  1. Name: Endersteve Warden Name (If applicable): Titus Rank: CPT Date (MM/DD): 11/1 Date you will return (MM/DD): 11/7 Previous LOA (If applicable): 9/11-9/14 Reason (can be private): It's college Midterms week so I need to take extra time to study as well as my assignment load this week is higher than usual.
  2. Backstory: I was born in a rural town in the Pacific Northwest near the turn of the century (this part is actually true). How I came to work at the foundation: After graduation from college with a bachelors in Religious Studies I obviously got a job at a 7/11. That went on for a while before I got a job as a watchman at a entrance checkpoint for a local pharmaceutical company. Well one day I saw an ad in the newspaper for a security position, and it paid much better than my current one. Well it was a security job for the foundation, just hidden. I have no clue how I got this job with a degree in religious studies and they don’t even provide me with healthcare. But that’s alright.
  3. I didn’t expect you to resign and even less so to be mentioned, so I’m honestly pretty honored. Dude, I’m gonna miss having you around. It sounds like people were really killing your vibe so I’m sad to hear it got to the point you felt you had to go. Best of luck wherever you end up in life!
  4. Bruh what the heck bruh ;~; time for the in my feels challenge I guess. Sad to see you go, but I wish you the best in D5 and Nu7 and I hope you make it to the rank of Super Mega Ultimate Commander
  5. +Support This guy's a hard worker and I know he has our best interests in mind
  6. 1. Steam Name?: Endersteve0331 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:162785792 3. Roster Name?: Endersteve 4. Current Rank?: CPT 5. When were you promoted?: September 4th 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 5 and a half months 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: I do solemnly swear to faithfully uphold and defend the rules 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Yes 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Yes 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): The main reason I want to become a senior command member is so that I can better help members of security as well as security command. I also want to prove to myself and others that I have what it takes to serve them dutifully. It’s not about the perks or the rank, or anything like that. What matters to me most is you guys (sorry to get all mushy on you). If I become senior command I can act as a bigger voice for the desires of security and help carry out the wishes of security to make this branch as great as it can be. Security was my first branch, and the branch I care most about. Along with that I’ll be able to provide new and fresh ideas as I would be a newcomer to senior command. I believe wholeheartedly that I have the activity, dedication, will, and experience to be a great member of senior command. Along with that I frequently host PTs/off-meetings. One of my ultimate goals is improving branch relations so we can jive with every branch on this server. Along with this, I want to be able to help out and be a mentor to our low command and new members of security. I love helping people, and this would be no different. To me, there would be no greater honor than becoming a member of your senior command. As long as you need me, I’ll be here. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I would bring them back to bunks (I give them a chance to follow me and if they didn’t then I would cuff them to bring them back). If I previously let them know that they weren't allowed to leave d-block without permission and they were being mingey or disrespectful then I would remove them from security. If it seemed like an honest mistake and that they didn’t know what they did wrong, then I would explain to them that they need permission to leave d-block unless going to bunks to afk and that if I see them doing it again they’ll likely be punished. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: If they were mature about it and own up to it I would warn them that they shouldn’t be doing it unless they have a valid reason and that if I see them doing it again I will be striking them. If they were immature about it, couldn’t provide an explanation, or lied to me then I would explain what they did wrong and give them a strike. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would inform them that E-11 doesn’t have jurisdiction over security, and also explain that they’re not allowed in D-block in general. I would then tell them to please leave d-block as they’re not allowed in here. If they continue trying to come into d-block I would record it and reach out to E-11 command. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: I would first tell them to hop into the teamspeak. I would then give them the link to the NCO guide and we would go over the main points together. I would then explain to them that they can now call partial and hands up on condition orange and black. After this we would go over how to become a trainer and sniper and that they can now apply for WO during WO apps. Next, I would let them know that they’ll have to make a forums account if they don’t already have one. If necessary I would walk them through the steps on how to do so. Lastly, I would explain that they’ll have access to NCO activity logs as well as how to make a log. I would let them know they should change their name before giving them the whitelist. If they wanted to after the training, I would train them for FTOs/sniper.
  7. Reee! It’s sad to see you go, but I completely understand your reasoning and respect it. Hope things go well for you irl and that I see you around sometimes, best of luck wherever you go!
  8. +support idk what blink is but having a recon role would be nice
  9. Hope you have a good time, wherever life may take you! It was fun having you around dark
  10. Sad to see you go, hope things go well for you in life. Also glad I don’t have to pay off any debts
  11. (This LOA is being made on behalf of FusionThunder) Name: FusionThunder Warden Name (If applicable): Aeitus Rank: 1LT Date (MM/DD): 9/20 Date you will return (MM/DD): 9/24 Previous LOA (If applicable): 7/31 Reason (can be private): Power went out, backup generator blew out router, bad cell service
  12. Yeah, try and take it easy. You always give your 200% but don’t go overexerting yourself.
  13. It’s good to look out for yourself in some regards and this is one of them, I hope you’re able to recharge with this LOA
  14. Name: Endersteve Warden Name (If applicable): Titus Rank: CPT Date (MM/DD): 9/11 Date you will return (MM/DD): 9/14 Previous LOA (If applicable): 8/15-8/23 Reason (can be private): I’ve been dealing with a lot of stuff both in my control and outside my control, and having my duty as Command on top of that has made it more stressful. I also have noticed my activity has been slipping and that’s partly due to the aforementioned stuff but I also think I’m getting a little burnt out.
  15. 1. Steam Name?: Endersteve0331 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:162785792 3. Roster Name?: Endersteve 4. Current Rank?: 1LT 5. When were you promoted?: August 14th 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 4 Months 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: Yes 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Yes 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Yes 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I want to go even further to help security and its members. Security was my first branch and is the main one I am dedicated to. I strive to act fairly and justly in all circumstances and when I must cast down punishment or issue instructions I do so firmly, but not so firmly as to be mean. Despite this I still exercise compassion and understanding and love answering peoples questions or helping them in other ways. Along with this I show a sense of humor and get along with our enlisted and NCOs. I see security as a job and treat it as such. I show this through the promotions, sub branch promos and PT’s I host/cohost among other things which are the basis of a command member's duties. I also only promote those who I think are fit for it, even when I feel like I need to get more promotions in. Along with this I am an active command member. This should show that I am fit for the position. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I would tell the Officer to follow me back to bunks so I could talk to them. If they did not comply after me asking a few times then I would cuff them and bring them back to bunks. I would explain that they need permission from an NCO or above to leave D-block. I would then inform them that if they are caught continuing this kind of behavior they’re likely going to be punished in some form. I would then uncuff them if they were cuffed and tell them they’re free to leave. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I would tell them to follow me back to bunks, if they didn’t comply I would cuff them and bring them. I would tell him that he can’t leave d-block if he doesn't have legitimate reasons. After that I would tell other command to keep an eye out if I feel its necessary to do so and would then issue them a strike. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would tell them they don’t have jurisdiction over security and aren’t even allowed in D-block. I would then take a clip of this. If they refused then I would take a clip of it and show it to the E-11 command. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: You bring them back to bunks firstly. Then you go over the NCO guide with them and inform them they can now call partial and hands up on condition orange and black. You then let them know they can now be trained to be a sniper/trainer. After this you let them now they will also be able to apply for command during WO apps. I then would let them know they will need a forums account and would walk them through the process. I would then let them know about the nco activity logs channel and how to make activity logs. Following all this I would tell them to change their name to fit their new rank and would give them the whitelist.
  16. Name: Endersteve Rank: 1LT SteamID(Ex: STEAM_0:1:174348602): STEAM_0:1:162785792 Current Sub-Branches your in: Riot Control, Sniper, FTO, Wardens Why should you retain your rank (Command ONLY | 150+ words): One reason is that I’m active, not just within command but within FTO and Wardens. I take my job seriously and strive to set a good example and uphold the rules by being a conscientious command member. When I see someone breaking the rules or displaying egregious behavior, I step in and am not afraid to put my foot down. Though I step in when I see serious infractions I try to let people have some fun and enjoy themselves. Along with this, I still exercise a sense of humor, and take a relaxed and attentive attitude in conversation. I love helping people and always work to help others when they have questions or need assistance in some form. Not just this, but when other command members need assistance such as with PTs or trainees I assert myself and offer to help or step in. I want to continue my time in command to keep providing aid and become an even better person and command member. I am dedicated and loyal and deeply care for this community. I will continue to devote myself as long as I am needed. Any Notes, Questions, or Concerns?: I know I may come across as a stickler to some of you guys, but don’t be afraid to approach me, ask me questions or even hang out with me! I love helping others and getting to know more about them and I’m friendly underneath my command persona, I promise
  17. Nightsoil aaaaa, I hate to see you go! But at the same time I respect how you feel on this and hope you’ll still keep in touch. Here’s to your future endeavors!
  18. Name: Endersteve Warden Name (If applicable): Titus Rank: 1LT Date (MM/DD): 8/15 Date you will return (MM/DD): 8/23 Previous LOA (If applicable): Can't remember, roughly 1-2 months ago Reason (can be private): Going on a vacation I do with my family every year.
  19. Though we didn’t have too many interactions, I always got the impression you fully understood the duty of command. Hope to see you again someday!
  20. +support seems like it’ll breath some more life into security and overall looks like an improvement
  21. I feel you, take the time you need my man!
  22. +support As the KOS rule was reverted for reasons, this seems like an alright alternative. Vapes shouldn’t be able to be used as a strategic combat tool. It’s not what it was intended for. It’s just silly to not either KOS it or conversely reduce the smoke cloud size.
  23. -support As stated, we already have branches and sub-branches that handle these things
  24. + support This is awful. The other posts say it all.
  25. +support The MOTD should be consistent with policy on the d-block sign to avoid confusion and have consistency Also, like others are saying, D-class take full advantage of this ambiguity to taunt security members and try and bait them into sits
