    What is your staff rank in Gaminglight? Mod 

     

    How often are you on TeamSpeak? I go on TS everytime I play GL, so about several hours a day 

     

    How often do you use discord? I check discord though out the day regularly

     

    Why would you want to join our Support team (Word Count 150+)?

    I want to join the Gaminglight support time because I feel like I could make a good impact on the team with my ability to lead if needed, and my ability to be mature, but can joke around too.

    my second reason why I should be a part of the support team is that I'm an active person on discord and Teamspeak as I use them daily.

    My third reason why I should be a part of the Support team is that I could deal will support tickets late at night when most of the team could be sleeping as I'm in PST, so if a ticket pops up at 12 am it would only be 9 pm for me.

    My last reason for wanting to join the Support team is that I make myself a reliable member of a team I try to help everyone that I can, and I try to make myself happy and approachable. 

     

    How do you think you could affect support staff in a positive way? 

    I can affect the support staff by being someone that new members could look up too, and by being someone that the team can rely on getting work down 

     

    How would you greet someone that has a problem in one of our tickets, or support channels?

    Flight Lieutenant

     

    How many strikes do you have? And if you do why?

    I have 0 strikes in the department 


     

    Why should we trust you with an Officer rank? (120 words)
    I should be trusted with the rank of Flight Lieutenant as I have experience in being in a place with that sort of power. On GL Police RP I've made my way to PD CPT, and DOC AWC(Assistant warden of Corrections rank below High command).  The second reason why  I should be trusted with an officer rank is that I'm a friendly person, and I try to keep a personality that will make someone not scared to talk to an Officer about a problem they are having with another Pilot or themselves. The last reason why I should be a rank of an officer is that I'm mature, so I know when I can joke around, and when I need to pay attention or take control of a situation 



     

    What can you do to assist the command with this rank? (60 words)


    I can assist the Command team by lightening up a bit of the weight they carry for the Battalion and making sure everything is kept up to date. I can also help the Command team by being active late at night when most of the command are sleeping due to me being in PST. I can also help the Command team by providing training to people who need them, so they don't have to wait years just to do one simple training.
     

    What is the point of being an officer? (50 words)
     

    The point of being an Officer is to make sure the Battalion is stable and doesn't fall apart. They also work to keep enlisted in line as well as NCOs and make sure that they are doing their Tryouts and Sims for the week. They also are to carry out punishments for those who need them, and they are to give a big welcoming smile to people who are thinking about joining the Battalion 

     

    What would happen if you see a fellow officer messing around and then commanding NCOs to mess around with him? (75 words)

    I will try to intervene and make sure the NCO doesn't mess up their reputation because of a rouge Officer. If they do not quit their act then I will go to their higher up and tell them about the problems that are happening with that officer, and that something needs to be done. I will then give proof of the situation to the higher-up. I will then go back to my normal duties unless I must provide more information on the Situation. 

     

    Do you agree that if you are striked within the first week you will be put back down to the NCO rank?

    As many know I’ve transferred from PoliceRP to Imperial. Staff wise, and that means as the door closes the new one opens up, and I’m sorry to say, but this is the door closing forever( forever is ending) no coming back no return(maybe) only a closed door. 

     

    I thought maybe I could balance both servers, but that was an option I couldn’t do, so here we are at the slowly closing door. 

     

    I don’t have much to say as I’ve only been back for so little time since my last leave, but my time on PoliceRP will not be missed as without it I wouldn’t be here today doing what I do, so thank you all.

    As some may know I’ve transferred to imperial in my staffing career.  This in turn makes being in all these sub department more weight on my shoulders, so with carful consulting.

    This is where I lie, and I hope your okay with it.

    I can improve the branch by being able to bring a new light and new knowledge to provide better medical attention. I can also help improve the branch by giving a supervisory role if needed. Lastly I can bring a helpful attitude so people aren’t afraid to come over and ask for help. 

     

    Why should you be trusted with this position?: 

     

    I should be trusted for this rank as i've been in the medical corp since the 18th of April, and I know my way around medbay. Next I do my best to stay serious during rp,so I can be professionally most of the time. 

     

    Why do you want this rank?:

     

    I want this rank because I want to experience more of the navy, and I want to do good for the battalion as a whole. I also want to be a medical officer because I also like being a medic.     What is your staff rank and the server you work in?

    I’m Mod and I work on PoliceRP, but I have made it to the rank of admin before resigning in December 

     

    I have gotten the permission from drippy 

    How often are you online on the forums?

     I'm active on the forums. I try to check it at least once a day and see what is going on.

     

    Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat?

    I believe that I would be a great Forum Diplomat because I have possible skills that will work in situations. Some of those skills are being able to be non-bias when handling reports and being able to provide sound judgment to reports. Along with being able to be on the forums at late hours of the night into the early morning, and also during the day. 

     

    Would you consider yourself to have good judgment? If so, please describe a situation that required you to make a difficult decision?

    Yes, I would consider myself with good judgment. A situation that required good judgment was when I was a command member, and I had to make a decision with the only evidence I had.

     

    How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to getting banned from one of our servers?

    I would hide their posts and put them on content moderation. If needed I would contact the head Diplomat to request a warn to the user. 

     

    How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warning appeal?

    I would give them a verbal warning that the post will be closed if they don’t keep it to +/- supports only

    If they continue I would lock the post until other action is taken.

    The moment you know the fun has to end

    The moment I joined the server back in May or June I didn’t expect I’d come this far. I thought this would be like the other gmod servers I’ve been on in the past. Play on the server for one to three days then drop it, but something else happened. The people I thought I wouldn’t even talk to became what I thought were my closest friends. They helped me through my darkest hours and were there to share laughs. 

     

    The joy ride of staff:

    June 16th 2021 the day that I went to staff interviews mostly out of boredom I didn’t really expect me to get staff, but their I was being pulled into drippy's ran forest and one of them saying “congrats” or something along those lines 

     

    After that moment I realized I need to start making a commitment to the game.

     

    3 months after I became staff I was rewarded senior mod 

     

    Another month and I became an admin. 

     

    Something that I thought I could never reach. 

     

    To the whole staff team/JMT/SMT I want to say thank you for the amazing journey those 5 months I’ve been staff I won’t forget it.

    My PD experience:

     

    When I first started out in pd I tried my best to be on the good notes of things and people I met helped along the way as I climbed through the ranks. I never thought I would make it to captain. 

     

    I do want to thank everyone, even the people who left the server. I know they probably won’t see it but still.

    Why should you be promoted (200 words minimum): 

     

    I should be promoted to the rank of Major as I feel like I have shown the responsibility and maturity to hold a position of that power. I always try to keep an up-beat tone when talking to people so they can feel like they don't have a fear of coming to command members for help. I know how to and when to take charge of a situation. I've also learned how to handle reports in a non-biased manner. My 7 months of being a staff member for the server being a big contributor to that skill of being able to be mature in reports. 

     I also know how to give proper punishments if needed. Next I feel like my activity on the server has been at a study increase where I try to get on at least 2 hours on average. My last reason for why I should be promoted to major is with the 15 weeks I've been a captain I was given a handful of hurdles that overtime I've overcame them, and I feel like it also gave me a lot of learning experience, and I feel like with the experience I can go above and beyond at the rank of a major.
