my attention and got me curious: Mobile Task Force Omega-1, also known as "Laws Left Hand," a special unit made just for the Ethics Committee. The first time I stumbled upon "Tanhony's Proposal" on the SCP Wikidot, it blew my mind. It was this awesome story where the Ethics Committee took out the 05 Council and replaced them. But the thing that really caught my eye; had me invested was the introduction of Omega-1.

After that, I couldn't stop thinking about Omega-1. Whenever someone talked about SCP, I'd end up going off about how cool Omega-1 is. Some of you might remember my last days on the Event Team, where I ran a bunch of Omega-1 events. Those things went on for hours longer than planned because I just couldn't get enough of playing as an Omega-1 unit. Sometimes, I'd even team up with another ET member or friend. I even thought about suggesting to make Omega-1 official, but then I found out someone already tried that a while back and got turned down.

When I saw Piller's announcement, I freaked out, and my heart actually fucking stopped. Ever since I started playing SCP-RP, I knew deep down that I had to be part of Omega-1 if it ever happened. It's honestly kind of crazy that it hasn't been done yet. So why do I want to be part of Omega-1 HCMD? Well, it's simple. My love for SCP just wouldn't be the same without it.

Omega-1 is not just some random thing to me that I decided to apply for, like Alpha-1 or GOC. It's a whole world of awesome lore and potential. being the Ethics Committees' personal MTF gives Omega-1  a unique role and a ton of responsibility. The opportunities and potential that Omega-1 are absolutely incredible, and knowing that I can activate this potential, give me all the drive I need to make this branch go down as one of the greats.

For me, Omega-1 is the ultimate go-to for immersive storytelling and role-playing. Being Omega-1 HCMD means endless opportunities as a branch, making important choices, and shaping how things go down. My first application for Omega-1 (as alot of you probably know), was for normal Command. Then I really started thinking, how much everyone supported me, and the people who pushed me to just go for HCMD, I thought "I really could do this." And here we are.

To Dutch, Cintal, Devil, Akuto, Spider, and the many many other people who gave me the courage to make this other app, thank you.

How do you plan on running the branch?:

When it comes to my plan for running the branch, I vision a roleplay tilted branch. I believe that immersing in the role of Omega-1 would be far better than having another combat-based MTF branch. Having a roleplay-focused MTF branch would provide more diversity, and bring a balanced start to the branch.

To ensure the branch's success, I will focus on appointing experienced individuals, who are familiar with Omega-1, to be in command. Since this wouldn't be just a normal MTF branch, I believe that this would be the best route to go. Having dedicated and capable leaders who understand the intricacies of the branch and possess strong communication skills will be crucial. I will seek out command members who can effectively collaborate with each other and with the rest of the branch, fostering a supportive and cohesive team dynamic.

I also believe that integrating the Omega-1 lore would be a great idea. Of course, some things would have to be changed, no doubt (Because of how Alpha-1 and Omega-1 are going to be equals, and in lore Omega-1<--The 05 Council). But I believe by doing so, could increase roleplay immersion, and enthusiasm within the branch.

In summary, my approach to running the branch is centered around creating a role-play-focused environment, appointing experienced leaders, and integrating the lore of Omega-1 within the branch. By doing so, we will cultivate a dynamic and immersive atmosphere where our members can actively participate, collaborate, and contribute to the ongoing activities.

What skills and qualities do you possess that show you are competent enough to run the branch?:

I possess a wide range of skills and qualities that demonstrate my competence to successfully run a new branch from scratch. Here are the key points:

  • Vision and Planning:

I can analyze the needs of the community and develop a structure that aligns with the overall objectives of the server. By setting clear goals and outlining actionable steps, I will ensure the branch is built on a solid foundation.

  • Recruitment and Team Building:

Building a successful branch requires assembling a competent and dedicated command team. I possess strong recruitment and team-building skills, allowing me to identify individuals with the right expertise and passion for the branch. With my expertise and love for Omega-1, I can confidently pick the people I think would be best to have as Command and guarantee that Omega-1 has a solid Command team to start off with.

  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving:

Starting a new branch comes with its own set of challenges and unforeseen obstacles. I have problem-solving skills that I have picked up in my time playing SCP-RP, which will be extremely valuable in facing the uncertainties that come with establishing a new branch. I can think creatively, remain flexible in the face of change, and devise effective solutions to overcome obstacles.

  • Communication and Collaboration:

I have extremely good communication and collaboration skills which I will explain in better detail in the coming question.

  • Passion and Dedication:

Above all, my passion for this branch and my dedication to its success are above any other candidate applying. I am committed to investing the time and effort required to ensure its growth and prosperity. I will lead by example, demonstrating my enthusiasm and commitment to the branch's goals.

In conclusion, my vision and planning abilities, resource management skills, recruitment and team-building expertise, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities, communication and collaboration proficiency, as well as my passion and dedication, collectively demonstrate my competence to successfully run a new branch from scratch. With these skills and qualities, I am confident in my ability to establish a thriving and dynamic branch that contributes positively to the server's community.

How will you maintain branch relationships and upkeep communication with other branches?:

For communication, I aim to find a balance when maintaining a level of confidentiality within Omega-1 while still fostering open and effective communication with other branches. I believe in transparency to a reasonable extent, ensuring that other branches feel comfortable talking to Omega-1 without fear of severe consequences. By establishing clear guidelines and expectations, we can create a great middle-ground (Confidentiality wise) and constructive and helpful communication, allowing for collaboration from Omega-1 to other branches.

In terms of branch relations, my approach will be centered around setting a positive example. I will encourage all members, especially those in command positions, to be a great example, as Omega-1 should be held to a higher standard. By demonstrating professionalism, respect, and a strong work ethic, we can foster healthy relationships with other branches. It is crucial that we promote a supportive and cooperative atmosphere, where branches can rely on one another for assistance, advice, and shared objectives. Through proactive engagement and leading by example, we can build trust, strengthen alliances, and contribute to the overall harmony and success of the server.

That's all folks

(Side note: Fourth Omega-1 Application I have had to write, if this isn't dedication then idk what is.)

Extreme lack of experience which makes me highly skeptical of this application. I've seen good work from u but this is a new branch which will need someone experienced to run. Which I dont see in u. However, there are many positive contributing factors so Ill settle for neutral.

ahh boba. One of my own research trainees, little did i know he'd very quickly surpass my own ranks and hit command.

He's been incredibly dedicated to roleplay for as long as i can remember (which isn't all that long, granted, But point is, boba is good at rp)

He's done great work in research, And he has made some fantastic documents that i wish he had included on this application. Let this man make those SOPs and they will be beautiful.

During his time in ET, He did a handful of omega-1 events. They weren't anything terribly complicated, Just some ET buddies running around and enforcing ethics (at least the ones i participated in) and everyone had a great time. It was quite memorable fun

I can't quite comment on his experience command wise, But he certainly hasn't done a bad job by any means. Going from low command straight to HCMD is a huge jump, But i think boba would handle that jump well. He has the dedication to learn how to run his position, and how to do a fantastic job at it

  • Thanks 1
