  1. Big -SUPPORT It is VERY clear what your intention was with the "joke" you made. Here's what I think happened, you made an extremely off-color and racist joke and expected people to laugh, and now it's a culture shock to realize that people aren't the biggest fan of open racism like what you portrayed. You screwed up, made a very clearly racist joke, and now you don't want to serve your punishment. Accept what you did, whether you think you deserve the punishment what you did was openly racist and justice was served.
  2. MASSIVE +SUPPORT! I've been working closely with TN9 since he joined DT, and from the enlisted ranks I saw great potential in him. He is a natural leader, a loyal friend, and a prominent member in the brotherhood of Death Troopers. I would love for him to make officer, and see him advance even further within the ranks of DT. Best of luck!
  3. Massive +Support Trace is known by many as the IC MAJ Reaper, but to me I will always remember him as my superior in shock when I first started this server. Trace was immediately accepting of me, despite me not even knowing general locations around the ship. He became my friend and showed me the do's and the do not's of shock, as well of the server in general, basically being my first introduction to the server. He has always been friendly and caring while maintaining an amazing sense of humor and knowing when to be serious. I have had the privilege of calling Trace my friend since the beginning of my time on GL, and he has been an amazing ally to have. I have no doubt that Trace will excel in any field he engulfs himself in, and I know he will make a phenomenal IC Vice Commander.
  4. 1. Q| What is your IGN? (In Game Name) : A| My in-game name is V07 or Dark. 2. Q| What Regiment are you applying for? : A| I am applying for Death Trooper Vice Commander. 3. Q| Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? A| Since the day I joined DT I fell in love with it. Everything about it is alluring to me, from the people inside of it to the ominous badassery that is a Death Trooper. Starting out in DT, I had no idea what I was doing. I was a minge who somehow made it inside of a battalion that many consider the most difficult to get in, and I strangely found myself wanting to take part instead of minging like my original plan. The people inside of DT taught me the map, and the basics of GL as well as Imperial RP in general. I climbed through the ranks, trying out other battalions along the way to see if I truly would enjoy DT the most or if it was just a temporary match for me. After trying out and being a part of Shock, 501st, Nova, RG, IQ, Purge, Medical, and IF (back when it was a battalion) I decided that, while other battalions were enjoyable, I always found myself thinking about DT. The Death Trooper regiment is what I dedicated myself to, and I knew I wanted to move up through the ranks and one day make a difference. Well, now I do have the chance to make a significant difference within DT. I have put everything I have into the DT regiment and the people in it, it's like a family to me. At the point I am currently at in DT, I see becoming a Vice Commander as the next step within DT, and I am just so thankful that from day one I decided to put all my time into this regiment. 4. Q| How much game time do you have on the server? A| Since joining I have accumulated 915 hours of play time on GL Imperial RP. Very little of this is AFK hours, and since I joined DT the same day I joined the server, nearly all of this has been spent strictly on the Death Trooper job(s). 5. Q| What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? A| As a commander, or any command member, you are the embodiment of what it means to be an icon for your regiment. You have exceeded all expectations, continued to grow as a person and as a member, and have proved yourself willing to put in immense effort into the battalion you wish to represent. Becoming a command member means you must be professional enough to be seen as such, but kind and compassionate enough for people to be willing to come forward to you with any issues they may have. You should be a beacon for the regiment, an idol for others in the regiment to look up to, but not fear. The "main purpose" of a commander is not just one purpose, a commander serves many purposes in the battalion he or she is a representative of. A commander needs to be knowledgeable about all aspects of their battalion, both regarding rules but also affairs within. They need to be a friendly face that people are willing to come to in order to solve issues within the regiment. Commanders are responsible for everything that goes on inside of their battalion, and they are the first person that is looked at when an internal issue arises. The command role is a role with a significant amount of power attached to it, and as such this role should only be filled by people who can differentiate between the times to have fun with your regiment and the times where you have to be the bad guy. Commanders should be the ultimate guide for their battalion, teaching those under them how to become effective leaders and members. 6. Q| Why should we trust you to be a commander? : A| I should be trusted with this position because I have poured absolutely everything I have into this specific regiment. To get to a position to become eligible to apply for Vice Commander in any battalion is a feat that is difficult to achieve, and even more so in Death Troopers. The promotions in DT come slow, and every single one, even within enlisted ranks, are thought about carefully and considered before being acted upon. To become even an NCO within DT can take weeks, which is why when you are promoted in DT it is so incredibly rewarding, regardless of the position you are in. When I got NCO a whole new world opened up for me, and every week I did my absolute best to go above and beyond for quota. I steadily went up the ranks, one by one. When I was a 1SG I made an officer application along with 4 other applicants. Among the 5 total that did apply, only two were accepted. Mine was not included within those accepted. By the time the application was denied I had made it up to CSM, and I'll admit, at first I was discouraged with the outcome. I was proud of my colleagues for getting to the rank of WO, but I wanted to join them more than anything. I quickly realized, however, that I didn't need to be disappointed in the result. Obviously, I just needed to prove myself to be dedicated enough to deserve that position, so I did what any logical person would do in my situation. I asked around and found out what the record was for the most tryouts done in a week, then proceeded to shatter it. The previous record held was in the low 50's, something like 52 or 53, so I decided to make the record something that could be remembered. That week, I hosted 69 tryouts, and was promoted to WO at the following meeting. As an officer I thrived, climbing through the ranks seemingly as fast as I was able to, to where I am today. I am now a command officer in the Death Trooper regiment, and most recently I have become a regulations officer. I have been through both of our highly redacted sub regiments, as Seeker Company SGT SN04 as well as my current position, TI-23 Marksman V07. I have worked effortlessly to improve the Death Trooper battalion, reporting to command on all my thoughts and observations on ways to improve upon aspects of DT, bringing to light those who are excelling in DT to make sure they are noticed, and providing myself as someone that anyone, regardless of rank inside of DT may go to for reasons both in DT, or out. As previously mentioned, DT is my family, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I try my best to separate my actual life from my in game life, but there are individuals in DT I have the pleasure and honor of calling my friends. I genuinely care about everyone in the regiment on a personal level, which is why from day one I've told everyone that my DMs are always open, whether needed for an issue I can resolve in DT or if you just need a friend to talk to for any reason. The reason I can be trusted with this position is because I would never do anything that isn't to the direct benefit of everyone in the battalion, they're my brothers and I only ever want what's best for them. 7. Q| How often can you be Online? : A| I am online every day that I’m not at work, for a minimum of 6 hours. I work on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays for the majority of the days, but even then I try to put in time and effort on the server on those days. It is worth mentioning that my schedule is extremely shaky, and there will be times I vanish during my usual hours because I am always on call for my job. 8. Q| Do you have any Warnings? (What for?) : A| I have 1 warning on Imperial RP for Mass FailRP from April 8th, and I am not shy about talking about it so if anyone asks I’ll be more than happy to take you down memory lane. My DMs are open on discord, anyone can PM me at any time. I can be found in the GL Imperial RP Discord server if you simply search up V07. Thank you for reading my application and considering me for this position. It is an honor to even be able to apply.
  5. BIG +SUPPORT... and here's why. Snubster walks the line between having fun and being a professional and serious member of 501st beautifully. He knows the right times to have fun, and knows when it is time to be serious. He has been known as the voice of 501st for his exuberant and outgoing nature, being kind and respectful to everyone he comes across. Every encounter I have had with Snubster has been a positive one, in which I leave feeling happier than when I first encounter him. He is exactly the kind of person that fits in a Vice Commander position, and the voice of the 501st deserves a spot as the face of 501st.
  6. BIG -SUPPORT and here's why: Hanjo is known around the ship as being laid back and chill, but in my opinion it has been taken too far. A 501st Vice Commander, or any Vice Commander, should know when to be serious and when to have fun. From what I have seen of Hanjo, he spends more time minging on his CC than actually making 501st a more productive and better battalion. Every encounter I have had with him has been disrespectful, abrupt, abrasive, and left myself as well as well as many others with a sour impression. A Command member must set an example for the rest of the battalion, and is meant to represent the entire regiment in a positive way. From where I'm sitting, Hanjo has done more harm than good in terms of setting examples to be followed. For 501st's battle against minging, instating Hanjo as a Vice Commander is a step in the wrong direction.
  7. Hello S08, while I would love to give this application my support, at this time I will unfortunately have to give a -Support and here's why. This application is at the bare minimum in terms of word count, and while it is within parameters, I would like to see more. The substance to the application seems to be more of an NCO application, providing reasons for remaining in the NCO core. The grammar in this application is poor and the application as a whole seems rushed. I would recommend reading your application to yourself outload, it does wonders for correcting grammar. You are an excellent NCO and I hope to see you make an amazing officer one day. Keep up the amazing work, and please do not let any -Supports discourage you from DT as a whole, you're still a valuable asset to the NCO core. Good luck!
  8. (HESITANT) + SUPPORT Your application is very well written, and you have been valuable to the NCO core, but I do not feel completely comfortable giving you my 100% full support simply because I feel I do not know you very well. You're around on DT often, and I know you are fairly active, but you remain very quiet and reserved. While this can be a good trait to have, it is very difficult to get a reading on your personality. Going off the work you have done in the NCO core, your activity, and the well written application, I give you my +support. Best of luck to you moving forward. -DT V07 (TI-23 Unit Marksman), previous SN04
  9. -Support You're a good guy, but I want to see you grow more as an enlisted before taking the position of NCO. While I appreciate the effort it takes to write the application, it seems quickly written and kept to the minimum. I have no doubt you'll be ready to be an NCO in the near future, but from my eyes that time is not now. Keep growing inside of DT, do your best and everything else will fall into place as it needs to. Best of luck going forward, DT V07 (TI-23 Unit Marksman), previous SN04
  10. +BIG SUPPORT Since I joined AX5 has been a role model not only for myself but for everyone she encounters. Her positive demeanor and outlook on everyone, as well as life itself is a refreshing sight. AX5 finds the positive in every situation, and spreads that positivity to DT. From the time I was a private up until now she has been supportive, and someone who can be relied on regardless of circumstance. A big part of TI-23 is being close as a unit, and connecting with your squad. You can be the best PvP player in the game and if you don't work well with the squad, TI-23 will be inefficient. AX5 would fit in perfectly in the squad, and I wish her the best of luck on her application. -DT V07 (TI-23 Unit Marksman), previous SN04
  11. MASSIVE +SUPPORT Name has been one of the most friendly people I have ever met on Gaminglight Imperial RP. He knows how to have fun and be easy going, yet is a strong leader who is serious when needed. He comes off as very quiet and reserved, but once you get to know him he has an amazing sense of humor and is extremely likeable. Name as Darth Vader has been something that I personally have wanted to see for months. There is no better choice for the position of Darth Vader than The Grand Inquisitor himself, because I know he will be the best damn Vader this server has had. -DT V07 (TI-23 Unit Marksman), Previous SN04 (Seeker Company Sergeant)
  12. +MASSIVE SUPPORT Whether this specific buff is implemented or something else, SOMETHING needs to happen. The removal of the bacta injector was the worst thing that could've possibly been done to "nerf" CCs. It took the fighting chance that we did have against them and turned it into dirt. The removal of the bacta injector has made the entire medical battalion all but obsolete, as I would rather killbind than sit through over 2 minutes of being healed. I have seen MULTIPLE people share this sentiment, and simply place down tacs to killbind with a medical right next to them when they are low. Healing has become a joke. The bacta injector was never a problem, but since it has been made abundantly clear the bacta injector is not coming back, this new medkit needs a massive buff if I, and many other people, are to even consider seeking medical aid on the battlefield any longer. Second to None - DT V07 (TI-23 Unit Marksman, Former SN04)
  13. Absolute MASSIVE +SUPPORT bacta injectors we’re never an issue and I want to see them brought back.
  14. [In-Game Name] DT SN04 [Callsign] BR0 [Rank] Second Lieutenant [Why do you believe you deserve this position] I believe I deserve this position because in all honesty, when I first joined DT I knew I wanted to be a marksman of some sort. I didn’t really understand the ranking system or the sub battalions, but once I learned of V07 I was hooked. Unfortunately, the position was filled so I took an alternative route that satisfied my inner sniper-Seeker Company. Having the capability to perform excellently in long distance engagements is extremely appealing to me, so seeker was a natural fit. V07, though, is the embodiment of what it is to be a marksman. As V07, I must give accurate and concise callouts in order to protect the life of my VIP, as well as the lives of my fellow Deathtroopers. V07 is meant to be a precision killing machine, calculated with every move made, every callout in comms meaning life or death. I work well under pressure, and in the midst of the chaos I have the ability to keep my cool and still give accurate callouts when required without hotmiking or yelling. TI-23 must be equipped to handle every scenario, V07 is no different. I specialize in long distance engagements, however, I am no stranger to close quarters fights as well. The position of V07 deserves to go to someone who can put time and love into it, and represent not only TI-23 but DT as a whole in a positive way. I am able to give the slot the attention it deserves, having done 69 DT tryouts in a week I am more than willing to put all my effort into not only DT, but also the unit and V07. I am quick to adapt, after being put into the position of a seeker sergeant and officer almost simultaneously, I needed to quickly transition from standard tryouts to sims, trainings, and seeker selections. I had never done a sim, but I quickly learned the ropes of what it meant to be in the position I was suddenly in. This adaptability is vital for a marksman unit, as when you have an eagle eye view over the battlefield and are responsible for your unit knowing exactly what threat is incoming, it becomes a very dynamic scenario. Overall, I couldn’t see myself becoming any other positions within TI-23. Other positions have come and gone, but I just couldn’t see myself in the positions that were described for the given job. I knew other people would fit the job better, and quite frankly I didn’t want to fill a role that I wasn’t absolutely certain I wanted. This, however, I know I would excel in. [Why do you want to be a part of Unit TI-23] Unit TI-23, to me, is the closest and tight-knit squad of Deathtroopers. While still maintaining close contact with all other DT, members of the unit are like brothers, and team chemistry is incredibly important. An elite unit means nothing if there isn’t trust, unit cohesion, and comradery. I thrive in environments such as the aforementioned, smaller groups of people whom I get to know extremely well and genuinely care for. This isn’t to say other members of DT aren’t my brothers in arms as well, because in DT we are all one unit, but being able to have that family within TI-23 is incredibly appealing to me. I have always preferred smaller squads, both in real life and in game. The team oriented battling as well as the concept of moving as a unit is right up my alley. I guess the short answer for why I want to be part of TI-23 is simple, I want to have the chance to really understand and appreciate each member for who they are, while in a battalion-wide setting it’s much harder to get one on one time with everyone. The tight knit community that is TI-23 is appealing to me in every aspect, from the people who currently hold the positions being some of my closest friends, to the honor of being able to call myself a member of the unit, I love every bit of TI-23, but I refuse to take up a slot that I am not absolutely crazy about. V07 is THE slot in TI-23 for me. It is who I am, a marksman by heart, the kind of person to use a sniper occasionally in close quarters combat just because I prefer it. I want to be the marksman of the Deathtrooper battalion, the unit responsible for advanced reconnaissance and precision kills. V07 fills the craving I have for the position of a marksman, and I fell in love with it the second I came across its existence. [What does Unit TI-23 do] Unit TI-23 is a group of 5 classified Deathtrooper lore characters each specializing in their own unique set of skills and loadout. The 5 are as follows, F16, L21, C37, M36, and V07. F16 is the leader of the squad, as every elite squad needs its very own elite leader. F16 focuses on leading and commanding the unit in battle. F16 has the capabilities of each member of the unit, essentially merging all of TI-23 into one leader. L21 is the demolitions specialist, which is basically the regimental engineer and heavy weapons unit of the battalion. C37 is the CQC specialist, thriving in close range combat dominating foes who come too close to him, his VIP, or his unit. M36 is the medic, responsible for the health and wellness of the VIP under the protection of DT. More so, M36 plays a vital role in keeping the rest of the unit alive, while still being versatile on the battlefield. Finally, V07 is the marksman of the group. V07 is tasked with reconnaissance as well as elite marksmanship in order to eliminate any threat that may pose a threat to any DT related affairs before it ever becomes a problem. V07 gives concise comms to the rest of the group in order to paint a picture in the mind of the squad of precisely what is up ahead of them, so the group can prepare a plan of attack before the enemy forces ever have a chance to reach them. [How active can you be] I am extremely active, despite having a full time job. My schedule is a bit strange, being very busy on weekends whilst not nearly as busy during the actual week. You will see me for much smaller intervals of time on the weekends, but during the weeks I am on a minimum of 5+ hours a day, every day. I am mostly a late night player, however I still catch the usual events in the late afternoon and evening. [Do you understand that if you are accepted into Unit TI-23, you will be on a 1-strike system] Loud and clear, TI-23 are meant to be the most elite out of the elite battalion, so it only makes sense that we are held up to standards. -Proud member of the best battalion, SN04.
  15. Dark | SN04 Mayhem - False warn report 1. N/A 2. Your in-game name: darkstarson12 | Dark | SN04 3. My Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:604406837 4. The admin's name: Mayhem | Walker 5. The admin's Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:52742115 6. What warning did you receive: KTAP 7. Evidence of the warn: Attached 8. Why do you think the warn was false: Misunderstanding, after explaining the situation the admin totally understands. Basically what happened is I was getting chased by shock and bunny hopped through pits, hit a corner weird, and got thrown into pits. Walker thought I just jumped in on purpose right off the bat because I was on ST job and looked like a minge. After talking to him for awhile, he knows I had no malicious intent with what happened and didn't try to KTAP in any way. 9. Any extra information: The admin wants the warn removed as well.
  16. In-Game Name: Dark SteamID: STEAM_0:0:604406837 Rank: 1SG How long have you been your current rank?: About an hour. What experiences in leadership do you have?: I have experiences in leadership both in game and out of game. In game I have taught easily a dozen or so ST's how to do formations and faces, because the explanation at ST spawn can be confusing at times. I was in shock for a while, and made my way up to EJTAL before resigning for personal reasons, one of which was that I wanted to focus more on DT since I was promoted to an NCO and wanted to represent the battalion in a positive way. Outside of RP, I am a veterinary surgeon in charge of roughly 35 wonderful people whom I work with on a daily basis, each of which are paramount to the success of myself and the clinic. Why do you want to be an officer?: I want to be an officer because I care about DT and the people in it. While I am still fairly new to the battalion compared to a lot of other people, I want to make a difference. I have been working relentlessly to make DT an overall friendly environment for the people in it while still maintaining the serious nature of the battalion I’ve grown to love. I feel that as an NCO I can only do so much for the battalion, and while I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given, I want to become even more involved with DT because I truly do care about all the people in it. This would be my first officer position if I were to be accepted, which would be a huge accomplishment for me but the reason I want to become an officer isn’t for an accomplishment. I want to become an officer because, to sum it all up, I want to do more for DT and give back to the people that I care about. DT to me is more than just a roleplay battalion, and yeah that may sound strange to some people because it is simply a game. However, the people that are in it aren’t just parts of the game. They are living individuals with stories and hearts of their own that I am proud to call friends. I haven’t gotten the chance to know many of you, but I am always open to meeting new people. I would like to be up front, I will never be able to attend the weekly meetings, so if that’s a deal breaker then I understand. Every Saturday and Sunday, as well as Tuesday and Thursday are the days I will be in surgery. If anyone wants my exact schedule to know what times I’m available, or just needs a friend to talk to for any reason my DMs are always open. What makes you stand out amongst the others?: There are many qualified people much more experienced than I that are going to be applying for the same position that I am, but what makes me stand out from them is the time I put into DT. Since getting NCO, I have always at least gotten double or triple the amount necessary for quota every week even through my busy schedule and real life obligations. I still manage to put quite a bit of time into the server, minimally 3 hours every day (except for rare exceptions such as when I get caught up in an emergency surgery). Most of the time I put into the server is later in the evening or the dead of night, which is actually where I’ve found that I get the most trainees for tryouts. I get to meet a lot of Australian or British people who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to get a shot at DT due to lack of tryouts at night. I want to emphasize that I do not just fill my quota with dead hour tryouts where no one will attend just to try to get quick and easy numbers, but rather try to do as many tryouts as I can with 70+ people online. I recently got off from a 2 week LOA due to something happening that took a severe toll on my mental health in my personal life. I originally put in for a month, but decided I needed to come back to be with my friends in DT so I wouldn’t have to go through it alone. I came back half way through the week, and worked as hard as I could to make up the time lost. I came back half way through the week, and by Friday I was on top of the numbers for tryouts hosted, as well as joined a sub battalion. I will continue proving my loyalty to DT and keep providing a positive environment for all members to grow. Do you understand that if you fail to meet the expectations of an officer you can be removed from your position?: Completely understood, officers are meant to set an example for people to look up to and if they are incapable of setting a good one then there’s no reason they should be in the position they’re in. Do you understand that receiving a strike will result in an immediate demotion?: Completely understood loud and clear.
