  1. Junior Researcher HiZenze’s Ever First Test Question: What would happen if D-Class read a page about Asthma from SCP-1025? Would they simply learn about Asthma or will they develop Asthma themself? Background Research: SCP-1025, at first glance, is a simple book titled “The Encyclopedia of Common Diseases” but upon reading, the reader will start to experience the symptoms of what they read, which can be dangerous and even fatal. Observation: D-Class Prisoner ‘Bonk’ starts normally reading the section on Asthma, I quickly notice he was developing a shortness of breathe which was gradually getting worse, he himself did not notice until he was finished reading. Result: He truly developed Asthma, Bonk could no longer run or jump, it appears to be permanent. Conclusion: Broadly, reading from SCP-1025 is dangerous but reading about Asthma will actually give you Asthma. OOC: Any advice is wanted and appreciated! I.E. how best to do these forum posts, in game advice, how best to progress as a researcher, common helpful advice. Thanks for reading!
  2. Lore Name: Liam Renolds Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: SCP-294 Question / Idea: Is it possible for SCP-294 to dispense parts of other SCPs. Background Research: Seeing as SCP-294 is able to dispense any liquid, would it be possible to dispense something like SCP-999 in a liquid form? Hypothesis: It would not be able to dispense any SCP. Observations (What Happened During Test): Subject was instructed to get one instance of "SCP-999 Liquid." Subject got said drink and promptly drank it. Immediately after drinking the cup, subject turned into a small duck then 5 seconds later disappeared. Test ended. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): More tests required, it is unknown why the subject had turned into a duck and disappeared. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: No, it is possible for 294 to dispense other SCPs.
  3. Basic Research Test: Lore Name: Tommy Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 1025 [Safe class] Question / Idea: It's my first time I do a test with SCP 1025 so I wanted to know what are the effects and consequences when a Subject begins to read each chapter of the Book. Background Research: I've searched unclassified files about SCP 1025 and saw that it has his peculiarities... Depending of the chapters you read, there are different symptoms (Good or bad I suppose.) that can be used either to harm the subject, kill or heal a specific disease. Hypothesis: So my Hypothesis is that somehow the chapters are connected with the symptoms the subject reads, meaning that it doesnt operate randomly. (sounds simple but I'll see after the test). Observations : I took 2 subjects with an officer , without any incidents, and told one to read one of the chapters. Subject 1 began to read one of the chapters about the Eyes degradation and blindness, and soon he began to lose sight, gradually, and started to panic. Officer took him to med bay and then I spoke to subject 2 to read one of the chapters, not the same. It seems as he began to read the chapter about paralysis he felt like his body was like Stone. Marvelous this SCP... 10 minutes after me and the officer took the subject 2 to med bay for amnestics and also analgesics, since he was feeling pain, oddly. About their status after reading SCP 1025, Subject 1 seems to recover sight progressively and subject 2 is still under medical attention. Analysis / Conclusion: So my conclusion is that this specimen, SCP 1025 does not apply any symptom randomly, meaning that we can select which symptom to add to the subject, if good for Foundation benefits, or bad for opponent companies. Was Your Hypothesis Correct? Yes, it seems correct.
  4. Lore Name: Junior Researcher hope Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 1025 Question/Idea: If SCP-1025 were able to affect two subject simultaneously with the same effect while reading it at the same time or can it only target one subject one at a time. Background Research: SCP-1025 is a book titled "The Encyclopedia of Common Diseases", approximately 1,500 pages long. Currently, no copies of the book has been located and no publishers has been found associated with SCP-1025, with no record of the publishers. SCP-1025 manifest when a subject reads about the diseases published in the book, where the reader would then exhibits the symptoms of a disease they read about. Testing has shown that the disease has manifested immediately after reading SCP-1025 and between ██ and ██. Hypothesis: If SCP-1025 were to be read by two subject at the same time. SCP-1025 should be giving the two subjects the same effects they are reading in the book. Observations: Two class-D personnel were placed side by side in front of SCP-1025. They were instructed to read SCP-1025 at the same time when Junior Researcher hope counted them down, Both subjects successfully read SCP-1025 at the same time. However, Subject #2 collapsed immediately on the floor and was deemed KIA on the spot. On the other hand, subject #1 were discovered and diagnosed with a lung cancer after reading SCP-1025. The experiment was deemed over and the surviving class-D personnel were then escorted by general security to medical bay. The experiment was deemed successful by Junior Researcher hope. Evidence: N/A Analysis/Conclusion: If SCP-1025 were to be read by two subject at the same time. SCP-1025 should be giving the two subjects the same effects they are reading in the book. However, the hypothesis was rejected as both class-d personnel exhibited different symptoms when class-D personnel were instructed to read SCP-1025 at the same time. One theory that could have caused the result of the experiment is that SCP-1025 can only target one person at the same time. SCP-1025 is not able give the subjects who read it the same symptoms. Hence, SCP-1025 gave the initial disease that the page was flipped to the first initial subject who was the one who opened it first. Then, it will give a random disease from its 1,500 catalog of diseases from SCP-1025 to the second subject. Hypothesis: The hypothesis was rejected.

  6. Lore Name: Junior Researcher hope Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 1025 Question/Idea: Was SCP-1025 able to manifest even if the reader does not read the contents of the book and was being around SCP-1025 able to cause mental confrontations just by being around the presence of SCP-1025. Background research: SCP-1025 is a book titled "The encyclopedia of Common Diseases" and was published by an unknown author in 19██; no other copies of SCP-1025 with that title and that of an affect has been found. Readers exhibits symptoms of a disease they read about. SCP-1025 contains 1,500 pages of common diseases all around the world. Hypothesis: If SCP-1025 was only able to affect one subject at the same time with the disease that the subject read. Then, by not reading the content of the disease, SCP-1025 should not be able to manifest because it has been proven in the past that SCP-1025 only triggered when the readers read the contents of a disease. Observation: Class-D personnel was brought into SCP-1025 containment chamber by MTF unit. Junior Researcher hope then instructed the class-D personnel to approach SCP-1025 and to also state any pain before and after starting the experiment. Subject reported an ominous feeling after aproaching SCP-1025. JR hope then instructed the subject to not read the contents of the page and quickly open it and closing it. The class-D personnel complied and to JR hope surprise, subject immediately combusted. It was noted that the reader does not need to read the contents of SCP-1025 for it to manifests, it seems that just by touching the book, the reader of SCP-1025 is immediately harmed (mentally or physically). The experiment was then deemed over by JR hope and was called for janitorial service. Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): If SCP-1025 was only able to affect one subject at the same time with the disease that the subject read. Then, by not reading the content of the disease, SCP-1025 should not be able to manifest because it has been proven in the past that SCP-1025 only triggered when the readers read the contents of a disease. However, the hypothesis was rejected since the subject was deemed KIA on the spot even though he did not read the contents of SCP-1025. Some analysis made was that SCP-1025 was capable of manifesting even if the subject touches the book. JR hope also noted that SCP-1025 has released an ominous feeling just by approaching the book (reported by class-D personnel). Due to the uncertainty of its ability, further testing might be required to determine the true ability of SCP-1025. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: The hypothesis was rejected

  8. Lore Name Thor Odinson Rank Junior Researcher SCP 1048 Question / Idea How will SCP-1048 respond to being put in various outfits? Background Research SCP-1048 is a sentient being, who has the appearance of stuffed rabbit. In terms of clothing, SCP-1048 has always been observed to just wear a black bow tie. This is logical because all rabbits wear bow ties. However, aside from the singular bow tie, SCP-1048 is basically naked. Hypothesis SCP-1048 will be grateful to receive such fine attire? Preparation SCP-1048 had been given 3 outfits each labelled from A to C. -Outfit A is a Doctor's Uniform, dressed with mint colored gloves, aprons, and head wear. -Outfit B is a Policeman's Uniform, equipped with its very own miniature handcuffs, baton, and toy pistol. -Outfit C is a frilly pink dress, with a small, shiny tiara. Observation After much struggle, from onsite Security, Outfit A had been successfully dawned onto SCP-1048. After a few seconds of processing the outfit, SCP-1048 began to crawl towards Thor Odinson, and pressed its tiny stethoscope against his muscular leg. SCP-1048 then listened carefully, while maneuvering the stethoscope, as if it were listening for a heart beat. A short while later, SCP-1048 began to gesture as if it had gasped in surprise, and began staring at people in the room, as if it were shocked to discover the lack of a heart. After getting use to the procedure, Outfit B had been worn on SCP-1048, with relative ease. After a short moment to ponder its new uniform, SCP-1048 began too charge at the nearest Class-D personnel, at top speeds (Which of course, being a stuffed rabbit, was not very fast). SCP-1048 then planted in front of the nearest Class-D, who was restrained on a wall by nearby security, and began to gesture its hand forward, as if it were ordering it to halt. SCP-1048 then proceeded to attempt and climb the Class-D's legs, in an attempt to further restrain it, with its miniature cuffs. After a short struggle, and almost falling, SCP-1048 had succeed by tying the Class-D's 2 index fingers together. Unlike Outfit B, SCP-1048 showed much hesitation towards being dressed with Outfit C. Due to SCP-1048's persistent struggle, a second security officer had to be introduced, in an effort to dress SCP-1048. After a 10 minute struggle, Outfit C had been successfully put on SCP-1048. However due to SCP-1048's hesitation against the outfit, it proceeded to sit in place with its arms crossed, as if it were refusing to "play along". Conclusion SCP-1048 has been observed to show excitement towards being dressed in clothing, and will often role play as the outfit's respective occupation. However, as seen in Outfit C, SCP-1048 has shown an immense aversion against outfits that may be considered "girly", and will refuse to continue said role play, if it is ever dawned in such garbs.
  9. Name: JR Plant Rank: Junior Researcher Clearance Level: 2 List of Personnel involved in testing: JR Plant, MTF [REDACTED] Amount of D class involved: 0 SCP: SCP-999 Question: What is SCP-999's favorite flavor of ice-cream? Background Research: SCP-999's diet consists of candy, so it should be familiar with the provided ice-cream flavors. Hypothesis: SCP-999's favorite flavor ice-cream is mint chocolate-chip. Observation: When chocolate, vanilla, mint chocolate-chip, neapolitan, and strawberry ice-cream were presented to SCP-999 and it was instructed to choose it's favorite, SCP-999 sampled each of the flavors. SCP-999 proceeded to engulf the chocolate ice-cream in it's entirety, indicating that it was SCP-999's favorite flavor. Conclusion: SCP-999's favorite flavor of ice-cream is chocolate. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: No.

  14. Lore:Testing of the Anomalous sword,ThePatriot Rank:Junior Researcher Clearance level:1 List of Personnel:Junior Researcher Patriot (me),Security SO Egg D-class:JohnQ SCP:173 Hypothesis:If SCP 173 is struck with the sword repeatedly with an Anomalous sword the SCP would be killed. Observation:I started the test to see how Class-D and SCP-173 would interact, if the Class-D was given an anomalous sword and the results were rather odd the SCP did not react at all to the D-class even when the D-class blinked or looked away the D-class continuously slashed at the SCP until eventually the SCP 173 tumbled over and so the D-class was told to exit the chamber and escorted back to D-block, for a while SCP remained tumbled over without any sign of movement for a while but one day the SCP was back on its feet and the slashes from the sword mysteriously vanished from the body of the scp, no other effects were noticed. Errors:Although SCP 173 remained inside its chambers, the D-class was rather rebellious and often tried to escape but we decided to just pull through with the test, this was a bit of a mistake because as soon we opened the gates and saw the tumbled over SCP 173 the D-class lounged at us with the Sword but was sedated by an SO, there were no fatalities however the SO was injured in the process and sent to the medical bay Conclusion:The Anomalous sword was proven to be a rather dangerous weapon and will be contained in an [REDACTED] over at Site [REDACTED], as for my hypothesis, I was wrong the SCP was not killed but it has shown a lot of effectiveness in damaging SCP 173.
