Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat?
I have been on gaminglight SCP-RP for near to a year, throughout my time here I've been in staff twice and haven't joined a time thus I feel like I should try to join one and contribute to the community even more. I'm constantly on the forums and active on gaminglight, I'm constantly taking sits and trying to help my other staff members. I've also been staff of the week 3 times in a row and I feel like I should now try to contribute more to the community out of the game and on the forums rather than only on the server.
Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision?
I consider myself to have good judgement as throughout my time I have issued punishments to multiple members within my branch as SCMD / LCMD and issued punishments to players in the community as a staff member. As a DHFTO within delta-5 and when I was R&D I had to do multiple blacklists for people who broke the rules too many times or committed extremely bad offenses with clear and set punishments which shows I am capable of reaching a set decision without my mind being clouded by any other outside sources. Also as a Senior mod I have warned people without any bias involved and in some cases banning people.
How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers?
Firstly, I would look at the content of the spam posts, then hide all the posts which are being spammed after that depending on the content I would instantly elevate it to a senior Diplomat+ however If It is nothing serious and just general trolling I would notify the user through the PM system on the forums and tell them, "Hello, I am speaking on behalf of the forum diplomat team, you are currently breaking forum rules by spamming posts in multiple topics regarding your ban appeal if you continue to do this It will lead to a formal forum warning or ban. Please cease this behaviour and remain patient while waiting for your ban appeal to be reviewed." And then notify other Forum Diplomats to keep an eye on this user for any other rule breaks which they commit.
How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal?
I would firstly read the posts which are being sent by both users, depending on the content of which is being sent I would elevate the situation to a Senior Diplomat+ however if the posts are just general arguing then I would lock and hide both posts then message both of the individuals through the forums PM system, ""Hello, I am speaking on behalf of the forum diplomat team, please do not talk / argue within warn appeals and keep message to + supports / - supports as If you don't you are breaking forums rules and may be formally warned and If seen constantly doing it banned from the forums." and then notify other Forum Diplomats to keep an eye on this user for any other rule breaks which they commit.
