  1. +/- support - App is okay - ULX rank!
  2. - Support - Take some more time on the server; app should be a little more clear and in-depth
  3. +/- Support - I love the Idea, I just don't know how feasible it actually would be - If its reliant on SF doing the bombings, might be an issue to do it being reliant on SF being online - It could give naval more to do, as they can provide better support if the bombings come from the ISD, instead of TIE Bombers - Seems like a great thing for a game like ARMA, but I'm not sure if GMod has the capabilities to smoothly implement something like that.
  4. + Support - App is to the point, and well written - Experience speaks; seems to be a great candidate.
  5. What is your in-game name?: Easton What is your steam name?: Eastonsz What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:72421312 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: Yes. I was Senior Staff for another SWRP community called Undead, and was Senior Staff for a DarkRP community called Sideways Gaming Network. What date did you start playing on the community? 9/18/23 What date did you make your forums account? 9/18/23 Current rank on server (This is a ULX rank ONLY! Not a RP Rank)? User How many warns do you have on the server? Zero Have you donated? Not yet What rank are you applying for? Trial Moderator Have you read the staff guidelines at You will be tested on it: Yes Timezone: PST Permission (Admin+ need this): N/A Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (Can be any length): I believe I deserve the rank of Trial Moderator, due to my dedication to the server and pervious experience with staffing. During my time on the sever I have done my best in involving myself heavily into RP, and becoming an active member of the community since I have joined. Becoming a Trial Moderator will allow me to expand my commitment and understanding of the Gaminglight community, which is a position I am very keen to be in. Having been staff before, directly with similar SWRP communities, I already have a strong understanding of the game and general community. This allows me to fit very comfortable into the Trial Moderator position, and will allow me to greatly assist the community outside of solely RP aspects. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: I would confirm the infraction by checking logs first, and make sure I have a detailed account of everything that happened. I would then attempt to calm them down to try and have a proper conversation, and try to make them understand why their actions have consequences. Regardless of this, they will be given 2 formal warnings (one for staff disrespect, one for mass RDM) alongside a five day ban. Throughout the process, I will make sure everything is clear and concise for the person being punished. If this happens while I am still a Trial Moderator, I will request the help of an Admin+ due to my restrictions on punishing.
  6. What is your in game rank and name? SO CPO - Easton What is your STEAM ID? STEAM_0:1:72421312 Names of both Lieutenant Commander+ (MAJ+) that gave you permission to apply? Sam, Hopfner How long have you been in Naval? 9/18/23 Why do you wish to become a Senior Officer? I want to become a senior officer so I can further assist and advance the ISD, in a position that puts me in a better place to do so. Through being an NCO, and being more exposed to leadership and management responsibilities, it has heightened my passion to continue to lead Naval and the rest of the Army. Being a Senior Officer will allow me to assist and train Junior Officers to make sure they are well-versed with Naval practices, and are properly guiding the Enlisted troops. I feel through my experience and knowledge I am able to bring to the table new ideas, perspectives, and practices, allowing the ISD to continue to thrive. What are the duties of a Senior Officer? The duties follow that of Enlisted, NCO, and the additional responsibilities that come with being a Senior Officer. Being placed in this position doesn’t remove you from duties followed by those ranked below you. A Senior Officer is still required to do things like supply runs, and even hop into the pits on bridge when necessary. Of course these are not their primary duties, but these tasks cannot be forgotten. A senior officer is expected to lead and engage the naval community, making sure things are operating as they should. They are tasked with training junior officers, and continue to act as a role model for enlisted. Senior officers enforce and display the discipline it takes to allow naval to maintain its status of being a serious and elite regiment. They are able to take command of Navy and ISD, and take charge of the bridge/ship at moments notice. How will you assist the battalion as a Senior Officer? I will assist the battalion as a Senior Officer by displaying and enforcing proper naval practices/policies, and ensuring a positive environment on/off the ship. Although Naval is a serious regiment, there is a need for balance to keep the morale of the regiment high, and I plan to oversee this. Enforcing, and completing quotas is something I see as highly important and necessary. Making sure training, tryouts, and simulations are constantly being conducted, greatly assists making sure Naval are active and engaged throughout the week. Through being a Security Officer, I will be a stronger advocate for the subdivisions that naval has to offer. These divisions were implemented for a reason, and they are what help the regiment be portrayed as desirable, strong, and versatile. What qualifies you to be a Senior Officer? My experience is one of the reasons I am qualified for this position. Having past command experience, I know what it takes to keep a regiment moving forward and engaged. On the ISD Consilio I have embedded myself deeply into naval, always being a leader and ensuring things are operating as they should. I have taken on the additional responsibility in becoming a Security Officer; this speaks for my skills, dedication, and involvement with the regiment. I have spent much time working closely with past/present Senior Officers, and I have grasped and demonstrated what it takes to become a Senior Officer on and off the ship. Thank you for reading, and for your consideration.
  7. + Support - Super active - Dedicated Naval; cares about his job and the progression of Naval - Would be good to have DOS in a VA position, to get SO's in a better place - App is good, and his experience and previous actions speak for itself, but could have been slightly more detailed
  8. What is your in game rank and name: Crewman - Easton What is your STEAM ID?: STEAM_0:1:72421312 How long have you been in Naval: 9/18/23 Why do you wish to become a Junior Officer? Becoming Junior Officer is a necessary next-step for myself, and there are three components to it. The first being leadership. I want to be able to lead crewman and other enlisted, and teach them proper actions and practices whilst on-ship. The second is personal experience and advancement. Having good knowledge currently about Naval and its operation, becoming a Junior officer is where my experience and learning will thrive. Being a NCO exposes me to new opportunities and experiences, that will greatly enhance my skills and abilities with the navy. The final component is assistance to my superiors. Being an NCO puts me in a much better position to assist my direct command chain, as well as the rest of the ship, with the heightened role and responsibilities that come along with being a Junior Officer. What are the duties of a Junior Officer? Junior officers are expected to have a strong understanding of the Imperial Navy. One of their larger duties is to demonstrate and lead crewman through the necessary on-ship operations and practices. They are held to a high standard of teaching enlisted and assisting their superiors; often hosting tryouts and managing enlisted. How will you assist the battalion as a Junior Officer? I bring to the table many years of leadership and command experience. I have seen what works and what doesn't, how communities fluctuate, and the drive/commitment needed to keep a community of this size engaged. Having a strong understanding of this is how I will be of assistance as Junior Officer, alongside the listed duties/responsibilities. I understand that being an NCO isn't just about leadership. Its about continuing to practice what I teach, continuing knowing how to take orders, and continuing to being open to feedback and ideas from anyone at any rank on the ship. Anyone can read the Handbook and know how our Naval operates. It's the understanding of the roles and responsibilities you can't find on any document or handbook, is what makes an officer thrive. That's what I bring to the table, and how I plan to assist the battalion as a Junior Officer.
